Hotel hlangana lodge is for our stay in february in all respects more than satisfied.
Located in a large, well-kept garden is the small house arrangments guest house. All rooms have a small terrace and views of the well kept pool. The pool we did with temperatures over 35° during our stay much to estimate learned.
The rooms, as well as the bathroom are a good size, bright and decorated up to date.
Flat screen tv, safe and wi-fi are standard.
The staff was friendly and attentive. Every question, whether to the next supermarket or after a restaurant recommendation was ... happy to answer questions. A lady the front desk even has sufficient german.
We were 2 nights in the hotel, would be, if our schedule allowed but could have been like a couple more days. read more

We were only one night in the hotel hotel hlangana lodge, but felt very comfortable. The staff at the front desk was helpful and competent, the breakfast delicious and the car the next morning freshly washed. read more

We were on our Cape/Province/tour two nights here spent. Hlangana lodge was the one of our best accommodation during our trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we were even with a glass of sparkling wine greeted. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Within walking distance are several restaurants. The hotel has only one small downside, in the outdoor area you can hear the traffic from the nearby road, but it didn't really bother us though. Therefor the location is convenient, since the distance to some destinations is (Cango wildlife ranch for example, ostrich farm, Cango caves ..., Swartberg passport) read more

Bathroom was not clean found, but after our complaint immediately cleaned. Nice hotel in green surroundings, still convenient. Breakfast was very good. Good value for money. read more

The lodge is located in a beautiful garden area. Our room with private terrace had pool view and direct access to the garden. The hotel is gladly by tour operators for coach parties staying lines booked. The breakfast was okay, for the price we would have liked but more choice expected. The lies at the edge of town on the way in the direction general condition caves. read more

Unfortunately, I can't say too much at this hotel, as we were only here 1 night and have not seen all or used. When we arrived, they told us, we were the only guests at night. Great, a hotel just for us! We have it first on the large terrace with a view of the landscaped pool and later went to the restaurant 'Kalinka' (about 15 minutes away). This is, as well as the hotel, to be recommended 100%. Excellent food and a very nice atmosphere, right on the same road as the hotel, but after dark you could count ... the passing cars at a hand. The surprise bad but we saw the next morning. There was a buffet just for us ready, as if a 20-group headed for breakfast would come. Amazing, all together great, huge selection of fruit, cheese, sausage, bread, juices, salads, fish and, and. In addition one could select oneself or egg dishes, which were freshly prepared in the kitchen. We find, this hotel is actually more than 'just' four stars. As already mentioned in the headline, we have seen ten different staff, the mostly only for us were there. read more

Nice quiet area. We would stay there again. By car you can reach Cango caves and ostriches farms the good. Nearby there is an Italian restaurant. Here you get a ostriches steak. read more

We arrived in the evening and were very good. However, there was no possibility to eat at the hotel, we had to drive to Oudtshoorn inside. However, we were advised the hotel staff of restaurants and a table for us.HCLFHLHCLFHLThe breakfast was great.HCLFHLHCLFHLSport Possibilities? There was only one pool, but it was okay. The complex of the hotel garden and architecture is great. read more

Hotel in a quiet and safe location about two kilometer from the city centre and bus station. Hotel restaurant only open for breakfast. Many restaurants within walking distance (0.5-1 kilometer) reachable, as well as (1 kilometer) cheetah country. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms with terrace and garden view, nice garden. Highly recommendable travel agent Roeland Gabriel (Tel 0791054000)-( 10 hours) taegiger trip to ostrich farm, Kango cave, Swartberg pass, Prince Albert and Meiringnspoort with water fall only 55 euro. read more

Absolutely stylish accommodation in the ostriches city Oudtshoorn. Popular destinations such as ostrich farm or Cango caves cave are all easily reachable from here. Oudtshoorn itself offers good shopping and loads of restaurants. In this area, in particular the restaurant 'the colony' highly recommended. Impressive is the drive to Oudtshorrn the coastal town of George on the Outeniqua pass. read more
