the hotel Albrecht is a boutique hotel with only 12 rooms (of which 2 suites) in a converted villa nearby bratislava Castle. the hotel at the time of our visit was little booked (in the second night we were the only guests), the restaurant and SpA however the locals( especially upscale clientele and businesscustomers) more frequented. in Bratislava there is very many great hotels, I think the competition is here very large. read more

Unfortunately there is no elevator and we were on the second floor accommodated. our room was big enough and modernly decorated - the bathroom with bath tub and integrated toilet in black held. Annoying were the Grohe Designerarmaturen -with eingeseiften hands you could the water not more volume, since one line. the cleanliness was all right. The mattresses are a bit hard, the is however A matter of opinion. there were two window and only really thin Blinds, a problem, if you are used in the dark to sleep-even in the morning you woke up fast. Generally, it is quiet, you can hear just sometimes the orange bus speed.

the hotel has a very good, upscale restaurant with beautiful ambience. The prices are however very upscale. We twice in the evening really good eaten. The price for a 3-course dinner for 2 people inclusive water and two glasses of wine is about 80 euros. breakfast: unfortunately, there was no breakfast buffet, but you have to order a la carte. I personally Select call buffet. The prepared breakfast 'Albrecht' but was nice decorated and tasted good. You can get breakfast and Restaurantskarte before on the homepage of the hotel see, then there is no Überrschungen.

All are nice and friendly, the bar staff but somewhat arrogant. in the SPA was explained everything and one got also without any problems drinks eTC. no offer of help with the luggage (there is no elevator) is really for a five star hotel of course.

beautiful small spa with Finnish sauna, steam bath and pool. one hour SpAentry is in the room price included in the price, further 2 hours costs 15 euros per person extra. bathrobes you will find in the room.

the hotel lies quite off the beaten track in the hills, about 1.2 kilometer above the Bratislava Castle. In the area there are many villas and a school. on foot you need an estimated 45 minutes until into town - by car one is about ten minutes (the town has a very complicated traffic driving). You can also with the O-buses to the center drive. In the immediate area there is no infrastructure as for example shops etc. Advantage is, that when you arrive by car no parking fees must be paid, the can really beautiful the money- You can park on the guest car park of the hotel free.

The outside, but inside extremely attractive rather nondescript boutique hotel. Plus: lovingly renovated and redecorated, with a clear design. Very well appointed rooms with beautiful bathroom. Very nice spa. Fine dining with a small, but fine selection. Minus: Remote, walk into the city, especially back up the hill is less attractive. Not very warm and friendly staff, the partly somewhat unmotivated or over strained feel. read more

The hotel on arrival to our departure in every way taxi costs 30euro, it is its classification "Small Luxury Hotels of the World" absolutely after. The service is generally personally and very good, the food (top: The 9 -course New Years!) good quality, taste and the nature of the presentation on the plates excellent. The breakfast with great fresh, placed on the table salmon with fresh scrambled eggs (not from the tetrapack!) and salad very, very delicious, the croissants as in France. The choice is safe time type, as you don't eat salmon every day. A huge selection of national ... and international wines makes the choice torture, Pilsner Urquell draft beer tasted the best Caesars salad, we beyond the United States and have ever had. All in all: We will return as soon as possible, just for the food. The elegant pool area with sauna and other facilities is very well maintained, it could be a few more sun loungers. Only criticism: the room rate includes 2 hours of free spa use included, this is a bit small, at least in winter. Who stays more stays nice, but that is all we have to complain about here. It was a wonderful stay, even though there was too short, but we would recommend this hotel to everyone! read more
