Beautiful small hotel directly at the beach located. Had no room with a view of the sea. Very small room for a lot of money with a view of the courtyard, the holiday happiness but no harm. Breakfast was very good, lunch and dinner is between October and April offered. If you are looking for a overnight accommodation place close to the beach without pool and frills is right at home here. Otherwise pleasant staff with German. read more

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, daily change of linen, breakfast everything was very good and tasty. Dream view of the ocean in an appropriate room, soundproofed rooms, there is currently construction site in front of the hotel, but it didn't bother us really. The only drawback, TV channels in German only ARD and ZDF. We spent a lovely getaway. Recommendation restaurant Dagvisser in the harbor. read more

The hotel is very nice a bit raised directly on the boulevard with view of the sea. The health resort is a few minutes walk. The house has a very nice atmosphere; the public areas are beautifully decorated with marine accessories; the dining/breakfast room had a direct view of the sea. Unfortunately currently exists (probably until 2013) a construction site on the boulevard; this is less a problem with the noise as with the access to the sea. At the time of our stay we had a bit of a walk, to get to the beach. And of course the ... construction and fences etc. constantly in the view. The place is a matter of Scheveningen. Apart from the health resort are the promenade and the sea front to the very ugly. Built. To top it off was quite run down the bridge. Really nice and it is actually only, if one moves past the ocean and behind is the place. The hotel Boulevard (as some other smaller houses also) stands out as very pleasant from the rest of the buildings. Annoying we found at the time of our trip the numerous free-range dogs on the beach; this is a Dutch specialty. Since the place didn't like, we are to some extent during the day in the not far away, Noordwijk drive, where the beach and the place clearly nicer.
Back to the hotel: we had a nice large room with two double beds and sea Republic. The quality of the beds and the amenities was for Dutch standards completely okay, cleanliness (including the bathroom and laundry/towels) as well. The miniature tv did not bother us.
The staff is very helpful and friendly, also to the children. A few scraps of English help in communicating further, but the hotel staff also some German. The breakfast buffet was fine and adequate. You can stay in the hotel in the evening food (there is only a menu with a few limited variant in the aggregation). We have tried once, and that was really surprising good! If you come by car: the parking spaces at the hotel were included, but only very limited hours. One must take into consideration therefore an additional parking fee for the (enough) public parking spaces.
Conclusion: nice hotel for a couple of days stay; with kids too. Scheveningen is not unlimited recommendation, but therefor the hotel nothing. read more

The hotel is located on the beach boulevard of Scheveningen. It has an overall good impression and is not a hotel block - it is really comfortable and it feels very well in the intimate atmosphere. We had a package including breakfast and found it was a perfectly adequate for us. The guests are mixed, mostly Dutch and German. During our holiday time there were both young people, as well as older and also families with children (smaller) - very good, varied mix, a hotel with a family atmosphere. read more

Hotel building right on the promenade, consists of 2 buildings built about 1920, all in all very well maintained. We had a double room with bathroom, for Dutch standards quite comfortable. The guests were mostly Dutch, but also German and French. Old mixed. read more

The location could not be better: Right across the street from the beach, separated by promenade, street and parking. The building totally differenciated, a pleasant contrast to the many concrete flats on well-equipped and promenade. It was a little older, which partly. Hallways, front desk, breakfast room - everything very cramped and old fashioned. Of course its appeal. Very thin walls. Mostly short stay in September, middle age and a few families. There were different room categories (see website) We lived in for a long weekend a "luxury double room with a partial ocean view" The room was kind of ... small, but enough for a short vacation. It seemed quite newly renovated, as the condition of the furniture was very good. Excellent mattress! Carpet, small TV with some international channels. Bathroom I found to be the surprisingly modern with large corner bath, shower, toilet and very small sink. Without windows, but with good functioning deduction. The "side seaview" was really side. you could see the beach through the very narrow window but not really good view. In the summer it can be booked hotel only with breakfast, which was fully sufficient, because of its close proximity is an enormous choice of beach pavillions, in which one could eat evenings. A small winter garden and an adjacent bar in the rustic, dark Dutch style are lounge and breakfast room. During the day you can hang out and drink or just from the windows overlooking the sea. If many guests, the rooms are simple too narrow. The breakfast was disappointing for us. Coffee, etc. only from the machines, much packaged (jam, honey, butter, partly bread) but unfortunately no wasetbins on the tables. 2-3 Dutch breads, croissants and rolls were not regularly replenished. The early morning dads older male staff was quite rude and acted as if he had the nachzufüllenden things myself. However, later he was replaced by the lovely ladies - and then worked better service. Room service was very good. Our conclusion: Not luxury, but quite acceptable except for breakfast. More for a short break. Important for smokers: As everywhere just outside, but they have a few rooms with balcony. Since you have stayed in September with drizzling rain fall storm on the small terrace of the hotel. read more

The hotel is centrally located on a dune above the beach. Among the concrete bunkers the older building very favorably. We had a large room with a sea view on the only a safe was missing. Bathroom with tub and had enough counter space. The towels were changed daily. The breakfast consisted of a sort of bread rolls, some bread, croissants, one sort of cheese and 2 types of sausage, jam and the usual Apfelstrop and chocolate splinters in Holland. Coffee from the machine, also water for tea. The orange juice was ok, eggs, if there was any mostly cold ... and death. For us it was adequate. However, there was only until 10 AM breakfast, which for us when the weather was already very early in the day. Weekend rates are many Dutch, so the breakfast room hardly enough. The hotel features 6 parking. Otherwise parking for a fee below the hotel. read more

When booking it seems to be a mistake. Somehow you don't have a reservation. Thank God we had the email confirmation. We had to keep the first night at another (larger rooms) and then move to stay. It is very loud. Ask for a quiet room. Otherwise they were all very nice and everything was clean. Breakfast was also great. I would stay there again. read more

On the weekend with 2 children and mother-in-law in the apartment above Very spacious enough, very good views, nice rooftop terrace with views of the city and the front of the hotel the hit with view on the beach All in all 4 open right toward the beach and you can hear the ocean waves. Great little quality cuisine - more than adequate. To be on the harbor in the "Haring prints Huis" something to eat - Kipling, plaice, no matter, is definitely delicious and fresh. Also the Sealife down the boulevard is great, I was there 3 times already ... in it The sharks, turtles, the rays, Piranha-feeding several times a day. Make sure you get to the beach bars Sofa's on the beach with large cushions hang out, used accordingly Children play in the sand -> look for bars, the kiddie playthings inside already there. Fire at night at the table snuggling ceilings, if that's too cold. Very fine and absolutely recommendable. Small and beautiful - the breakfast Plauze must not be full - much walk everywhere you can eat something, sublime. We got back. read more
