The room was good, I only hated the pillow haha, it was so hard.

and the staff was absolutely amazing.

Special shout out to the entertainment staff ! I just love them all, Tito, Dasha, Mustafa, and all the others, great people !

Rooms are good and perfectly sufficient for a holiday hotel. Good size and although I can understand some people saying they are a bit dated, they were spotlessly cleaned every day so what more do you really need? If they were decorated 3/4 times a year then the price would go up accordingly. The TV doesn't really cater for the English, one channel I think, but you don't go on holiday to watch TV do you? Scart socket on back, so take a dvd player if you do :) Found it strange that there was a kettle but only tea and no coffee but plenty of help yourself coffee machines around the resort so not a major problem.

Firstly, let me say, you will not go hungry! However, I did find the food a bit repetitive but most concerning was that the food always seemed just luke warm. There is a microwave near the bread section though and I just nuked it for two minutes and problem solved but that may not be okay for everyone. Don't think reviews saying the food is bad are fair, if the food is not to your liking, then mention it, but don't indicate that it is bad. The food is different but was tasty and always cooked through. The lunchtime snack bar was however always hot and fresh and its fried chicken would compete with KFC any day :) There was no meet and greet and seat in the main restaurant which did make it a bit of a free for all to get a table at busy times. Best feature for me is that the animacion staff were allowed to eat with you, something I've never known before and this was great for getting to know all about the people, the hotel, where to go etc. The Italian restaurant was superb, a-la-carte table service and cooked to order. The all inclusive drinks were great, beer as nice as I've known in an all inclusive resort and the selection of spirits were of a reasonably high standard. Wine was dire, I'm not a connoisseur but enjoy a glass of red but this was like ribena with two spoons of sugar in it!

Have read reviews that said staff were unfriendly but couldn't disagree more! Yes, English is not spoken widely but the staff can not be accused of being unfriendly. Those that did speak English certainly made the extra effort to make up for it. I was even being tought basic Turkish by a couple of the staff ... admittedly I was terrible at it but enjoyed the challenge. Rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. Only scoring it down a mark because the restaurant service could be very slow at times and on one occasion we had finished our meal and still not received a drink. Maid server, rooms were spotless and cleaned every day.

This really is the hotels signature!! The assembled animacion team is the best we have found in an all inclusive hotel and trust me, we have stayed at a lot of them! From the minute you get up, they will have you involved in darts, rifle shooting, archery, football, cocktail games etc. Great way to meet fellow guests but they will not hassle you if you prefer to relax and keep yourself to yourself. In between activities they will come and sit with you and have a chat about absolutely anything and are never in a rush to leave. I've stayed at all inclusive places before where the anamacion is poor because they do not need to keep you in the hotel ... the pre-paid food and drink does that anyway! This team were exceptional and I can't remember everyones name (apologies t those I miss out) but have to give big ups to Super David, Kenan, Sexhart, Mustafa and "Sexy" Maria. We weren't involved with the kids club members but we heard great reports about them as well. And now to the evening shows which were brilliant. A different theme each night and plenty of audience participation which always brings the best out of everyone. Personally, I've seen enough drifters tribute bands and chinese jug jugglers to last a lifetime. Every night, the entertainment is performed by the anamacion team and if you want a good laugh, then make sure you don't miss any of the shows. The most pleasing thing is that you can see that the team really enjoy their work and that has an infectious feel to the holidaymakers. There are lounge acts playing as well for those who prefer a more chilling evening so all angles really are covered. The pools are plentiful though the water was well cold when we were there which is not the hotels fault, just the time of year and there is a nice warm indoor pool. The water slides are great fun for both the kids and adults and the games room helps keep the kids well entertained in the evening.

The hotel interiors and exteriors are all spotlessly clean and modern. The main guests would be German and Russian and the hotel do tend to cater for this but please be assured that the English are in no way ignored. Wifi is free but I actually found that a bit of a pain because it was overloaded a lot with all the smartphones and when you really needed it, it could be a bit of a pain to get logged on. Would suggest the hotel offer a premium paid service in addition to the free wifi for business users / urgent requirements.

Grounds very well spread out, hotel was full why we were there, but never felt over crowded. Basic shopping facilities on-site sufficient for holiday with plenty of shops nearby.

I think we must have had one of the best rooms in the hotel, glass fronted, sea-view. We couldnt have asked for more - but we got it! a topped-up fridge every morning - tea and coffee, water and beer if you wanted it. On top of that we got a care pack - with needles, thread, shower cap, nail files etc.

We loved the food, from the typically mediterranean choices, to specialist Turkish cuisine. The Ottoman restaurant was particularly enjoyable. Many people complaion about the food, but there is so much choice, that if you dont like something, there will certainly be something you like somewhere. I didnt poarticularly like the brain salad, but then again, it's not for everyone. I saw quite a few people tucking in, so it couldn't havebeen that bad. Some reviews have criticised what was available for all-inclusive, however, it must be remembered, that there are some sole traders that have "pitches" at the hotel, they are not included in the hotel's offers. There were nuts, crisps available all-inclusive, but if you wanted candy floss (cotton candy) or popcorn, thenyou had to pay. Not a hotel problem as I see it.

The service was great, when you consider the number of people that were staying there. I dont think i had to wait ooo long for anything, anyway, who's in a rush on holiday? I particularly liked the fact that service came with a smile. Thanks to the smilers: yusuf and Turgut (the comedy duo - great!), Tugce, Bahar, Kerem, Mr Suleyman (senior), Ugur, Eyup, Adnan ... any many many more!

Many people have written about the hotel, the facilities and what you get from Sherwood Breezes Resort. However, for me, what made my holiday far more than anything else was the people. I was so impressed with the friendliness and the way the staff in all departments treated my family, that we have already decided to go back again. I have been abroad many times, and I have to say hand on heart, this is the best holiday I have ever had, no mean feat when I have seen many wonderful places. I would like to say a personal thank you to everyone of the staff at the Sherwood Breezes and if I wrote all the names down, it would probably fill the whole page. The bar and restaurant staff were so friendly, we were on first name terms with most of them by the end of our stay. Notably, Ms Bahar, who always had a smile, Mr Adnan was my jocular sparring partner at lunchtime and my Turkish teacher Mr Kerem, so polite. I want to mention one team in particular – the animation team – a hard working team of entertainers under the tutelage of the hard-working Mr Egemen. From 10 am in the morning until 12:30 at night, they work tirelessly and with genuine concern for the happiness of the hotel guests. During the day they see to the recreational needs of the guests – shooting, archery, darts, water aerobics, gym and step aerobics, cocktail games, volleyball, soccer – you name it! – Dasha’s water aerobics was particularly enjoyable, as was Marina’s morning gym and aerobics class (also taken by Vika – both of whom are professional dancers). I’d give both activities 10 out of 10. The Kid’s club was very popular with our daughter, who took a particular liking to Nastiya, who was fantastic and so caring and gentle with the children. The kid’s club also featured Mr de Sandos (the mini disco clown), Mr Mustafa etc. Of course, the activities were not just for the ladies, Messrs and Serhat often compared the cocktail / pool games alongside the rest of the team. I particularly enjoyed the cha cha dance at the end. One team member of already legendary status at the hotel is Mr David – a man who demands energy no matter what you are doing – Darts are his forte, though. There were activities scheduled all day. If this isn’t enough, the team are ready in the evening for the mini disco and then the evening entertainment: - whether comedy shows, dance shows, Mr and Mrs, King and Queen of Sherwood etc. It amazed me at the activity that this team engaged in and I was left wondering when they had time to practise for the evening shows. Under the guidance of Ms Marina – the ladies of the team: Marina, Vika, Nastiya and Dasha gave wonderful dance performances as well as some laughs during the comediy programmes. Mr Messrs is a great street dancer and I defy anyone to not laugh when Mr Serhat, in his frock and wig, gives you one of his “well here I am” type grins – Magic! The funny guys Messrs (MC) Egemen, Sandali, Boyka, Kenan, de Sandos and Mustafa will have you roaring. Just one word of warning – after 9:30, it is definitely adult time (on comedy nights), so if you don’t want your children to see the occasional adult content, you can choose to keep them away. However, I was so impressed by my experience at the hotel, and in particular, by the animation team, I would like to ask the hotel management to not split up any of this team – they all work amazingly together. I have never had such an enjoyable time for a long long time. To the management of Sherwood Breezes Resort, I thank you for a wonderful holiday, we will se you next year, but please try to keep the same staff together – they have done you a credit. Well done everyone for a fantastic time.

Well, I must admit when we passed hotels such as the concorde, and initially drove up to the Sherwood, we though, oh well. but that's as far as it went - when we got inside we were not disappointed at all. Some people thought that the lift service was slow, I didn't - simple as that. It's all a personal point of vierew in the end.

The hotel had it's own section of the beach, which was great for the activites (see below) and for just lazing around. he location is ideal for gettuing to Antalya - between 20 minutes (a good day) to around 1 hour (on a particularly busy day) by dolmus. That's not bad at all. The gardens are beautiful, and are well maintained by the garden staff and my daughter loved the resident tortoise - I think she would have liked to take him home.

The room was of a good size with a 6 foot by 6 foot bed and 3 seater settee along one side and tv, fridge, dressing table and kettle along the other. There is a fair selection of fruit teas but no english tea or coffee. You can get english tea (I don't drink tea but I am told the one in the yellow packet is the closest to english) and nescafe/espresso etc. from a machine beside the tower bar at any time day or night but it would better if it were available in the room. The only english channels on the TV are 10 (cartoon Network) and 11 (BBC World News) but that was not a problem as I was only in the room to sleep or have a shower. Rooms are all air conditioned and the room safe has the instructions written on it, select a 4 digit number and press # safe locks. Same routine every time you lock it. It says 'closed' then displays the number so you can double check you put the right number in. Minibar topped up daily no charge. We could see the beach and the sea without getting out of bed! The building can't be very old, just a few years and seems to be in good condition. There is an extention of the rooms telephone in the bathroom so you can answer it whatever your circumstance. Very few rooms can access the wifi, even in the reception area it can be dificult to get access if lots of people are connected.

The main restaurant was accessed from the reception area, there were tables both indoor and outdoor. Tables were cleared and any spillages cleaned almost instantly. Food was well presented, of high quality, multiple choices and continually replenished. The service was very good and even at the busiest times you would only have to wait a matter of minutes for one of the staff to check if you required anything or to clear the used crockery etc. If you raise your hand they appear even faster. They are quick to pick up on habitual requirements and if you sit in the same area at the same time 2 consecutive nights you may find the table set with your usual drinks on your arrival the 3rd night. A couple of euro tip on the first night and it will be reserved for you on the 2nd night. If you prefer to eat later you may find some of the dining areas sectioned off so that they can get it ready for the next sitting. In addition to the regular foods they have 'themed' nights where they will have speciality dishes from Turkey or some other country (chips are always available). There is an outdoor restaurant between the beach and the pool areas for during the daytime. The food here is mainly fast food such as burgers, pizza, chicken and salad. There is also a lady here making flatbread, it is amazing. She will make one to your particular specifications if you ask her (you will often see her in the main restaurant in the evenings. There are 2 A La Carte restaurants, one Turkish and the other Italian. A single visit to one of these restaurants is included per week of your stay. We booked the Turkish for our first week and the Italian for the second. You have to book these in advance. They say you have to see the person on the guest relations desk between 9 and 11 each morning but we booked our Italian meal one afternoon so they do not always stick rigidly to the rules, depends how busy they are I suppose. It is best to book early as there are a limited number of places each night. We enjoyed both meals, each being special in its own right. I almost forgot to mention there is also a bar at the outdoor theatre that does a wonderous selection of cakes etc. The main bar is the Tower Bar, entertainment is usally some vocal act from 10:30 to 11:30 each night. The disco starts at about 11:30 and ends around 02:00 am and is located on the lower level just along from the Italian restaurant. Just in case you are hungry after expending your energy dancing, the cafe at the side of the disco has a reasonable selection of hot and cold food plus fruit etc.

All the staff are friendly, polite and eager to assist. As I have said previously the hotel guests are multi national and it would be totally unreasonable to expect each member of staff to speak every language. Rooms were cleaned daily and in addition you were also provided with a card to collect beach towels that can also be changed daily. We did not take advantage of the laundry service but were aware it was available. The hotel has a resident doctor but again we did not require that service. There is also an apothecary (chemist) across from the hotel and they can diagnose and provide medicines that would require a prescription in the UK. As we did not have any children with us we had no rquirement for the childcare services, we did however observe the Staff from the 'mini club' interacting with the children, encouraging them to join in lots of different activities from drawing and painting to horse riding (I think the horse riding cost extra). All the children seemed to be enjoying themselves and the parents seemed to appreciate the staff.

There is something going on all times during the day. The Animation Team provide guests with the opportunity to try and develop new skills. Playing darts, Firing air rifles, trying to be better than Robin Hood with a bow and arrow were just three of the things you could try each day. Loads of aerobic and other excercises like water gymnastics are there if you wish to try and fight off any potential weight gain from the endless food availability. There is also a well equiped gym (I actually used it once). There are pools everywhere, adults only, paddling, one with waterslides for tots and another with slides for bigger kids (including adults). There is also a raised pool above the pool area bar.

We went to this hotel pre-season and were not expecting many of the hotel facillities to be available. We were totally amazed to find the hotel had not reduced any of it's services. The hotel was totall 'all inclusive' which included the mini bar in the room! The mini bar was initially stocked with a variety of beer, soft drinks and water but you can arrange for more or less of any item.The hotel has 9 floors and a very broad selection of rooms. Our room and the rooms of other guests we spoke to were very clean and the towels/linen were changed regularly. The guest were from all parts of europe and many of the staff spoke several languages and if the did not speak english they quickly found another member of staff who could. The mix of nationalities at the hotel enhanced the 'holiday atmosphere'

The hotel had its own beach front with complimentary loungers in abundance. After walking the length of the beach in both directions we considered we had selected the best hotel as they made the effort to keep the beach clean and litter free at all times (the beach has been awarded 'Blue Flag'). Around 30 minutes from the airport you don't waste any of your valuable holiday sitting on the transfer coach. The hotel staff will provide you with details of excursions and even arrange them if you wish. However, there is so much to do at the hotel we decided to stay there apart from a visit to Antalya Old City and a bit of shopping locally. To get to the Old City you can get a 'Dolmush' (I think that is how to say it) - mini bus number LC38 for 1.75 Lira (about 70p). Whether you go 100 metres or all the way to Antalya it is the same price. You can flag the bus down almost anywhere and it stops quite frequently. It takes around 50 minutes to get to Antalya on the Dolmush. There are shops immediately opposite the Hotel but we found better bargains in the bazaars about 15 minutes walk towards Antalya. Walking to these shops gives you the opportunity to look at some of the other hotels.

Room was completely sufficiently with air conditioning, tv, safe, mini bar, everything in the price in it. Bathroom was also enough we have nothing to moan about. The next time we however will no lateral sea view book there on this page of the hotel the anlieferstraße and mornings was very busy and thus noise. (was only with open window to hear)

We were with the food very satisfied only once we had cold raw sprouts the really was nasty apart from that everything was great very tasty and warm! For drinks were always provided. Unfortunately, there was still no season was quite much closed but that was and prior to clear and by the travel agent told that's why no negative rating.

The waiters was always friendly and willing to help, everyone understood german and most of them could also speak german.

For leisure facilities was ample relaxation the entertainment team was also always for one there. For the whole day there is a small games and competitions by the entertainment team were taken care of. (table tennis turnament, rifle and archery, darts and so on.) Every evening there was a performance where sometimes spectators participated, i myself was once with on the stage and it was very entertaining. However, it was partly too importunately if the entertainment team people for the evening searched and not found. But all as a part of! Here a special praise goes to super David it was very funny in the hotel. To the pool you couldn't say much because the outdoor pool only just got ready for the summer and so was not available. The beach was clean and enough chairs were also available shade metal at the beach was very rusty but will probably still ready for us. The pier into the sea was not yet developed. The us but also prior to said we hoped the it was ready is however therefore no deduction in the review. The indoor pool was clean and alright for the cold season where inside a bit small. The jacuzzi the rückendüsen not and a little cold.

Us had the hotel really really enjoyed the size was for us just perfect. The hotel and our room was always very clean kept. The food on-site left nothing to be desired we felt good all-round. The average age near our stay rather high the majority of the guests were german pensioners which did not disturb us however.

The hotel had a very good location to the city Antalya you can good and quick to reach. In the town Lara there are a lot of shopping center which we however not visited and nothing further can say. Otherwise was in Lara everywhere built what we didn't like so one sun drawback.
