The perfect hotel around Havana exploration. Whether to malecon or in the historic old town, everything is good
Easy to reach on foot. The rooms are okay, the bathroom has a rain shower and breakfast is -surprises-
And! - very good.
We were already 3 times in Havana, and with joy seen: much is better and good!
At the ' communist friendliness' needs to be worked on, but they are on the right way. read more

Our friends in the hotel inglaterra stayed in, which in tripadvisor and HolidayCheck negative was. So i have for our Havanna stay the telegraph-with many positive reviews. Both hotels were directly nebenainander in best location the old Havanna. I can now the negetive reviews of inglaterra exactly like positive from telegraph couldn't understand. In my opinion, there are worlds dazwieschen. Telegraf is a dump with worst breakfast buffet of my life and worst loud lifemusuik at breakfast, which i had ever experienced. Our room had not any window to the street, only to the inner courtyard. If on friday evening ... live music in the bar played, you can't sleep. The furnishing is down and in need of renovation. From curiosity i in inglaterra the breakfast buffet looked at-no comparison. Million times better with a lot of fruits and fresh juice and much larger selection. The entire hotel is much larger, nice and elegant. If price differences not too big is, necessarily inglaterra book. read more

We had originally built in 'Iberostar Parque Central 'want to stay, what however unfortunately was fully booked. The alternative it was right next door, the 'telegraph', much cheaper, but for cuban standards also not bad. Breakfast and television broadcasts can one forget, but who needs already tv on vacation. The rooms really spacious and with comfy beds. From the window from great view on the blazing cuban life. Soundproofing absolutely sufficient for pleasant night's sleep. We were in any case satisfied. read more

We were thrilled. We on the balcony and the old-timers admired and the hours. The exhaust gases are extremely. But this applies to very Havanna to. Are annoying in front of the hotel the taxi, the constantly somewhere to go there. But with a nice smile and ' no gracias' is the heatwave. read more

The only thing, what me at the hotel really disturbed, was the Plastikschonbezug under the bed sheet. You sweat at night very. The staff are normally very nice and helpful been. That you nevertheless definitely not backwards has, did not bother us, that is Caribbean-socialist habit. We had the half board and this is for a stay of 10 days then but monotonous. Breakfast is exactly monotonous, as the selection in the evening. But we had no expected gourmet food.
The location the Parque central is ideal for all kinds of excursions, since the hop-on-hop-off tourist bus Linie 1 and ... 3 (Playas del Este) directly there. read more

For a city visit the hotel is very well situated, it is actually everything easy to reach on foot. The rooms are a bit old, but clean and very big ( seat area, sleep area, bathroom and separate toilet). The breakfast buffet is OK.
In any case the hotel is recommendable! read more

Rooms good, location very centrally located. Since the window good schalldämpfen was the road good to endure. The breakfast was good, the dinner (3 menus to choose from) was Sunday if large groups simultaneously in the restaurant were, one understood his own word not more. Good city hotel in a great location for Cuba and Havana very recommendable. read more

We were during our round trip 2 times in the hotel and had different rooms (double standard)
At the start the journey a balcony room to main street - 5 meters high-noisy but great view of the colorful and the old-timers in the second time - location inner courtyard very calm and pleasant with living room, 2 tv, 2 toilets.
On the final day as I had stomach problems( clearly not the hotel food!) I could without extra cost the room until the departure in the evening used, although we already at noon to checked out. Again many thanks at ... the nice Maid and the front desk! read more

the beautiful hotel is located right on the Parque central in the heart of Havana. The strolling mile Calle Obispo with cafes, restaurants and stores starts opposite of the hotel.
the reception was rather undercooled and not very friendly, but the check out but can't say. The rooms with a small balcony are wonderful with a dreamlike view of the lively hustle and bustle around the Parque central. Tip: in the check in after such a room. Unfortunately the mattresses totally worn and would have to urgently be exchanged. The dinner as a part of our half board was good ..., that breakfast but less. Except for a few drawbacks we can recommend the hotel. read more

A hotel in the heart of Havana old town

The hotel looks from the outside not typically 'Havana old town'. But the rooms are really outstanding... Two bathrooms, a large bedroom and tv room... Transportation to and from the hotel equipped and very clean. Unfortunately we had something bad luck with the location of the room, because it is in the wall of our bedroom was the ventilation system-so you could night no sleep. For a longer stay we would have the room changed. But makes up the proximity to all sights the city of Havana-Capitol (unfortunately currently closed), museums, old town, harbor, bars and restaurants etc. read more

At first glance nice but on the two/three. View Yuck! Room smelled musty, toilet was not cleaned! Headache the next day including didn't use the air conditioning was cleaned, the dirt came out of the openings of the building! For breakfast there was a small selection of different things, on the butter I discovered the mold the appetite has taken the last. The hotel was okay to sleep but not more! read more

Central city hotel in Havanna - but it was really ok. Of all other hotels in the area you only hear bad. In the european standard rather three stars, but probably one of the best in Havanna, the one can get. Breakfast okay. Rooms are large, but in the corners one may not look exactly... Would go back to stay the night! read more

great hotel as a base for sightseeing in Havana. It is located right in the center at the beginning of the Prado and is just across the United States capitol building. One feels himself back into the 20 'or 30 he' s-the height of the ceiling of the room is about 5 meters and the style of the hotel was as' old times '. Great Atmosphere. read more
