A special hotel, exceptionally.
But as we said, that we for two days into another hotel in Goa would change, it was with the courtesy past. The service for the farewell was a disaster. read more

The hotel and its location is absolutely fantastic. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
The spa area offers very relaxing massages and nicely furnished. The gastronomy is excellent. In short: it was the most beautiful holidays, we have ever experienced. read more

After a tour we were pleased us on a couple of quiet days on the beach. The location of the hotel and the beach were very good. Unfortunately the russians with their numerous idyll disturbed the pall aver and telephone. At the beach beach bars are a welcome alternative to the Kempinskipreisen in the hotel.
Really liked the Disco Night 'and' Mike with fireworks and folklore. read more

The Leela palace is located in the main building a shared-certainly the Indian China showpiece in the area. Unfortunately this area is used by the guests little. Overall, the hotel has significant weaknesses on, so that a maximum of 4.5-stars are justified:
1.) Location:
Tastefully laid out resort to several lagoons and waterways. In the evening the paths are lit not bad at all. The mini-golf course between the hotel and the beach is really the absolute joke. First of all, hardly anyone is here, here a first-class Secondly, it would have the pool area enrich the garden. ...
2.) beach:
Beach with service is OK. Unfortunately the away to the beach, to the golf course around.
Sand fleas after late rains look to painful wounds and lead finger. (Clove oil, disinfection ointment and take Systral). 1.8 m Tiedenhub, and thus it was pretty strong tides. Bathing opportunities are at high tide, tide limited-water quality satisfactory.
3.) room:
Our standard room was overall OK.-was only rare in us turndown service, mini bar was refilled only with call.
4.) dining and associated costs:
The quality of the food was all in all satisfactory to good, the variety was satisfactory. The prices were outrageous but (BBQ 65 per person without drinks, Indian 50 to 60 also).
Also the prices in the adjacent beach stalls (Shacks) for example 15 to 20 red snapper are high in comparison with Thailand or Mexico, for example.
5.) conclusion:
The Leela experience was a total value. We have made interesting excursions to old-Goa, Panjim and spice plan days. The weather was very good with 30 degrees and light wind. After night rainfall against clove oil sand fleas work (I had unfortunately none and therefore blows 40).
Additional costs are relatively high, it is because, we are content with locals Curries.
The Leela palace overall we give 4.5 stars. read more
