The hotel offers privacy for honeymooners (which we were) as well as families. It has a decent sports center with well equipped gym and tennis, bikes, etc a kids club and youth center. Nice modern rooms, a wonderfull white sand beach. If we returned we would opt for all inclusve because the AI quality of food and bev is very good, incl selection of decent wines and cocktails, compared to other AI resorts! Keep in mind that the sea in mauritius can be a bit rough due to the wind and that there are stones so u need bath shoes. ... But the beach is wide and simply fsntastic. read more

    We opted for the beach superior suite and were very happy with it. The view is great and nobody was at this part of the beach although the hotel was fully booked. We saw the family rooms of our friends with kid and must state that they are not practical at all since the second room equals to the entrance. Also we find that at least one coffee per person shall be included for half board as well.it is a five star hotel at the end and expensive enough.

    Breakfast is hilarious, you cant miss a thing. Buffet (half board,AI) is international with an Indian/Mauritian touch what i liked a lot. Most of the dishes at chinese chopsticks, tides and sapori are included as well the others were with supplement. We did not try the japanese (expensive) As stated above if u have kids or eat three times a day u should opt for AI because it is really handled in a generous way by the hotel. And top quality!

    The numerous staff members are all very, very friendly. In the different restaurants,however, you experience a lack of efficiancy because obviously there is a strong hierachical system, so the waters are not allowed to serve a table completley and efficient but must stick to their duties even if it means "please wat" for the guest.

    Brandnewly equipped gym with cardio muscle gym equpment, all u need to get rid off the diners. 4 trnnis courts rackets are complimentary. Best is to play from 5 pm on (reservation!) they offer a gym and water aerobics class every day(good!) yoga every other day. I did the wake up bike tour that leads u to centre flaq, malheureusement on the main streets in lack of alternatives. The pitch and putt offer is not very attractive, neither was the golf clinic. Too much people for one pro makes no sense. they should Improve the place for golfers!! The fitness staff is competent and fit, therefore the place is attractive to youth and adults.we loved it. Every other night there was a decent modern dance group at the piazza. If u dont like the life music every night there is The nice tides bar. But it was never very croweded although cocktails and staff is excellent.

    In the Eastern part the weather is best from nov to jan because there is not so much wind. However, wind is always a compaignon in Maur as well as rain. We only had two days of poor wheather this time of the year. For a supermarket you must go by taxi to belle mare or centre flaq. Nearby is the links golf course brelonging to constance belle mare and 20 min away the hotel touessrok from the same group where hotel guests of long beach can play unlimited. Its worth while!!

Stayed for 8 days, in the suite, room 535. Our suite was fit for the royal family and the treatment received was of the royal class. The room was spacious, warm and homely. My child felt right at home. We had our very own private access to the sandy beach, loved every minute of it. The rooms were serviced twice a day and was always neat and tidy, there were no insects or mozzies to be seen. Personal bathrobes and bath slippers were provided for my hubby, child and myself. Daily afternoon snacks were received and fruit platters served at ... the pool side. Waking up to the stunning view of the sun rising and the striking waves was just pure tranquility. The pool facilities is eye-catching and caters for the young and old. It has a specific heated pool for the kids which made it even more pleasurable for my son. The architecture of the pool, hotel and the landscaping is out of this world. It has to be THE most stylish resorts that I have been too. The ambiance of the hotel is just so PERFECT and relaxing, it really takes your mind away from the daily stresses of life. The service received from the staff were outstanding. You are always greeted by Mr., Mrs. and Master Naidoo, just that made us feel even more special. The staff always went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one. Even the house keeping staff would ensure that your meals were ok and on time, yet this isn’t part of their responsibilities. To name a few staff that went the extra mile for us and made the holiday a memorable one, Chundun, Ravi, Kiran and Asshish, thank you. We had the privileged of spending the day at Le Tousserok as a day visitor, Le Tousserok may have the best food and variety however their rooms and facilities is not up to standard as Long beach. The staff at Le Tousserok were not as friendly and welcoming as Long Beach. The only negative comment that I have is the variety of the meat and kiddies dishes, it was very bland and more unfamiliar meat were served which left my hubby very hungry and disappointed. Though I had enjoyed the vegetarian options to the fullest. Presentation of the meal was excellent but I feel focus should be on the taste of the dishes. I will definitely be frequently visiting Long Beach, no doubt about it! Thank you to Long Beach staff for making our holiday a unforgettable and tremendous one. read more

Great hotel... But sadly one saw already, a year such complex also properties can. Hard to believe, that this hotel in the top 100 of the world should be!?! Okay, I know the other 99 hotels ( still) not, but I have clearly more for such a hotel expected. BTW: the amount of the extra charges for food and drinks, excursions and attractions, etc. Were so rude, that you already nearly somewhat undertake should. Nevertheless; I would go back there-with family or as an athlete (golfers ). read more

The hotel lies very beautiful, the rooms are very generously spread out. The whole hotel is really clean, it was constantly swept and cleaned. We had all-inclusive, you can, but you didn't have to. The guests were in the majority French, Swiss, German, a few British and a few Italians. Average age between 30 and 50. read more

    We had a deluxe room, located in the first row next lag, but you have to through the garden to the beach. The room is huge, the shower with rain shower and the toilet is extra separated. The air conditioning was very silent and works perfectly. For the first time we had enough hang up possibilities and closets so that nothing in the suitcase had to stay and it was still enough Capacity in Scharnk. Also the two suitcase went purely.

    There is the main restaurant le marché, the tides( fish), the Sappori (Italian), one Chinese and the Hasu (Japanese). Breakfast is unbeatable: from eggs in jeer possible variation, freshly baked pancakes and croissants, French cheese, Italian salami, salmon and geräuchetter marlin (really recommendable nonetheless) to sausages, baked beans, etc. And fresh fruit and juices. Who finds there nothing, that is not to help. The Marché evenings has always buffet (i am not a friend of), the Italian had good pasta, the pizza was not good, since they were on the stone oven baked was, but not Italian was hardly seasoned. The Chinese and the tides was very good, but the best was the Japanese, is however also not in the price from all inclusive inside, is worthwhile but in any case. Sometimes is however the staff overstrained, it would be worthwhile, if each his own tables would have, he to serve is, then would not all so muddled race and not know, whether you already ordered or not.

    The friendliness and touch of the staff is great. In the morning, the room boy came and everything was clean, in the afternoon the mini bar refilled and evenings the Nightboy again to the freshly setting of the bed and monitoring, whether what was missing. During our stay we wanted to the half a drink from the mini bar not have, however therefor more milk etc., which were nahc our desires also being respected. The staff they spoke English and French, some also a little bit German, but you should not expect.

Where three years ago the very modest le coco beach hotel has. There are some months ago-brand new 'long beach hotel' on one of the largest oceanfront properties in Belle Mare on the East Coast. The architecture of a famous architect Community from South Africa is simply stunning nice & basic and the proximity to the German Bauhausarchitektur commendation. While surrounding five stars hotel so slow 'getting old' are. (careful!) here everything is brand new, and time according to. And not. Shabby. The centre is a 'Marktplatz'. Around the various restaurants, so you at the time of booking a room ... to the front desk or nearby to the market value should be. Otherwise the morning walk to the breakfast restaurant. Corresponding short: it should be, with reasonable certainty, at the state-of-the-art and schickeste Hotel, on the island of action. Myriads of staff cared for the guests and always in a hurry to help. We had booked 'all inclusive': otherwise, it could be expensive, if the bills-as our friends-sign up to ☺ Disadvantage was, that not all of the drinks & food 'all inclusive' are, for example, unfortunately only four different whites. And so on the famous faithful HOUND red Rupi 2100 is here at the moment, which is more than 50 Euro ☹ But you want to change or improve. The Japanese restaurant is excellent from the 'all inclusive' system ' out. By the way: many young parents Marquesas Islands Time children: a real five stars hotel for families, you probably want to have not true. Bottom line: I'd go again. If the account has passed. Outrageous expensive (short) are also trips with the taxi; even if the fare will be negotiated beforehand. A rental car is not only because of the link to avoid traffic: traffic is chaotic on the narrow roads. read more
