For a 3 star hotel i found it really very much maintained. Of course, it is an older property, but i am the cleanliness important and the was very good available. There was no mold etc. The distance to the beach was five minutes, but over the nice shopping could walk. The rooms were also big and beautiful with a balcony. The food wasn't barely great, but it is something for everyone. Also there are so many good and cheap food that you don't had to starve. The staff were also very friendly and helpful and spoke either german or ... english. I would to this hotel again go, if i go back to Burgas go. read more

Hotel was as clean without airconditioning it was OK.
Bed sheets and towels two times a week changed.

Food in the hotel should you prefer simply only disgustingly!

One should always before eyes hold oneself, which one for this vacation paid. I have to say it was OK for us. Hotel itself, cleanliness etc. Everything as a part of. But Caution for the food, in my eyes not enjoyable. Cleanliness in the 'restaurant' looks differently. 2 weeks diarrhea were the result...
But one is fast in the center and in tight 10 minutes at the beach.
In short, whoever expected more should be more pay, however the food, well Tastes are hopefully different,. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with the three star hotel Trakia garden in sunny beach in Bulgaria. The service was very friendly, with very good German. Received a nice, clean room with you., balcony and satisfactory. TV. Always had hot water for showering. On the whole a family atmosphere. To eat it different dishes to choose from at the buffet. Bulgarian dishes, soup, salad and dessert. You could choose the food, whether inside or the grounds. I used the pool not, but went to the beach. A nice, long sandy beach, and flat into the sea it, so that kids can ... play. beautiful overall I thought me twelve days and it was not boring there on. The bus service is two minutes walk from the hotel and the beach were it possibly five minutes (with abbreviations) nearby. einkaufsmöglichk it, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. to the city center you'll need to walk so ten minutes, while the shops on the away the time with longer can be. Information about the bus connections are available in the folder which tour operator, for me it was booking. As well one received from the service reception help other nice things, on the bus rides and tourist attractions. read more

The hotel is home to many regular guests from England, Finland, Ireland, Bulgaria. German guests, rather rare. It was cozy and rustic who loves, has been very well cared for. The average age of guests in mid-50 . As a single is very well cared for. The owners really tried very hard. This is not an anonymous number and get quickly got into contact. I will definitely stay here again. read more

For a 3 star hotel would have expected we more, as we have found. The staff was helpful, but overall, the unpleasant Leonie ambience of the hotel not. The decor of the room seemed very tired, the mattresses were worn, the bathroom was a permanently musty smell.
We had booked with breakfast, were but mostly eat out, as was the offer a disgrace. Not so much from the scope of the presentation and sightliness of the food and dishes. All in all a hotel, we on can definitely not recommend that. Unfortunately!

this is a nice size of a hotel its not to big and its not to small. i think there is about 150 rooms set in two main buildings.one has six floors the other has two.the hotels sits inside a lovely well kept garden.at the front is a nice safe family pool with poolbar, lots of free sun loungers and large lawn area for sunbathing.round the other end theres a nice garden restaurant with bar-bq area, there is also a kids play area.
hotel meals are served on the first floor, were you have a big ... choice of east and western types of food.both for breakfast and dinner. read more

I can only partially recommend this hotel. The food we skipped after the second day. That's what you get everywhere cheap and much better. In fact the salad tasted only. We had a room on the 6th floor, we had an air conditioning unfortunately not. Big mistake! Our fault. We had booked a double room with extra bed, this was a pull armchair. Not suitable for sleeping. Very narrow and shared sunbathing area. Very uncomfortable! The distance to the beach was bearable. So about a 10 minute walk. The beach was very clean, the beach bar Laguna Beach is highly ... recommended! Enjoy a massage on the beach! About 7 minutes to the disco, so no noise in the hotel. Many bars nearby! Conclusion: Bulgaria gladly again, then a bit closer to the beach, maximum of breakfast. With air conditioning. read more

The size of the hotel is ideal. About 150 rooms. divided in 2 buildings. were on the 2nd floor. Floor of the older building. The room was at the edge of the hotel with a large balcony. Just don't booked bed and breakfast. We also in the travel agency recommended for Bulgaria. We also tried only the first morning. Has both taste and with our Schlafzeiten not little mismatched. The supper was from other guests and poorly. The average age was totally mixed. Many families with many children. From the nationalities mainly British, a few Germans. read more

I spent ten days with my wife and two children (9 and 6) at the hotel this past June, and while I had to return to the States for work, my wife and children remained there and will until school starts. Pricing is set for a family, and while it seems to depend on how one books, I don't think I'd have been able to find the same quality for what I paid. I did go to some of the 'all inclusive' spots in town, and was pleasantly surprised to see that our amenities were on par with what the ... Germans and Scandinavians expect.
The Hotel Trakia Garden is ideally situated on the main street of town, right near a bus stop, making day trips an easy activity (to two quality water-parks, Nessebar, an old city-state that sticks out into the Black Sea, Bourgas, Varna, and other spots). The buses are extremely cheap and I never ran into any behavior or other issues that would make me prefer a taxi.
The beach itself, with the occasional topless euro (who probably go post-beach to one of the various clubs and discos in town), is white, the sea is clear and with enough waves for body-surfing but not enough to make Mom scared she'd lose the kids, and there are restaurants dotting the area at all budget levels.
The hotel itself is family owned and managed, and the matriarch of the family takes no 'guff' (her husband passed away a few years ago, and his picture still hangs) when staff is slow or careless. Her son Dmitr handles the bar and patio, which is no easy thing, and her daughter Zlatelina, fluent in Chinese after studying there for her degree, handles just about everything else. They're a happy friendly family, but not to a fault--problems, if any, are handled without delay.
I still get on skype with the family almost daily--there is free wi-fi in the lobby--and talk with my family and watch the bathers who prefer the hotel pool walk one way and those that prefer the 'real thing' (the sea) head the other. My wife is looking tan and relaxed, which was the point, and I believe most of that has everything to do with the hotel and its wonderful staff.
I did hear of some Brits complaining about the absence of 'rasher bacon' and 'pudding.' If you're a traveler that prefers to go abroad but have home appear there in the dining room, I'd suggest staying home. The hotel does a terrific job of assembling a buffet with items that appeal to the largest cross-section of their guests, but 'rasher bacon' is simply not obtainable in that city yet. I enjoy trying new things, and Bulgarian food was new to me, and my children (the daughter is picky) found what they wanted without trouble.
In any case, a wonderful stay and I'd recommend it to anyone. read more
