Lodge with six lovely Canañas and a fantastic view of the mountains, a little out of the way from Putre (ten minutes). Varied breakfast and, for coffee enthusiast, with 'real' coffee. Great possibilities for excursions to the national park Lauca, as well as small hikes around town. read more

I stayed in many different hostels while I was in Chile; but this was by far the most relaxing, peaceful, scenic and cultural place I'd stayed at. The gentleman who owns/runs it is extremely knowledgable and kind-hearted. He helped us organize bus times and accommoodation in other cities/towns we were visiting. The surroundings are the most beautiful I've seen. The walks you can go on are fantastic just be prepared to get out of breathe with the altitude. But it is definitely a once in a life time experience that I so hope I can enjoy again someday. read more
