The hotel is in a very good and well maintained condition. Everything were constantly kept clean, nowhere is a Schmuddelecke to find.
The best however is the friendly and warm atmosphere in the hotel, just to be comfortable.

In September 2012 we have a 2-week vacation in the ocean-beach and were very satisfied.
The whole hotel looks very well kept.
Ocean beach has approximately 30 rooms and offers overnight stay with breakfast at. The breakfast buffet consists of breads, daily changing boiled eggs or pancakes. 3 types of sausage, 2 cheeses, fruit, tomatoes, juice, muesli, yoghurt and so on
1 times a week there was a greek bar-B-queue for a fee offered.
The other guests in the hotel came too many from Germany, between and years old, hardly any children. read more

Is really recommendable. If I go back vacation on Thassos do, I'm sure choose this hotel again. Except the announcement in the description, it W-LAN in the room there, everything was allright had. That was however also not tragic, in rezeptionsnähe was the then available. read more

Who is leaking for peace and quiet is right at home here! No animation! Very peaceful area! Very recommendable are the taverns'green sea', 'captain', ' magic coast! Delicious food with great view of the see... We will be back, jamas! read more

The hotel lies in a quiet area. In the middle of olive trees hedging and close to the beach ( approximately 250 meters on foot).
Guests came too many from Germany, Austria. But also greek guests and other nations were suburb.
At our time (off season) apparently also good mood. Mixed guest structure, older and younger couples, families with children or small children.
Had hotel only booked with breakfast included, what more than adequate was.
Hotel has about 30 rooms. Consisting of a newer complex and a older part. The rooms spanning 3rd floors/ level
We were in the middle ... floor, in the older part of the hotel accommodated.
However with a view of the sea booked, but because of the distance to the sea and floor, rather limited to see. read more

It was a great vacation in a beautiful hotel, the German visited. The beach directly at the place is very small, but if you have a small piece direction Golden Beach is it will take a wide and beautiful. Also for the 5. time in a row was our hotel ocean beach just top. The hospitality that Stavros, Koula and in our time of vacation in the hotel were brother owner Dimitri a showing is simply positive worth mentioning. Even with a disease, which I this year einfing, one is in good hands here. First the doctor called, the then to the hotel came, and as I am not better went this was several times by telephone and got me Dimitri the 12 kilometer away limenas to the doctor dangers. In the hotel is everything is great clean. The ... rooms are daily except Sundays cleaned. Towel - and the sheets were changed three times a week. Also the breakfast was again delicious. If you are not on mass tourism and animation is respectively it does not need is right at home here. Wishes and requests almost always ( as long as possible) fulfilled. One can recommend the bbq evening, the Tuesday take place. read more

Conclusion it was a successful vacation overall! The hotel was great (clean, friendly staff, adequate breakfast) the Golden Beach exceptionally beautiful and the sea clear. For us was especially important, that the hotel close to tavernas and shopping, and entertainment facilities are, but nevertheless quiet at night is. This point the oacen beach to 100%. In our opinion it has the perfect location. In 5-10 minutes is at the beach, as well as in the tavernas and the 'party'. You through an olive grove to the beach. Further one at the beach to the left goes, the more beautiful will ... the sandy beach. At the beach beach chairs for a fee rents (you have to just a drink buy and may for two beach chairs with an umbrella the whole day use)
Further we had a great day on the boat spent. These we have our rep and the complete island from the sea on foot.
Alltogether it was a really great holiday. We would return to the ocean beach. read more

We are for a few years of regular guests in the hotel and can again at any time say, everything great.

This was our first time in ocean beach. The hotel is very well run. We stayed in the Annex. The room was big enough, bright and friendly equipped and was very well cleaned. The bathroom was new and tastefully equipped. The whole area was very well-kept. The breakfast was quite okay for those price. The owner is very willing to make an effort. We had for example a flat tire on our rental car. Stavros is immediately on the phone and call Reifenhändler (it was Sunday). Then he is with the tires to the dealer and had it repaired. If ... so what happened in a huge Hotel interested in the no people. Will definitely come again! read more

We were now for the fourth time in a row at the ocean beach. Here everything simply fits. This year extension with a further 14 finished rooms didn't have any negative effects, compared to previous years. On the contrary. Hotelier and wife, and the staff was, always had an open ear for their guests. Service and friendliness was capitalized here. We had the luck to live in room number 314. A beautiful room (like all other new Superior rooms also) with a huge balcony and view of both the sea, as well as the mountains. Shower and bathroom was very ... large. The buffet breakfast is plenty of space and it is so pretty much everything what we expect from a buffet (the exception of scrambled eggs). At the pool there were sufficient free new beach chairs and umbrellas. Coffee is even brought to your beach chair. Sometimes you had the pool all to ourselves for itself. About 500 meters in the distance, the sandy beach is nature but still nice. also here there were enough beach chairs and umbrellas which one this year for two drinks (two coke 0.5 liter = three euro), which were also still, could use it. All restaurants we visited this year have had delicious food on offer. Our favorite was the green sea, by twice on Thursday could enjoy Greek live music. What you missed under any circumstances is offered by the hotel bar-B-que. For 7 euros gives it delicious things with side dishes until closing. We were lucky enough to enjoy the day during our stay 17 this three times, whereas the third quite late and damp ended. We can say only this time again thank you for a wonderful holiday in ocean beach. We will see each other again in 2012 read more

And the continuation of the holiday in May 2011 it was again not be beat! Just great! In the selection of the staff had Stavros Koulo extensions and a good hand. We will be back on line and to thank for the beautiful hour at the bar, the absolutely nice service, helpfulness and friendly and nice hospitality, we (as a former much traveled) in Europe have never experienced!
Conclusion: a vacation without risk ... with satisfaction guarantee. And so it will be no surprise, that the author of this Quadrennial September lines for this third stay (since 2007 the eighth time) plans. Perhaps still worth mentioning, already planning for 2012 that the run for at least two stays.

The good reviews on holidaycheck led us to spend our two-week vacation in Hotel Ocean Beach on Thassos. We were not disappointed. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Koula, the hotel owner. The hotel is very familiar and you feel totally at ease with everything.
Stavros (the husband of Koula) always had time for you and was always present. The damage to our air conditioning in the room was directly taken care of.
The whole hotel area was wonderful, clean and up-to-date we have booked a room in the new building/room and got 314. A very large, wonderful room ... with a huge round bed, LCD TV with three German programs, two two seats sofas and a table, fridge/mini-bar, modern and large bathroom with hairdryer, as well as a huge balcony with basketwork furniture (two chairs and a table). Also on the balcony there was a, mounted on the wall, pullout laundry drying rack, so that you can dry your bathing clothes wonderfully.
The view from the balcony was fantastic: left side view of the sea, straight into the olive groves and right on the mountains. The rooms were cleaned every day except Sundays. There was a large terrace where you could eat breakfast. The breakfast was for Greek standards very versatile and plentiful. There were two different kinds of sausages and cheeses, various cereals, tomatoes, cucumbers, Feta cheese, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, juices, tea, coffee, several kinds of jam, honey, cake. It was always refilled, so that there was never something missing. Elvira, the good soul of the hotel, made sure in the morning that you had a good start to the day.
The pool is based on the number of rooms (30) quite large and never crowded, so there was no morning rush, in order to get a sunbed. There is a pool bar, where you can get drinks and ice cream, in the afternoon from 13:00 o'clock you can also have something small to eat. In the afternoon there were homemade cakes (delicious) with a nightcap for 3,95 euro. Unfortunately during our stay there wasn't a barbecue because too few guests registered. A shame, we would have really liked this. On
Thassos there are very many good taverns. Some of them are directly on the beach, just amazing. We ate very good everywhere. The island of Thassos you should explore in any case. We had a rental car for ten days and have seen a lot. We loved this hotel and the island felt very comfortable and would spend our vacation there again at any time. read more
