The hotel consists of altogether 5 hotels (4 times 4 * and 1 times 5 *). The 5 star hotel is the royal area or which it should be. Under royal we understand something else as well as many other guests. The clean (daily freshly cleaned ) rooms are really big, everyone has in the junior-suite its own jacuzzi. Which of course is great. But you should always before traveling on it refer to the organizer, the one in the last floor, thus nobody can the balcony ' rigid ' ☺ Wi-fi was available in suites, the almost always worked. ... Very few russians however therefor many canadians, unfortunately, sometimes the Carribean like 'bugger '. Sometimes you think: 'you here on malle?' read more

    The rooms are really big, clean and equipped with everything that you need over there or also not. Even a iPod-station was in the room available ☺ The mini bar was again and again filled with n. alcoholic drinks. The alcoholic beverages will 1 time weekly refilled.

    There is 13 restaurants, where the japanese is the best. When the italians (portofino) we stood up and left. So a really disgusting pizza we never eaten. Since our honeymoon trip was, we also had a honeymoon dinner, you can really do. You sit with other people at the table and has no privacy, which you but with so what wishes. The dishes all very nice on the plates are served. The eye eats with, however, some food wasn't enjoyable or cold. We are in the el jardin breakfast, it was quieter in the morning and in the evening almost always the kabah (buffet restaurant), it was always good. You could choose what you wanted to eat and we were directly asked, what you drink wool. The typical mexican food does not give it here. Chili con carne, this is a joke. Tastes even from the maggitüte better. Mexico is definitely not a poor country, a cleaning lady deserves as much as in Germany a hairdresser. Outside from the hotel should for example a bag of chips cost 8 €costs. Amazing!

    Well, for a royal area offers this hotel little service. Sometimes you in the el jardin at dirty tables' places' and not taken care of. If you 'complaining' you on german said where shitty. With criticism can one avoid. The friendliest service was the nice woman at the royalstrand, otherwise you were always greeted but rather forced.

    If you stay in the royal area, has unfortunately not directly the royal beach in front of you, but you'll have to either on foot at the beach or to the lobby (which is not far away) and with the gulf -Cars again let about 10 minutes drive. At the royal beach have still not sea view really sun, beautiful small beds but who wants to the whole vacation in a bed without sea view, etc. Thus one goes on the beach and obtains a lounge chair. Towels gives it plentifully at the bar. The pleasant service, the royal area, is really nice and the every day excellent ☺ The airport Cancun is about 1 drive hour away. All hotels are directly at the 'highway', where one however into the hotel not hear a thing. To the next town (Playa del Carmen) it was about 20 minutes drive away, the you really safely with the collectivo for per person 70 mex. Pesos to drive can. There one gets everything and one should the book day trips. There was a travel agent (some german) where all travel in the hotel offered a lot cheaper can book.

We were now already for the 3. time in this great and extensive plant, of which the 2. time in the royal suites. Oh well, as already from other vacationers told, is royal not right royal. To compare with last year here already some very deteriorated. There is a separate area at the beach, the only for royal guests is. This is located at the other end the hotel, that means, if you want to go, have to daily 30 minutes on foot per route calculate tips. But one had a shuttle service set up, the more or less last ... year still worked. This year went here practically nothing more. After several point at the front desk they tried then this again set up. But too old or broken Cars prevented the efforts. And who wants to now the whole vacation period daily the whole complex through only to the beach to get. The time a few days, it will too much, even if off course the complex very nice to look at is. Moreover, the royal area a separate restaurant el jardin. Here we can only say: hands off! Here it is unacceptable has become. With the food in the outdoor area is the dirt on the plates, the roof of the area falls. Here, the racoons their nests. But why can we not a net over the tables retension, this fall down prevent? Also the friendliness of the staff left much to be desired. One is rather gene ffs, if guests from 20 o'clock to eat %blank%. And the quality the food was inedible. We have with our friends 2 tried once, steaks to eat-it was not possible. Something i would not. We therefore have the rest of the vacation this restaurant avoided and are in the other gone. Here you can very good food. We hope, that these abuses in the handle, the significant surcharge, for royal paid, you want of course also everything can use. The palladium resort consists of 5 hotels, although actually always 2 large hotels belong together: - kantenah and colonial - white sand and Riviera (where the royal suites are). All have a private lobby, but a large pool and buffet restaurant, as well as various à la carte restaurant. The complex is really nice well maintained and on foot everything easy to reach. Although several shuttle cars and a train through the grounds düst. Well some applies the motto, no step too much to make. read more

    There are royal junior suites, royal suites and the Maya suites. We had a huge royal suite, with separate living room and bedroom. It was every day cleaned well and the towels in animal shaped were placed and flowers. Very good, i think that the cleaning staff keep, that one hand towels re-used. The air conditioning is very noisy! Bathroom is in good condition, a jacuzzi of the terrace.

    Royal restaurant 'el jardin' would once more royal caribbean. For breakfast very little selection of bread, extremely long waiting periods until a coffee get. If you have a Cappuccino or Latte Macchiato ordered, they won the same and we had to wait for good 15 minutes for the coffee. At the dinner little choice and always the same, one also a few of the waiters attended. But one has in the neighboring buffet extremely wide choice, it is all the louder there. But rather what to eat than peace at the empty table to sleep... The deficiency but the main courses were so good as cold, and unseasoned almost anyway. The only two good waiters were at the royal pool bar, Luis and wiliam, get 6 stars, the rest of the best no. Also in the hotel lobby you had to wait directly at the tables in front of the bar, as we, 45 minutes to one at all times asked, whether one which wants, although almost no people in of the lobby were, or you get nothing at all, is us happened...

    Fast check-in, although almost too many information, not all notice. The hotel management would far royal service offer, but the service was not at all in practice. The hotel is no better than a 'regular' hotel, with large rooms and nice pool and that childless is, not more!

    Relaxing balinese beds by the pool. Of course in all hotels already 8:00 a. m. are all beach chairs were reserved! And you could get towels then also no more, because you can help yourself to as many as you want. Some had 2. 10 towels, i wonder for what? There should be times the hotel solution, i think 2 stk. Per person would be enough. The pool waiters brought everything to the chairs, so you will not too much must move, some also watch then from... The private beach is at the other end the hotel, but i think not a problem if one 10-15 minutes at the beach walking, until one is there. There was worse than a walk, or? Otherwise there is also a shuttle service. There also everything to by the love fernanda serves, including mornings fruits or also various sandwiches.

    Playa del Carmen with the taxi very well in 30 minutes and costs around 15 €(fixed price). The shopping 5 ave. You should have seen. Otherwise not much was offered. The shopping center 'CENTRO Maya' you can save.

We had in the royal suites a very nice stay. As royal guest, you can relax in the huge hotel area with a golf cart easy drive or pick up point. The butler service we didn't use, we did not need also. The staff members were always friendly. Big praise the staff at the bar the royal pool, the us during the day always very good and with a smile served and even a few words spoke german. The beach and the sea below the royal beach area was beautiful, fairytale \u263a the food has us in all restaurants was ... very good. The royal -rooms are all newly renovated, very nice, clean and huge. Excursions we did with our rep and it has everything worked without problems, but also its price. All in all we were very satisfied and can this hotel, exactly like the other 4 hotels to palladiumkomplex include, recommend it. read more

My husband and i have mitte december our honeymoon at the royal suites. I have the hotel as very nice, clean and peaceful felt. The hotel respectively the staff made a lot of effort in the special decoration our room and as a wedding present, we also have the 'romantic dinner' get. Our room was as mentioned every day tidy and nicely decorated. Also we were lucky so we a room had, with the balcony not directly observable was, which is why we the jacuzzi gladly and often used it. The staff i than friendly. The gardeners and the pool ... staff i seen at work, which for me is a good sign. The barkeepers were fast and nice. The food has no star quality, us but nevertheless very good. An advantage is surely, that the guests the royal suites not have to wait for a table, at least we have never experienced something like that. We have the option of used and usually a table reserved, we did this once not done, the usherette in the restaurant us immediately leaked, as you pointed out, that we guests of the royal suites are. The buffet-style restaurant we avoided, as this simply too loud were. This hotel i would recommend it, due to my positive experience. read more

    The Maya suites are very nice with the following small drawbacks. The wardrobe is too small. We brauchtem luckily in december no air conditioning. That would be a catastrophe been, since despite turbogeräusche almost no effect was noticeable. Size and cleanliness of toilet and bath was excellent. Great we found the shower in the outdoor area.

    The number of restaurants is huge. The quality of the dishes is quite a bit different. In particular you miss sometimes a bit spice, which we in Mexico more than enough would have expected. Furthermore, the 'all-in' wine rather bad and all other wines you have to quite a lot of money to buy (and if one then times a rose want to buy, so is this warm and sweet-which on the menu not described was).     The royal (without children) the suites are a few hundred meters away from the beach, but you can at any time at any point the hotel or to the beach drive. We did rarely used, because the way on footh through the mangroves just too was brilliant (you should always a take camera!).

The many positive opinions about the royal in our opinion justified - we travel often, far and always in this category. Christmas we were however since many years the first time traveling. We were not disappointed - the opposite was the case. The wonderfully festive decoration in the entire area and the santa hats in the employees we found funny-under beautiful sun. In our opinion is worthwhile a trip in this hotel; peace, relaxation, great room and good food are given. Pure sun and great weather in december! Whoever wanted, could countless excursions across Yucatan make. Guests the only niggle ..., the legs also christmas on the table put, never appropriate dress and much, too much drink, there is always and everywhere. It's not relavant from which country they come from. You on package tours life, in all-inclusive-travel just right. read more

The size has actually already said enough, the royal area was a small area in the complex grand palladium resort. Cleanliness was very good in all areas, the room was newly renovated and had free internet. Inclusive services next to the all-inclusive offer, private shuttle anytime, concierge service (they call it ' butler '), 24 hours room service, mini-bar stocked with 3 beers, soft drinks, water and snacks, in addition 4 1 liter bottles of liqueurs, rum, Wodka, tequila, Scotch. Large jacuzzi on the balcony, flat screen tv, plenty of cosmetics in the bathroom, which refilled daily were. The royal ... area had a small private lobby, air-conditioned and equipped with a small reading area, tv corner, bar (here there are delicious coffees, definitely try!), 24 hours finger and the jetty, for the shuttle boat of the hotel. In november were loud hotel employee unusual many germans tourists present, otherwise they were all nationalities, volumes present. read more

    The rooms were great, huge, fresh and clean renovated. The furniture was partly new, the bed huge and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the open swimming concept not as promised, the toilet has no ventilation, it was the bad smell already extremely, especially, if you are like me with failure had to fight... And the shower is through glasbauseine from the courtyard of the building lit, however also at night, the courtyard is constantly lit, thus the light at night as well in the bedroom, we have every night with the 3. pillows from the bed stopped up. Also disturbed us the permanently lighting from the balcony, the only at 23 o'clock automatically turned off, annoying. Superfluous i found also the wine fridge, blue lit and dauerbrummer, i think everyone found annoying, the one mentioned. The jacuzzi was, of course, a highlight on the balcony, we often used, one must be a little overbearing, because no balcony really private and you top floor from somewhere safe was to see.

    The royal area had its own small restaurant, the food is here well but certainly not star, you can both in the evening, as well as in the morning from the buffet or à la carte meal, the choice is themenabhängig and in the morning unfortunately not always constantly varied. In the mornings, there were the usual egg station, several types of bread, sausage, cheese, fresh fruits, mexican, international and unusual as casserole, geschnetzeltes or fried chicken... I would like to highlight the fresh juice no concentrate! , is in many hotels unfortunately not the standard. The cereals was me too few, but strangely portionsweise packaged cereals, froops, snacks and so on. , as well as the yogurt cups, not the usual bowl of fresh yogurt (it's now in the simplest bb hotel) next to the fresh fruit salad, but normal from the supermarket, as well as the milchpäckchen... A hotel, that with a high environmental claim recruits and then individually packaged, an absolute no-go! In the evening the food was mostly ok, the lobster, my husband didn't taste good, the steaks were el jardin very good, better than the steakhouse, only sometimes we got salads completely without dressing, that was our evening only one negative, the salads without dressing or spices and bad washed... Of the 9 à la carte restaurants we have three tested, the rodizio (brazilian), the ribs and more (steakhouse) and the portofino (italian) and i was really disappointed, the service was excellent the food consistently awful, the steak at the steakhouse was as tough as hockey puck and through and through stringy. In the rodizio was only the chicken edible, the rest was lousy, dry and bland... The italian was not italian, but comfortable in Mexico expect was, the food is very badly... The gastronomy get because desansonsten good dinner at el jardin and kabah (buffet in the riviera Hotel) 2 stars, my man wanted not any stars, as we the breakfast could not enjoy, reason were the 'invited' guests from the royal areas, the travel club el jardin had breakfast, it was it then already times before, that a royal guest up to 30 minutes for a table had to wait or children (adults only!) For breakfast sat. Amongst others it came to some tables to disturbances, if one or another loaded guest once said, at which meeting it was and the whole then cancel wanted, which travel club staff of course not great... , also the selling conversations and surveys about how, even during the breakfast extremely loud and made from the small private area nothing else than a loud cafeteria, in addition, that in the morning it was forced to rise early, because otherwise you either get a table, nor selection on looted buffet had and even on request the re-filling of cold sausages or butter sometimes 30 mins... From the normal coffee i would rather speak not at all, if you got, cold and more inedible...

    Friendly were without exception all of the staff, but not everyone spoke english, so if you are not in the direct guest contact is, the most speak only spanish. In the palladium area there are a doctor and several altersabhängige kids' clubs (less relevant for the royal field, as adult only). I had during of the vacation birthday, when we from the beach came, was our room with balloons and decorated on the table a lovingly decorated cheesecake, so what i have not yet seen, was a tranches value... The royal area had a small private lobby, air-conditioned and equipped with a small reading area, tv corner, bar (here there are delicious coffees, definitely try!) , 24 hours finger and the jetty, for the shuttle boat of the hotel.     The royal area is quite far from the sandy beach, but thanks to the shuttle service not a drawback, closer it was to salt water pool on a cliff. Cancun and the airport was within an hour to reach, Playa del Carmen or Tulum (the hotel is located exactly halfway between Tulum and Playa del Carmen, 30 kilometer each in both directions) with the collectivo (circa 35 mex per person), comfortable in 30 minutes. If you want a lot of alcohol and plenty of russians at the beach like, is here in the right place. All other should this hotel avoid. No trace of tranquility and the word hygiene for the food seems to be a foreign word. If we have a clean tablecloth if the lunch wanted, we had to first 4 dirty tables decline. This has nothing to do with 5 stars mean. The only thing which 5 star level was the great rooms. Who real royal service experience, should to Cuba the paradisus Varadero travel. Maybe the manager of grand palladium ... the paradisus also see. They could learn a lot. read more

    We have both the el jardin, as well as different restaurants on the complex try it. The latter are through the bank really good with pleasant and motivated staff. The exclusive royal restaurant 'el jardin' the whole looks unfortunately again different. Also for breakfast you have to wait to a table to be brought.     We come to the crux of the evaluation: in the majority of the hotel are the staff tried really hard and friendly. This concerns unfortunately not on the royal area. Here a few examples for illustration. We arrived in the evening at 21:30 hours tired and hungry and were greeted by our transfer on the doorstep the front desk sold, paid the driver and talked briefly. In the entire time managed nobody on the outside, for us to welcome, is our luggage to take care of it, or similar so we dragged our luggage itself into the lobby and were directly at the reception of a partly unmotivated and rude staff with a bunch of documents and few information. We asked, as with food moment and got the answer, that the restaurants now anyway all and we are just in the room on the menu the room service look. Five star? No, certainly not.     The rooms of the royal suites area are at the far end of the hotel, why, as well as at the pool-really quiet and comfortable. One would like to the 'royal beach' you had to the other end the hotel. Obligingly for was quite small, early fully occupied and here it from the directly adjoining regular beach rather noisy. The hotel is very well-kept and very tasty laid out. Especially the great flora and fauna pleased us. The suites and villas are nice to nature nestled. We had a junior suite, apparently newly renovated. The rooms was nicely big, on the top floor. Cleanliness was in the room and also in general hotel area good. Guest structure: very lots of spaniards, americans, apart from that some German, some russians. We were glad, that we from time to time in the royal -lobby could withdraw. In the' normal' lobbies (white sands, kantenah, etc.) have some guests very' at home' ... home (feet on the tables put, in wet bathing suit on the lounge furniture, etc.). Luckily must men evenings a long pants and T-shirt wearing, apart from that you could for certain the majority of of the guests in the undershirt and bathing slippers seen.     Quantity does not mean quality! Rather instead of 6 à la carte restaurant only 2-3 and then good. The salad-bars were mostly ok, the main course a catastrophe. Help no colorful painted plates. We afterwards always the 'lowest bad' elected and the italians or the el jardin gone. The prawns were mostly good grilled. Apart from that really disappointing. To a good vacation include very good food, especially in a five-star hotel. This was unfortunately not at all. The atmosphere el jardin was evenings not so very comfortable, very light, curtains closed. Would certainly inviting enjoyable. In the large speisesäalen we were only 2 times at noon, very uncomfortable atmosphere. Was positive at the breakfast buffet the choice of different fresh juice. Tips are expected, we have readily available, if the service accordingly.

    Most employees in the hotel were friendly and willing to help. For a five star hotel however still need of improvement. Especially training the waiter left sometimes to be desired. We sometime with humor, that the rotweinglas crowded given was used as a Cola-glass and the bottle of the bezel off. English were not always sufficiently available. At the breakfast buffet we had to after two weeks yet explain, what a fried egg 'sunny side up' means (and in the men, the actually only there is around egg dishes making facilities).

    The fitness room is very good, mostly was not much going on and you could fully device use. Also the spa area looked neat. Some wooden pool chairs at the royal -pool were broken, but the Bali-beds are really nicely done. The non-royal -pools are huge, it has only disturbed, that some guests your drinks and cigarette (!) with into the water it... With rising alcohol-level as something next to it. We were shocked on the activities- liste' the item of the agenda 'beer drinking contest' to find...?! We are actually extra not in a hotel in Cancun went this type of clientele to escape...

    Distance to Cancun a bit too far, luckily we had to a long and strenuous flight a direct transfer to the hotel booked (took then ' only about 1 hour 15 minutes). To the beach one arrives from the royal suites at the best with the small golf cars. Unproblematic, the chauffeurs were always nice and helpful. We never waited more than 5 to 10 minutes on one of the cars waited. Playa del Carmen is approximately 30 minutes out, exactly like Tulum. Beach very beautiful, white, fine sandy beach and (mostly) turquoise sea. On some days very many seaweeds washed ashore.

Especially good in our experience the area the facilities like. It lies in the middle in the (UR ) forest. On leaving the airport area of Cancun welcomes a billboard the guests with the inscription 'welcome to paradise'. The slogan in our hotel apply would, we would not have the dream. The complex is really very big and best well-kept. The mixture between nature ( Rainforest) and hotel buildings us especially good loved it. Already was on the first day our stress at work as beamed away and felt 100% recovered. The royal pool is perfect to relax. The pool area is very nice designed and cozy. Just stayed here the Americans on a few days to a little loud ... and took the all inclusive a bit too literally, a shame. The royal beach is also very recommendable and the sea on royal section is great. The rooms are big and very very clean. The the furnishing is in colonial style and perfectly adequate. We are in Mexico and a design fänd I personally (as architect ) lack of space. The food is very tasty. We were in 4 to be reserved à la carte restaurant, in le Jardin and into the buffet restaurants. We are thankful very much José Luis from the lobby bar, when Mariana from royal beach and José from royal pool bar, you have the vacation sweetened. read more

The suites provide everything, what one for a relaxing vacation wishes. The service our expectations completely exceeded. We booked the hotel for a swimming vacation after our round trip about 'jahnreisen'. 'Jahnreisen' describes the hotel in the catalog far more common. The jacuzzi on the balcony was something special. At the beach there is a separated area, the only for Royalgäste accessible. With Balibetten equipped and amazing service ( cocktails, fresh fruit, sandwiches will be directly at the Ligeplatz brought) you could just relaxation. The sea was great, to the snorkeling had one however a piece far out. We had ... room 7036 and would basically a room on the top floor recommend, alone because of the view. The food the private restaurant ElJardin was really great. Especially the lobster, for all other non-royal -guests full 35 dollars costs. They wanted something action, disco, show and so on it was simply in the adjoining hotels. The withdrawal possibility the Royalbereichs was however Gold worth. In the first week was by Spanish and Canadian party announced. The shows the Rivera Maja are really great and very carefully made. A great food, afterwards a great show and in conclusion jacuzzi with a starry sky. Simply great. We can only recommend the hotel. read more

The whole complex is very neat and it was constantly being cleaned. All houses are nice laid out courtyards, are however also somewhat badly soundproofed. Particularly beautiful we found the lakes and the many original nature there was. So we have lots of animals watching.     The room is large and also very clean kept. The solution with the open bathroom is very lots of space before the washbasin, however it is for the other partner but disturbing. Instead of a huge jacuzzi on the balcony to bodies, the tons water used, it would be cleaner and cheaper been a nice sofa lacked storage space. Unfortunately there were only 2 loungers but we would have liked to outside on a chair set.

    For the hotel there is a highway, so you got with the small buses fast and cheap everywhere back. Tulum and Playa del Carmen are 20 minutes away. Of the royal suites is about 20 minutes to the beach. You can but also everywhere go leave.
