A hotel what clean is, what a very good location to the Vatikan and in which man with English very far. The rooms are okay and clean, bathroom is also very reasonable. The offered breakfast offers for Italian standards quite a lot of, even scrambled egg, yoghurt and so on there were in the morning. Service from the hotel - there is an airport transfer ( about half an hour) with a taxi from the hotel. Cost 50,00 Euro. If you consider, the express from the airport to the main station per person already 14,00 Euro costs, then ... the taxi from the speed, convenience and cost reasons but the easiest option. This hotel I can for a city break recommend! read more

The hotel lies only 5 minutes' walk away from Vatikan peter place which was very good!

Great hotel for sightseeing!
We were there for 4 days/ 3 nights in Rome and this hotel lies traffic wise very good. On foot one is in 5 minutes at the peter place, the next bus stops are about 200 meters away.
The rooms are huge, with a safe, tv, mini bar and air conditioning equipped, partly also with a balcony.
The breakfast room is in the basement and is very stylishly decorated. The breakfast buffet is very plentiful (different pastries, sausage, cheese, scrambled egg, roasted bacon, muesli, fresh fruit, yoghurt, marmelade, coffee, tea, juices).
The hotel offers also a ... shuttle service around €50 to the airport to, which we also taken into account have.
Overall I can this hotel recommend a lot. read more

Location of the hotel is top, lots of other the absolute Flop.
An ageing hotel, staff ( except for housekeeping) very silent, almost unfriendly.
Rooms, the bathroom was OK and clean. No German tv, since from analogue to digital was moved.
Renovation works in the hotel started in the morning at 7:30 o'clock, sleep in, relaxation ZERO!
Breakfast buffet was poor, you'll be full but not so much choice.
For a city hotel okay, but it would have been nice, if you when booking on the renovation works in the hotel out would have been! read more

Hotel maximum three stars. Clean and visible room. Location very good for visit from Vatican. On foot the main sights reach.
Annoying the wiki is -fee in the rooms, with 5 euros per day be charged. In the lobby wiki is free. The hotel only a breakfast buffet the is sufficient. Disgusting was only this yellow flüssigei, the as scrambled egg is offered.
A restaurant isn't available. Nevertheless there is a small menu for the room service. The hotel you can recommend at any time. Very peaceful location in a side street. the location of the hotel is almost unbeatable. The Peter cathedral is just a stone's throw away, but the service and the furnishings leaves a lot to be desired.
although I prior to an e-mail had written and a room on the sixth floor had asked, as there was a view of the Peter cathedral possible is, one has not even on the mail told us, because there was no rooms on the sixth floor was free, a room on the fifth floor given.
the lady at the front desk in the check in was very unfriendly. Not even a ... 'good night' or something like that was in it.
the breakfast is very monotonous and definitely not delicious or rich. The service, except for a nice Waitress, a model a grump and rudeness.
the service is a only Ray of Hope. Housekeeping is friendly and very competently and attempted from the run-down decor the best to make.
at the moment there is construction going, the but only from about 9 hours start. So you can relatively long sleep and only got legs breakfast something noise with. Acceptable.

The star hotel Michelangelo is due to its location right next to the Vatican and its very good bus connections in the city center highly recommendable. By taxi from the central station is about 20 minutes in (about 15 €costs). The room was big enough and had a safe, as well as a tv with three German programs. It was clean, but a bit heruntergwohnt-paint was peeling off the ceiling, stains on the wallpaper, crooked lamps. The breakfast was absolutely okay-coffee, juices, bread rolls and croissants, Nutella and jam, good sausage, cheese, cake. The fresh fruit one more. The front ... desk is nice, but short. Furthermore, there was no breakfast, since we had already had to 05:30 had to leave the hotel-despite order/demand for a packed lunch on the eve, we heard nothing. read more

The hotel is located only a few minutes walk from the Peter place removes. It is a excellent transport connections in all directions. The hotel itself is neat and well-kept. The hotel Michelangelo is marvelously suitable for a city journey in Rome. The size of the hotel is in a good framework, altogether 179 rooms, also for wheelchair users fair, just like the elevator. It accommodated numerous nationalities during our stay, so that a mixed public was present. From young to somewhat older many hotel guests were present. In the morning a wonderful Frühstücksbuffet was ordered, everything which the heart desired, from the fresh roll up to yogurt (fruit or nature) fresh fruit, muesli, cereals and cakes, as well as small baking goods was everything available. The restaurant we cannot ... judge, since we always ate in the city, however we many guests in the restaurant feeding saw, therefore it must have been good. read more

The Michelangelo is a decent city hotel and due to its central location (5-10 minutes to walk to St Peter's Square) for a city break absolutely to be recommended. The breakfast left something to be desired, but it was the staff super-friendly and at the hotel bar you can still also late at night on the ship it enjoy a cocktail overlooking old leather. read more

Since we only 3 days with breakfast in this hotel “for sleeping” spent can we not too much on the very friendly staff report. English knowledge must be present. On the departure day us a very punctual shuttle service was obtained, which is cheaper than the taxi. This is with a shorter stay recommendable large saving of time - which was only somewhat not completely so satisfying that our room was on the journey day at 14 o'clock not yet. For 3 persons our room was largely enough well equipped, the bathroom in very good condition, very much clean of ... daily towel changes. Free safe at the reception. The rooms were not very largely, but however very comfortably and clean. The hotel is very central convenient and one from the balcony a very beautiful view of the Peter cathedral. (Peter place is only about 5 minutes far away). Also the bathroom was very clean in the great condition and. The water pressure in the shower was as enormous in most countries not, but in any case sufficiently. The hotel personnel (above all Guiseppe and the Portier) were very friendly and helpful. It gave a large Frühstücksbuffet with a very generous selection. By cereals, egg food, fruits, yogurt, ham ..., cheese up to the cake and croissant was really everything there which the breakfast heart desired! (for Italian conditions that is as well known unusual rather) although the rooms are somewhat badly soundproofed and are about loud Rome also in the night, we could not sleep really well and had noise problems. I can really only further-recommend this hotel! read more

The star hotel Michelangelo is from its kind a typical city and/or trip hotel. Cleanliness left within all ranges of the hotel strongly to desires remaining. In the booked “Booking. Com Preispaket” was inclusive the continental breakfast. On the guest structure it gives to report not much, since that hotel not even beginning way was written off. read more

Good hotel in a great location. It is easy to get from the Saint Peter's square and from there you can admire very good with a bus city off the open and also near the tourist sites such as the Colosseum, Spanish steps, etc. and then again with the bus driving.
