Hotel Marriott Gateway on the Falls^{(4 stars)}

We had a Exercutive suit on the 31st floor with a great view over the Niagara Falls. I can only recommend to a high room. The suite has electric fireplace and flat screen in the living room, a very comfortable bed in the bedroom where the second flat screen. The bathroom had a separate shower and a whirlpool, only the second sink was missing.

We only tried the breakfast buffet. There were different pastries ( muffins, pastries), fruit, the obligatory scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and small pancakes. For about $17 is the buffet ok, whereby I can't think would book unless it is in a rate.

Friendly reception and House Keeping, only the breakfast staff prevented top rating. The rooms are very clean and you feel immediately.

The pool is about 10x4m located in the parking lot and does not a very inviting impression. It is the typical sterile USA hotel pool. More offers we looked at.

The hotel is not a new building but very well maintained. The restaurant has been newly renovated and the rooms are in good condition. In the off season rates in which you often get complimentary buffet breakfast is included. The age was mixed with almost exclusively vacationers.

Located on the edge of Niagara Falls overlooks the Horse Shö Falls. Downtown Niagara Falls is also within walking distance. The Visitor Center located right in front of the hotel and has a small train on a slope at 5 minutes away. walk to the Maid of the Mist 10-15 minutes.

We had a Fallsviews 2 Quenroom and were booked at check-in we asked if we for 50 C$ per night on a whirlpool suite on the 20th floor do want to upgrade. But we are in the room during the day, we gave a pass and had the 8. Floor still lovely view of the falls.

There is an American breakfast buffet, coffee/tea and juice is served at the table. Of course not expect the offer as it is common in European Sheratonhotels.

Hassle friendly check in was already 11 hours. The housekeeping service was without any complaints.

Pool and sauna optically not very inviting, the gym has a few sports equipment, but could be better maintained.

The hotel has about 500 rooms over 30 floors, the breakfast was already booking via www.booking.com were booked. The optical impression inside and out is excellent.

There are 2 Sheratonhotels Niagarafalls, one directly in the entertainment district near Rainbowbrigde, this upgraded to last house is located on the western edge of the town and has lovely unspoilt view of both cases. Below the hotel is the hotel's small funiculare up ( 2.50 C$ ) Table Rock ( journey behind the falls ) it is between 20 and 30 minutes.

We had a "Fallsview fireplace and jacuzzi suite" and it was DEFINATELY worth that much. The room was on the 30th floor with an overwhelming view of both cases! Hallway with a closet and small early-morning coffee pantry. A very large bathroom with whirlpool (resulting around 28C outside not really needed). A separate living room and separate bedroom with king bed and a direct view of the American Falls - very impressive at sunrise!!! Small living room with "fireplace". Two TVs - who needs that of the view! Air conditioning was absolutely necessary. The floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Canadian Falls are incredibly ...

The restaurant "Milestone Grill" was also breakfast room. The breakfast was excellent. Hot and cold dishes, fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, tea, coffee, juices, etc. The only downside for us Europeans: There was no bread, but only toast. On request it would have given bread, but we didn't needed with this offer. We have rarely seen such a excellent pineapple meal there.. And ketchup on the scrambled eggs for breakfast is now a canadian/American quirk, which we didn't really understand. The dinner at this "2-night package" had already booked, was delicious. Unfortunately was the steak cooked more than media, such as bestellt, ... The only down side.

The check in was so fast as never. Extremely friendly and accommodating. We speak English, so we had no language problems. Whether a different language spoken by the staff, we can't say. The room service was very good. The staff at breakfast so as the dinner was also very friendly.

I guess there is a pool in the hotel, which we looked at but in the short time not use.

The hotel was located above the Canadian Falls - or also called Horseshö If - at the end of the Fallsview Boulevards with a direct view on this. The hotel is very well kept and very very clean. It has 32 floors and therefore accordingly many rooms (exact number not familiar). Reservations were with and without breakfast. or book a "package" is a voucher for a dinner. The guests came from all over the world - from kids to retirees everything was represented.

It's located about 2 hours away by car from the airport Toronto away. The location right on the Horseshö if just gigantic! It is possible to see both cases, unless the room on one of the higher floors. Several restaurants, a small shop and one of the casinos are nearby. As well as all other attractions to Niagara Falls offered like that.

We had a large modern room with two queen beds, separate sitting area, desk, closet with a large flat screen TV (no international channels) and a great view from the 9. Floor of the falls. The bathroom was very small but sufficient. It had a toilet, wash basin, bath with shower (curtain). Outside the bathroom there was a shelve space with a mirror and outlets. Hair dryer, iron and ironing board and iron, and coffee were also available. Room and bathroom were cleaned adequately, but not more than that.

Friendly and hassle-free check-in. But for us zugesandtes telefax we were passed directly. We had a double room category "Fallsview" on the 9th. Floor of the hotel. For an additional charge of 50 CAD per night we could have a room high up with floor to ceiling windows. We loved the view from the 9. Floor absolutely served (see photo), since you spend the day in the cases. At reception we got a free safe-deposit box, located in the rooms no safe.

Modern and large hotel the Sheraton group. For an overnight stay on the Niagara Falls ideal. Mostly guests with short length of stay.

In the series of major resort properties of the Falls on the Canadian side it is the last hotel on the right hand side with a direct view on both cases. Get a room the category "Fallsview" rate plan, it was worth it. Like in the whole area around the Niagara Falls scrimmage large resorts and various. Guests can also in the immediate vicinity. To the city center with gambling etc. It was about 30 minutes walk. Unfortunately the environment around the cases makes up for a single amusement park and we didnt like that at all. In a half up to a maximum of all day falls to see enough. Parking facilities directly at the hotel, but you have to pay. alternatives, there were but anyway. Important: regularly k fireworks at the falls. These are of the rooms was not too as they see hidden from the neighboring hotel! Therefore in advance.

Nicely renovated. Wall-to-wall window room was very impressive.

We didn't use. In the immediate vicinity diverse. Restaurants and fast food joints.

The hotel was recently renovated. So it is not new, but everything is very clean and nicely presented. So, it is the price of the location - perfect price/quality. Unspoilt panoramic, stunning views of both cases. Also from the lower floors.

Last hotel above Tablerock. Unspoilt panoramic view of both cases. Direct access to the Tablerock over a small elevator, otherwise walk 10 minutes. overall. Not in the crowded is located in. No need to go with the view on the observation tower.

We had booked a room type, the us on the 8th floor. Floor could have been put up. We eventually got stuck for a from 20 Canadian dollars an upgrade to one of the two rooms in 32 . Floor. The room had a private entrance, a kitchen, a small living room and a generous bedroom with king size bed and a fantastic view of the falls. The bathroom was next to a shower also a whirlpool tub. As there are only 2 suites in the 32 . Floor, there is no direct access by the elevator to the room. It must be from the 31st floor a staircase overcome. For that it was an absolute privacy.

The check-in was fast and uncomplicated, the ladies at the reception very friendly. The hotel is a long time -hour BCH for those of us who don't quite know what you take.

The location is what makes this hotel special. From almost every room has a view of the falls.

The hotel is set back off the attractions on the hill. To the famous "Maid of the Mist or to the "Journey Behind the Falls" is a bit of a walk to buy or the pay Incline rail. On This last must especially in high season with long waits can be expected, is at 8pm powered.
