The TÜV 23 years old, the first tour already closed at the hotel. Building and facilities are worn total. The food is an impertinence and criticisms. Bounces the staff went out of their way, but from a dachshund

Staff and entertainers spoke as good as no German and English. The entertainment was only in French. Also in the hotel area German were a rarity. En suite rooms and hotel area were very in need of renovation and the cleanness left a lot to be desired. Food at the buffet constantly repeated and one knew partly what was, in the absence of any information in German or English. The beach was very nice. read more

The complex is getting old, but clean. The staff can (contrary to the often expressed view) German or English, so communication worked great. With a smile and a 'Merci' the skin now. The guests were 90% French. Besides, there were Germans, Austrians, Swiss and a few Czechs.
The pool and child care rather nothing I can say, I was on the beach daily. The seaweed was quite annoying there, but that's just on Djerba Sunday every morning the beach was cleaned and most of the Tang 'picked up'. On other beaches looked much worse. Meals were well designed, but tasty ... and sufficient. My room was in one of the bungalows was rather small, but sufficient traveling alone. However, when I imagine two persons in the double room is, it is rather cramped.
Conclusion: a successful week in a good hotel offering. read more

## Danger of a mix up ##
We booked all inclusive at this hotel, even though we were also looking at Caribbean World in Djerba (it's called Caribbean World Thalasso) and the travel agent showed us other reviews. Important: there are two Caribbean Worlds in Djerba- check to see which one is which. This one had neither a bar in the pool or a slide. We met another couple that had meant to go to the other hotel too. Maybe my review comes accross as dissapointed, but I try to be as objective as possible.
## Overall condition ##
It ... had 3 stars for Tunisian standards, but not for European. It was in need of a renovation. The walls needed to be cleaned, dented trash cans, holes, etc. It was cleaned and there were many employees, but still dirty. For example, the windows looked as if they weren't cleaned for 5 years, and there was dust under the tables, etc. The trash was emptied daily. The hotel was in an overall delapitated state, it seemed as if it could fall apart. See my pictures.
## Other services ##
With three meals a day there were drinks and pizza and crepe choices daily. The pizza wasn't the best, but the crepes were very good and made fresh to order. The drinks tasted different at the bar. There wasn't any juice, just some kind of instant drink (kiwi, orange, pineapple), which weren't particularly good. Cola and Fanta weren't brand names and tasted bad, sometimes they were flat. We mostly enjoyed the special mixed drinks they made for us, they were the most drinkable. To the alcoholic drinks:
Positive: There were some alcohols, beer and wine. The alcohol was bottled and mostly name brands. For hygenic reasons, I didn't use any ice, and room temperature schnaps itsn't the best. So that was out. The beer was bad, so was the wine. Alcoholic mixed drinks weren't that great either. Whoever wants to get at least a 'buzz' here on holiday is in the wrong place.
## Women ##
If you have even a half attractive girlfriend with you, you can't leave her alone in the hotel without her being bothered and hit on (whether it be from the masseurs or Tunisian guests). For single women who don't want to put a lot of effort into being attractive and like to romp around, then this place would be recommendable.
## French ##
The hotel guests were mostly French, but that wasn't a problem because they were mostly friendly, like some German guests. Many of the French guests also spoke some German. Everyone's behaviour was good to very good, there wasn't even a bad look at someone.
## Age Groups ##
Overall mixed, but a lot of older guests. Mostly French couples between 50-60, but also a a few families and younger couples. read more

In the first week of our holiday there were 17 Germans in the hotel, and in the second week there were around 6. We never saw the others. A very lonely holiday.
In the past, the hotel area must have been very nice, but since the opening only a few essential things have been renovated.
The crumbling walls have been painted over, so that the condition can't immediately be seen.
The room looked very used, old furniture, like bulky waste, crooked mirrors, towels like rags (rips and holes). The electrical conditions should be against regulation: loose plugs, partially covered switches ... (my daughter received an electrical shock). Dirty.
The beach itself was clean, but there was liter in the water and wasn't inviting. A lot of algae. How different from the beaches to north.
Pool was ok. There were enough pool chairs and umbrellas, trees for shade.
The staff gave overall a lot of effort, but that couldn't compensate for the shortcomings.
Conclusion: The hotel is not recommendable. There are definately better hotels in Tunisia with nicer beaches for the same price. read more

It was from the hotel didn't even have an apology. The complex is very in need of renovation and dirty. In the pool my daughter aufgeschlitst a exposed tile walk. The glasses and plates were dirty you disgusted before. On the fourth day we had then visit of cockroaches in the bathroom. We ... were not for the first time in Tunisia, but we had never had such an experience. read more

The hotel is in a abbruchreifen condition. A renovation will definitely not. The level of cleanliness in the restaurant was nothing to feel (dirty dishes, table cloths, etc. the pool one should only Enter, if one nauseates nothing!
The beach is nice. The sea with large rocks stocked (very big risk of injury) and many, smelly seaweeds, we could not. In the area you could only with French or Italian (not German or English) away. This place is offered, we couldn't understand. read more
