Our room was very spacious. It consisted of a living room and a bedroom, bath ( a bit small, but ok) and balcony. Very clean! When we arrived, were on the table also a bottle of wine and a fruit basket. ;-)

In the main restaurant is breakfast, lunch and dinner serves. Everything was very good, something for everyone. The waiters are all very, very nice and accommodating. Especially the restaurant manager Petros is a 'dream'. A superb type, crazy nice and always interested. Especially pleased over German guests. If you problem or some questions, at Petros for everything an ear to lend. We would have wanted to take him with us ;-) very, very friendly greetings to Petros! Apart from that there are between 12 and 18 hours at the artemis bar snacks ( pizza, salads, cakes and so on) it is everywhere very much worth it for cleanliness put.

The service is very good. The reception -women were all very friendly. Most can also speak German. Cleaning of the rooms was good. As you would expect. Complaints we had no!

It was very lots of activities in the hotel. From water aerobics over volleyball to the Zumba dancing... Something for everyone. Of course you must not participate and the people are not pushy either, if one does not want, then you're not. The entertainment team makes every evening from o'clock a show, for example: comedy night, stars night or fire show. Very recommendable. The pool was very clean and a pleasant temperature. Chairs are abundant!

Hotel is in a good state! There is altogether 3 pools and a water slides-pool. Large complex. Very clean!

The distance to the beach is not even 5 minutes walk. Beach is very clean and the sea really clear. However must one for 2 loungers and a sun screen 6 Euro pay! The airport is by car approximately 15 minutes out. One gets already a bit noise from the planes with, but it holds itself within limits. There are shops not very many. It was more worth going in major cities ( Hersonissos very recommendable) the supermarket in front of the hotel we wouldn't recommend it, as there very expensive is. Either to the supermarkets at the beach or go to Lidl;-) than excursions we recommend in any case a Jeep safari and the water slides-park' water-city '. They were really great. Apart from that the best rent a car ( car hire equal beside the restaurant - the cheapest car on the day for 40 Euro included risk) and the area explore. It is worth Rethymnon, the kournas lake, or the village of elounda, from the spinalonga island can go boating.

room is ok....the size is good,they are clean and organized,air conditioned,balcony and all what you need for a nice place to rest...

1 reastaurant,the quality of food and beverages is ok,fit for all people...the place is clean,the atmosphere is calm,fit for dinning...

staff are very friendly and willing to help all the time...they manage to cope with the number of guests when the hotel is full although when the hotel is full the restaurant is a bit crowdy...staff speak english and a few words in other languages...

Animation is excellent...although there are only 2 animators,1 chief animator,one miniclub animator,there is something happening all the time...they work so hard...i dont know where they find energy for this...from streching,darts,aquagym,table tennis,boccia,volley,football,sumba to night shows,comedies,dances...special thanks to:Adonis(lifeguard),Paulina(miniclub animator),Chris(sport animator),Darius(sport animator)...Go Romania :)) !

the hotel is very big,clean and organized,an enjoyable place to stay...breakfast,lunch and dinner,diversity in food specialties...hotel has all types of guests,from children to old people...

main shopping street is 10 minutes away,beach is 5 minutes away,next city is 20 minutes away by car or bus,and the airport 40 minutes away by car or bus...many excurrsion posibillities at reception or nearby traders...

We had a standard double room with extra bed for the child. The size of the room was okay, the air conditioning worked perfectly, if one only times out was, how it works. The furnishing is very old and in need of renovation, for example wooden beds without sattled frame but with eingenagelten boards than slatted frame. Tv didn't use it. Safe with 20 € per week too expensive. Balcony depending upon room of various sizes

The cleaning of the tables is a catastrophe: with dry cloth dirty tables means bacteria spread out but not clean, the glasses are often stained, the silverware too. Several times i 'sow' on the straight cleaned table written with the finger and at night the floor still The food is a mixture of greek and international. The meat was often more bones and fat than meat. Breakfast buffet good and sufficient, lunch and dinner also with the above restriction. In the restaurant it is a very hectic to, unless one goes very early or late, it is lovely quiet.

The front desk is always hard, in case of any problems to help. They are all very friendly. The restaurant manager and manager also, the always in case of any problems and complaints are available and help. The service in the restaurant must be improved, many waiters unfriendly and need eternally, tables and set them again. The cleaning of the tables is a catastrophe, otherwise the hotel is clean! The staff at the hotel speaks german and english. A doctor was on the hotel reception distance. The Neckermann-catalog promised child animation, there was at the time of our stay not more, since probably too few german-speaking children were there and the entertainers therefore Neckermann sent home were.

There were only 2 animateurs over there, the your best tried. Mini-disco in the evening was ok and evening shows, but between silly and completely stupid varied; maybe i was just bland or betrnken enough, it is easy to find; the russians certainly found it great. Shopping opportunities in the area (about 10 minutes walk) and for details right on the hotel. The chairs at the beach were better than by the pool, with 6 Euro per day but quite expensive. The sandy beach was always wet despite low waves and nothing special nice. My guess is, that the perhaps the liegenvermietern extra watering was, more are rent to may. Internet portal in the hotel lobby (1 €= 16 minutes)

A neat area with several pools (also children's pools) and water slides. The rooms are spread over several building (on the restaurant, as well as the pools). The snack bar artemis is the center the hotel lunch, as well as in the evening. The waterslides are very popular, correspondingly loud it was there. A relaxation area is unfortunately not, there are children. The entertainment tried to do their best, but to 2. there's not so much to do. The safe is with 20 € per week too expensive. The loungers at the pools are old, saggy and many are broken. The all-inclusive offer is ok, but could be improved. Guest structure : lots of russians (on who the hotel but unfortunately currently rely on because buchungsrückgängen the westerners especially the german-language), german, swiss, british, belgian, dutch, Poland and czechs

The beach is really about 5 minutes by foot away, the beach however not really nice and often wet. The area is rather dirty, debris and trash were partly rum, as well as partly incomplete buildings. Supermarkets are in circa 10 minutes away by foot distance. There are some car rentals around the hotel, the in the hotel is however according to my experience the best. The town center is approximately 15 minutes out; there one finds bars, restaurants, shops, pharmacies...

We had a family room which slept 3 adults very comfortably. Very clean large bathroom, fridge, safe ,tv, telephone, lovely balcony overlooking the pool.

The food is fantastic. A great selection everyday. Fresh pizza cooked in a pizza oven is one of the best pizzas i have ever had. If you love food then this is the hotel for you. Food is available from 7.30am - 9.30pm.

I cannot fault the staff. They were all very friendly and extremely hard working. The rooms were cleaned to an excellent standard everyday.

This hotel has 3 pools. All are very clean and very well maintained. There is a small waterpark which is great fun. The animation team were excellent with a very good daily programme which includes aqua aerobics, zumba, darts, volleyball, football and much more. a show is put on every night which is very entertaining.

A superb all inclusive hotel. Very clean and well kept. Food is superb with an excellent selection. Something for everyone.

A 5 minute walk to the beach and local shops. A lovely clean sandy beach.

The rooms are have already gotten very old. Our first room was so moldy and musty, that we refused, there our vacation to spend. Unfortunately we had it there the first two nights bearable. The 2. room was nice and bright, however as probably all übringen room already ageing and not more definitely four-star standard.

The food was for me reasonable. They tried variety to get. The beverages left however to be desired. Many diluted, sweet drinks, the in certain places not enjoyable were. The cleanliness in the restaurant was not always correct. The waiters however all very nice.

Friendly staff, maid service very friendly. Best one pierces oneself with English, whereby at the front desk also mostly they speak German.

Pools were reasonable, also the new water park is very nice. The entertainment with daly was perfect. Also the beach was very nice, great great crystal clear water.

Generally speaking, I would the hotel not a four star hotel designate, rather three stars.

Rooms were okay though spartan. ( extra bed is a camp -disaster-) On tv there was 3 program in German, but who needs already television on vacation! Air conditioning worked well: Balcony was good and with a view of the sea. Safe costs 30 Euro for 10 days.

1 main restaurant 1 pool+1 sports bar The quality of the food was good and plentiful and it was always very clean in the restaurant. Eat it in buffet form. The style direction of the kitchen includes dish national and international. Only drawback the ess habit of our eastern european citizens; their plates fill as if there was no tomorrow and then half lie to let. Very hard to get used to. The waiters was without exception very friendly and accommodating. A large plus point is the head waiter Petros the our stay at least a star should. He was always there for us and organized even a common food for the few German guests. Clear thumbs up for Petros! A superb type!

Staff was very friendly, minor flaws were taken care of immediately. German from time to time spoken( front desk partly, restaurant) Room were daily well cleaned. Complaints there was no!

Leisure offers we didn't use them since we mainly at the beach were. It was however excellent. Sandy beach: chairs on the beach cost 6 Euro for the whole day. Water sports there is also for a fee( jet ski, banana parasailing ) Anna and team were super. Pool was ok. Since almost no German in the hotel were also no Loungers with towels reserved! Great. Evenings there were shows of the entertainment. PS: the water slides by the pool can only from a minimum size of 120 centimeter be used. ( important in children)

Beautiful extensive hotel, in terraces laid out. The guests are in the main building and several buildings accommodated. The rooms are functionally furnished and clean. In all-inclusive is the food rich. ( american breakfast, lunch and dinner in buffet form, changing dishes. Snacks at the bar ( pizza and small dishes, pizza very popular)! The audience was mainly eastern european (Russian, Polish and isrälisch ). The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

The hotel is about 20 minutes away from the airport. ( somewhat noise from the planes) The beach is about 5-minute walk away. Purchase, as well as entertainment possibilities there are outside of the hotel little to no.

Four stars fit it great, room provide you with everything you need (aircondition, fridge, TV and so on).

One main restaurant (where is served breakfast, lunch and dinner). One pool bar where you can have pizza, salat, grilled soussage, pita and more (pizza guy is friendly and he will make you which pizza you want - pizza is great with no doubts).

As I already said, stuff is excelent here. They are able to use France, Italian, English and Russian languages (maybe more but you know we needed just English). In Gouves resort you can rent a car, buy trips to various location and take massage.

Tons of activities you can join to. Every 30 minutes you can hear someone from animation team shouting: Footbal in 10 minutes, Volleyball in 10 minutes, Sumba in 10 minutes and so on. Every night there is some program performed by animation team, before main action your kind can join kids disco.

Resort is located near by sea (2 minutes walk). Beach is really nice, clean and friendly people who wants 6€ for set :) Resort is really large, with aqua park (4 kinds of atractions). Food here is absolutelly great, stuff is really friendly and always ready to help with everything. Animations team is pretty good here, we had lots of fun with them so big hands to them :) Only one disadvantage is about drinks included in all-inclusive. There is not many kinds of alcohol (you can have beer, vine, brandy, raki and ouzo). Quality of drinks is sometimes discutable. Whole resort was always pretty clean. Most of visitors are people with young children (about 70%). Mostly people from Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, but you can met people from Izrael, France, Ireland too.

It is really close to Heraklion (it takes 15 minutes by bus to get there). Buses have air-condition so it is not problem to use them even weather is damn hot sometimes. Heraklion is really must see due to its beauty and Knossos. Main street in Gouves is unfortunatelly little bit dead nowdays, but you can still find lot of open shops, where you can buy souvenires, Italians ice-cream bar where ice-cream is really must have.

There's a restaurant for breakfast/ lunch/ dinner. Enough room is available, choice of food is good - you always find something. Noodles with sauce is there every day, different types of meat, vegetables. Food is very good and diverse. With of the pool bar from 10,30 snacks, homemade pizza from to o'clock -this is recommendable - and coffee and cake from to o'clock. The cakes was unfortunately always the same and coffee from plasitkbechern tasted not so great. In the restaurant and the couple friendly staff, clean.

The staff are very friendly, rooms were cleaned each day. On arrival unfortunately a dirty sheet-was immediately changed. A lady at the front desk also perfect speak German, otherwise one got along with English.

Daily animation besides friday from to o'clock, animators nicely, not pushy. Evening shows the entertainers at o'clock - unfortunately very loud and matter of taste. There are 2 pools, 2 children's pools and 4 water slides ( business 12 until o'clock). Pool area very clean, chairs and umbrellas available ( in all-inclusive included) however we have the loungers at o'clock reserved. From about 10 o'clock hardly any space. Kids club we didn't use, children's disco 20:30

The hotel consists of several 2 story buildings. Facilitities are well arranged. We had a family room - double room and a extra sleeping area for the child. Both rooms were with air-conditioning and tv equipped. Air conditioning only work if you in the room is, cooling was good-if you get out as it worked. The room was big enough, beds very creaky. In all-inclusive you have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snacks, pizza, gratiseis for children in the afternoon, drinks from to o'clock respectively at the pool bar to 10 until o'clock. The rooms were cleaned daily, and also otherwise was the complex clean. Nationality of the guests mixed - Poland, russians, french, German

The beach is according to brochure 300 meters away. Walk 2 loungers and a umbrella cost per day 6 Euro, sandy beach. In the area there are some souvenir shops, on every corner you can a car borrow-will also in the hotel offered. We didn't use.
