Hotel Le Meridien Cochin^{(5 stars)}

This hotel was the last stop on our trip through South India. The area is something out of the way, but with the tuktuk you can also shopping streets and the town centre. If the hotel not included in our itinerary would have been, I would have chosen it not itself, since I not like concrete. The hotel itself is not very inviting, but inside is quite beautiful decorated. Also the room would have been tastefully decorated, unfortunately a penetrating petroleum tank hung out in the air, it has a when entering the room takes your breath away. The bathroom ... was clean. The food was very good, both buffet and also freshly prepared food (steak!) were offered. Friendly staff, partly modest english. The pool was beautiful, beach chairs and towels were available. The atmosphere and furnishings were above the entrance small custard and rabbits in penned a Quad, what I felt as cruelty to animals. To the airport one drives about a hour, what you should take into account on the right side of average. read more
