We had to our vacation a stopover in Abu Dhabi and participated in the beach rotana, in our eyes a top hotel. All of the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, we were spoilt. The room was rather small, but beautiful and comfortable equipped and with comfy beds. Evenings even the bed turned down and the lighting turned on, so that you and 'at home' feels, if you be in room comes. The only thing, that us in the room disturbed, was, that we do not shower's wall had, but only a curtain, so the bathroom after showering very easy ... is flooded. In a star hotel should a a glass division in it. May is the newer part of the hotel available, what we cannot judge however, since we in the older areas were.
We only booked with breakfast-this was however the best, the we have ever in a hotel got; and we have stayed in many very good hotels!
Right next to the hotel is the Abu Dhabi Mall, where you could change money, stroll or something eat out can. Directly in front of the mall there was a hop on/hop off bus stop here you can a city tour book, the is very recommendable. For a city trip the hotel is well suited, the shuttle from the airport takes about 20-30 minutes.
Which we can highly recommend, is the dessert-safari, you in Abu Dhabi Mall below at the entrance book can-for sensitive stomachs but we recommend before tablets against carsickness, the drive over the dunes is very rapidly and borderline-o read more

Very nice hotel direct close to the city centre and directly at the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful, problems were immediately dealt with and trying to solve. The restaurants in the hotel offer varied, very tasty dishes. The direct access to the Abu Dhabi Mall offers great shopping. In any case the hotel is recommendable! read more

Recommendation with restriction
Hello,
The said component (beach wing) is somewhat outdated now. Rooms were very dark and well worn. On the pictures in the catalogs you see the 'new building'. In the foreground, but Abu Dhabi shopping mall. Great mall with good possibilities a small something to eat or a cosy café to enjoy.
The ' specialty restaurants ' in the hotel are quality ok. Stayed at the brauhaus, pegroß and benihama dining. In this restaurant one gets also alcohol, otherwise in any 'public' restaurant or supermarket and so on for 0.5 liter of beer it is good ... 6,5 Euro plan. For a dinner to 2. should at least 100 €be planned.
Prices in the nearby located mall are very reasonable and also the quality the speisn excellent.
City tour in any case recommendable, emiares palace not forget \u263a
Taxi from the airport to the hotel circa 60 Dirham (12€), taxi in general. Very cheap.
Breakfast buffet ok.
As mentioned correspond the rooms, in the getting quite old beach wing, not a 5 star standard, in my opinion.
Otherwise a very successful holiday (also the very small and fine, 120 meters, long beach can enjoy.
Construction in the area didn't bother us. read more

Great hotel to discover the town and for relaxation. Direct access to the shopping mall, taxi for trips in the town enough in front of the hotel, as well as the city bus for sightseeing. Enough chairs at the beach section, no open sea just as one imagines it. There are also more than a towel for the chair received. Very gladly we were also in the november guests at this truly highly recommended hotel. The mix of town and beach is for our idea of a holiday very pleasant. The well-trained and very attentive staff cared for the guests perfect, every wish was promptly fulfilled. Interesting for us was the participation in the 'meet the team' -in the evening, at which the chief function working staff contact person. We met at the evening amongst others mr. The hotel is traffic-technically well bound, in the emirates is the but mostly lower, because taxis are extremely cheap. A wonderful with an arabic flair and direct access to the mall. The staff are really friendly and willing to help, with English one comes everywhere by, there is even German speaking staff.
The pool area - even with lawn is large and very well maintained, there are enough chairs and umbrellas available. In the winter is the pool area but probably already early in the shade are and the beach is not really nice. There is sandy beach, but the 'sea' this probably is a narrow fjord. For people, the too many at the beach want to stay, so ... maybe not so suitable, for all other however recommendable.

Were already more than 30 times in this hotel. Also know many other hotels in Abu Dhabi. The beach rotana boasts central location ( town and beach) and the amazing service. Because the hotel more of a 'business-people' is booked impressed the refined atmosphere in the lobby and in the restaurants.

All 4 hotels, which we during our round trip had, this was the best. Staff are very friendly, facilities and restaurant excellent. Opposite the lagoon is under construction, this does not disturb however further and is an interesting variety to watch. If we go back to Abu Dhabi travel only this hotel into question. read more
