Huge, modern hotel with great amenities, full board and best location. Absolute cleanliness in all areas, even garage enough cleaned. Wireless internet should be in the price be included. Very many Hungary and croats under the guests, little german, is due to the travel time. A week later would probably have been better. Average age of the adults between 28 to 50. read more

    The restaurant is very good in small premises divided. At the table/ raumvergabe on ' family situations' taken into consideration, for example singelreisende and families in separate rooms set, is pleasant. The breakfast buffet and hors d'oeuvres buffet and dessert in the evening leave no wishes open. The main course, is based on the size of the room of the hotel, surprisingly good/delicious. No award-winning cuisine, and if you but also 't expect. The dishes were all european, the guests just adjusted. Staff was absolutely friendly and attentive, but always too quickly with the clearing. If you have four people at the table seat, each individual empty plates under the nose took them, even if the other table neighbors are still not finalised, is simply uncomfortable.

    The staff is always endeavored around friendliness, casual, of course and attentive. Foreign language skills were, as far as i heard, available/sufficiently, staff are probably mostly Hungary and croats? Room cleaning was very good, absolutely friendly cleaning staff. Complaints are basically taken care of immediately. Only complaint for faulty kräuterstempelmassage showed the staff from the spa dep. Very cooperative, but directly after complaining through the servicemitarbeiterin of the hotel promptly was taken care of.

    Gym in 5. floor very good. Sauna, indoor and outdoor pools flawless. Sauna infusion an experience (17 and 18 hours. Perfect hygiene. Towels in abundance. Massage department for the umpteenth time not satisfactory. Staff may not be qualified enough?

    The hotel is directly at the slopes, at the end a sachgasse, what little vehicular traffic and absolute peace means. Just 50 metres from the ski basement to the piste. Couldn't be better.

The falkensteiner cristallo is located in the perfect location in the middle of the winter sports region, the new part of the hotel is very nice and clean. It is almost everything as one it for its money can expect. Unfortunately you sometimes had the impression with details attempt extra to earn money. For wi-fi you should for one week over 30 Euro pay, for the families wi-fi there was then a special price of 60 Euro! For one week. Unfortunately work net but not in the entire hotel. For a hotel of this class a joke, please click a ... slice of the skiliftbetreibern cut, as soon as you the hotel left you have wifi free of charge. A sled to borrow by day 5 Euro! The garage with 8 Euro the day is not a bargain. If you with small children under 3 years, there is a baby-sitter service for 15 Euro the hour, steep but reliable. You can of of the child care not say, in this week disappeared a three girls without someone noticed. The door of the child care is not blocked and over stairs is the children immediately hotel pool (1.10 deep). In other families or hotel for children it is safe. Unfortunately i must also the criticism from other confirm, the water in the shallow pool is after 3 days too cold and the room temperature for a children's area too cold. At the shallow pool there are five loungers, the bar unfortunately not. Is really great the service at the restaurant and the bar, the skiing school deserves a extra praise! All in all a very nice holiday with a few downsides. It seemed unfortunately all a bit impersonal, it is probably the size of the hotel not to be expected differently, although i had already experienced differently. read more

It were great 3 days at the cristallo, very friendly staff in the service, in the beauty department, at the front desk, at the bar, everyone was very friendly and competent. The dinner was super and the breakfast a poem, every wish was fulfilled. The aperetifempfang we were warm the director and his deputy welcomes. Thanks to the team from the Hotel Cristallo for the amazing short break, we will definitely come back. read more

    In the room it was at night unpleasant warm, we had at least 2 times a night rise and fresh air! - the supposed thermostats served its purpose unfortunately not. The sofa in the room had plenty of stains-something like that we expect in a 4 star hotel and we stayed at 2 other falkensteiner hotels not yet seen

    Reception: the competence of the front desk is in our opinion partly very much to be desired. Prior to we were still very satisfied - the tel. Contact very professional seemed. Unfortunately turned out, that us however before prior information were given, then not were correct (rental of a sled with backrest for baby...). On site i had to as a guest then several times ask, that one for me with the local sports stores inquired, where i now so sledding can borrow-after our home left (because of the fehlinfo!) So if you are a guest already a wrong information to them, it would be in our opinion of course in such a hotel from solutions Cleaning staff : was perfect friendly and very hard! Really great! Service generally: for us really disappointing: unfortunately, we in our bathroom the bathing suits with departure forget. To find out, whether this someone found, i had to the next day 2 times call (the gap of around 3 hours), by the time i got in the evening recalled-we were then the your shorts uneasy (= for 10,-Euro fee) sent home! Err, 4 nights on 1.100,-Euro - and this 10,-Euro do not fall under customer service?

    Children's area: the ambient temperature in the children's swimming pool is much too cold if you wet, it is very cold! - further works one of the two showers not (also change the temperature of the water!) , as well as the 'water pump' not and it is definitely unpleasant, if you at the children's swimming pool no towels can borrow! Wellnessbehandlung 'luxury body' : its also unfortunate that i was from a young gentlemen cared for, the human very pleasant is, but for certain no educated employees for these purposes is. The scrub was very poor on the skin clapping-from a peelingeffekt could be no question (the only peelingerlebnis i could then even under the shower generate). The staff was no question subsequent package answer (what package, what ingredients), the package was likewise not entirely on the body spread - only after 'complaint ', that for example still the whole right calf without packing is, and the back, shoulder... We had the room kristall in the new building. Very nice spacious room. Kinderskibetreuung is good. Our son, 3.5 years, was in good hands and had fun. Very rich and delicious food with italian twist. Drinks go extra: bottle mineral water cost 4,10 Euro. We were very comfortable there. read more

We are mainly for skiing and relax with our two-and-a-half-year old son come. We look forward every year on the winter break. Also this year everything was to our greatest satisfaction. As well as in the last few years we used always the apartment self-catering, so we can to the food in the cristallo say anything, but already many a time is, that it should be. Guest structure is transverse patch. Germany, Slovakia, Austria, Holland, Italy etc. Tip : wifi free of charge from touristikzentrum use. Is not the fastest, but free. read more

    Staff is very friendly and helpful. Complaints are immediately accepted and removed. The nice lady from the room cleaning was perfect nice and very clean. Thank you very much! There our son under 3 is, he was not permitted in the child care. The love Kati as a nurse for daily 4 hours use. Our son found them directly personable ;-o with 15 €the hour is it of course not very little money and läppert then for a few days. However the hotel also wants to which deserve; o Children's area in the hotel is great. Our son is from bälleparadies not be better.

    Small gym, but we were skiing there. Spa perfect. Great treatments, but relatively expensive. Have the massages used. Was very good. Sauna area is also completely sufficient. Do not know, why some what to moan have. Me disturbed only, that some said, with bikini and bathing suit in the saunas to go. They should better go into the pool.

When the room there were no bathrobes and towels in the room. The sauna area was very cold and uncomfortable to stay in. 3 saunas ( included turkish) are for a four-star hotel not enough, so there was very much going on in the sauna area. There were no cups to drink in the sauna area refilled, and the outdoor pool were very cool temperature. The service at the buffet was completely hard. So the plates at the table stacked. The buffet was very beautifully built and the food variety was very diverse and excellent from the taste. read more

Beautiful and well-maintained hotel with fine cuisine and wonderful wellness area. Great location, possibilities for hiking and ski slopes on the doorstep. Great location, ideal for winter sports. Nice equipped family room:-) even dogs are welcome. Great hotel, can only be recommended. A big compliment to the kitchen, it was so delicious! read more

We have us in the falkensteiner Christallo felt really good. The staff are very friendly, our grandchild ( 5 years) was fascinated by the, falky-land ', a many thanks at Eva and Bianca for the excellent care the children, the food was tasty and diverse. We have the stay enjoyed. read more

The spacious complex consists of 129 rooms in several buildings. The main building was very well-kept and the rooms this stylishly furnished. But there is also still older part of the hotel, the 'haus am hang' calls. In this hotel will full board offered. At the time of our trip (September) were especially families with smaller children ( to the kindergarten) and pensioners present. read more

    The family room in the main building are a nice size and consist of a bedroom for the parents, a room with a bunk bed, a living room, a walk-in wardrobe with very lots of space for all things and a bathroom. The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. It is a safe, a small fridge a tv, the bedroom and the living room to a wall can be rotated, a hair dryer and a make-up mirror, as well as bath tub and shower. The room had a balcony. It was very well-kept, only the mirror in the bathroom had a corner one jump, but that didn't bother us.

    There's a restaurant with lounges. For breakfast and the dinner you get a certain table, for lunch you sit, where capacity is. For children there is a buffet, the adults received evenings a -course menu( with 3 different main courses to choose from) with salad buffet. Breakfast and lunch is always buffet. It was always everything to at the end and the service was very friendly and always paid attention for cleanliness and cleared also always immediately used plates away. For tips there was a piggy bank in the restaurant. The prices a drink were however very high. For a small apple spritzer you paid there 2,20 Euro and for a large limo 4,40 Euro. A bottle of water (0.7 liter) costs 3,90 Euro. The is in our opinion very exaggerated. We worried us the 2. the small shop on the katschberg mountain our drinks, so that we at least in the room cheap drinks had.

    The hotel staff were always very friendly and accommodating. Room was thoroughly cleaned. Towels changed on request, the cleaning lady was very friendly and were glad, when we on one day on the cleaning our room declined and only after fresh towels asked. You can get everything for babies and infants rental, from buggy, bottle warmers and kettle everything is there at the front desk available. Complaints we had luckily no, we got but unfortunately with, that the 'haus am hang' one child from the upper bed a hochbettes was like, as the space between mattress and barrier too big-the in our opinion not happen. Luckily the young is a light bruise. In the main building in the ' family rooms' that is not the case.

    There is a fitness room with panoramic views and weekly sports and comfort program, with gymnastics, aqua gymnastics, nordic walking and so on ( but we didn't use it). Large spa and water world. Pool ( inside and outside) with jacuzzi. Different saunas and relaxation rooms. Saw there all very clean and well-kept from, us was the water there in the pool a bit too cold! For children there is a private room with a pool and beautiful water slide with tunnel, there was also a children sauna. There is available also a wading pool and compress possibility for the very small. There is a kids' club, the TUI-staff run. You can board games to borrow. It is tinkered or played... Otherwise there is in the premises a small indoor playground with ball pit. In another rooms are itself a few slot machines (air hockey, pinball machines, car race) and a ping pong table. Outside is a small playground.

    The hotel lies on 1650 meters directly on the katschberg mountain. There are about 8 kilometer to the next place ( st. Michael). There, there are also options for shopping. Opposite the hotel is a pizzeria, which we didn't make use of, but it looked very inviting. Directly on the katschberg mountain there is also a small store, in the relatively cheap drinks or candy for children buy can. You can take the cable car up the hill or a carriage ( is however very expensive) make. For smaller children the' adventure playground' katschhausen (costs no entry) ideally, there is a riding stable, the children can for little money in the hall on ponies (a round 1 Euro). You can also go with a small train a trip to ponyalm in the mountains make.

At least once a year, I will now come already since 2006 in the falkensteiner cristallo. This vacation was my first alone without monitoring. During the prior I had concerns therefore. But when I the lobby to check-in walked in, I felt again at home arrived. For me is, and will remain, the Hotel Cristallo the best place for relaxing, be comfortable and enjoyment. The hotel is very beautiful and clearly divided. Even though it's relatively large, it looks manageable. The entrance and reception area was very welcoming and there is a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Guests are too many German, austrians, swiss, italians and the closer the countries. read more

    We had the family room crystal. The room is the layout was very convenient and nice. In the children's room there was a bunk bed. We got extra a rausfallschutz to the bed. Between children and parents bedroom was a walk-in closet with safe (free) In the living room there was still a sofa, and a desk. As well as the bathroom with a shower, massive washbasin and mirror and a bath tub. The toilet was also separately. From the room respectively condition and the cleanliness we were disappointed. On the sofa was the substance broken and it was just a blanket above put. The carpet had quite a lot of stains and with a small child on the floor it was very unhygienic. However left the cleanliness very to be desired. The curtains and bodenleisten were dusty and there was certainly are 1 year no longer was not deseamed. The beds were pristine and also the sanitary area was clean however as mentioned on doing everywhere the dust. However was only our room so dirty, the whole rest of the hotel area was tiptop clean and tidy. When we the first time in the hotel were, was also our room.

    From the catering trade one can really only positive reports. We were to 2. the cristallo (then still hubertushof) and were surprised how delicious and varied the food is. It leaves nothing to the imagination and there is something for everyone there. It gives daily a buffet ( appetizers and salads always buffet) and the main course is either as menu or for yourself. The kitchen is both meditarran, as well as typical for the country and also regionally. The quality and the taste were top-notch and simply a dream. For children there are every day a separate children's buffet with changing dishes. The dining rooms are in small stuben divided where around 10 to 12 tables are. For children is the ideal, since there weren't a large noise level is available and the children for the food not that much be deflected. We were with our waitress more than satisfied. It was always very nice and accommodating and always had time for children. Very much praise goes to vikoletta vals (hope the name is so correctly) The only star deduction are the drink prices. The hotel shall be deemed to be family hotel and there I think the prices extremely overpriced. A beer 0.5 costs 3,80 Euro. A Fanta 0.5 cost 4,20 Euro. The prices are overpriced and in my opinion it cannot be, that non-alcoholic drinks more expensive and with alcohol. It was good that table water free is offered.

    In the complete hotel are all of the staff very friendly and helpful. You get at the front desk answered all our questions and also tipps for excursions. At the cleaning of the rooms consideration was for sleeping children and they came to a later time again. Also really great is the children - and facilities for babies which one in the hotel free of charge check-out counters can (potty, bath tub, buggy and so on) so one must not so much with pack. reparturen were as quickly as possible taken care of.

    There is a large spa area with a pool, outdoor swimming pool and a wellness area ( we didn't use). Everything very beautifully designed and sufficient couch surfaces available. Children must the pool also use. For children there is a extra area with a pool, slide and a small wading pools. The water temperature was very, very warm (about 39 degrees) and therefore also ideal for babies for swimming suited. There is also a kindersaune ( sometimes even with brew) and a steam room. A kids club offers children from 3 years on program participate. But also smaller children the club for playing or in the soft play area play. In the garden there was a small playground. There is a weekly program with all activities good but not. It is ideal and something for everyone. Very nice was also evenings the children's disco. Our daughter was very from the small house, so great she found it.

    For hiking the katschberg ideal. However you have to consider, that you about 1600 meters and it is generally colder than down in the valley. The katschberg is relatively small and one runs on the one hand high (as is the katschberg) and on the other side it goes back down. Right on the hotel you can great hiking. If the area a bit of a explore would, one is on a car angewießen. Very nice day-trip destinations include the milstätter lake (circa 35 kilometer) and absolutely worth seeing is the building the hope in gmünd (circa 14 kilometer).
