The hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful area with a great view to nearby mountains and with an easy access to several ski areas, especially to Rossfeld slopes which is really suitable for not so experienced skiers.
The hotel premises and the rooms are cleaned and aired thoroughly. The towels, the bed line feel fresh and soft.
Abundant buffet table breakfast is provided. You are always asked if you would like tea or coffee, sunny-side-up eggs or scrambled eggs with the meal.
Dinners can be ordered. You can choose from 3 options, among them there is always a vegetarian ... one as well.
If you decide to have something in the evening without previous order, you can choose from the snacks and meals from the menu.
The sauna will be heated by the guests' special request.
The hotel seems to be popular with couples, groups of friends and families who come for a week's ski holiday. The guests tend tocbe quiet but friendly. read more

We felt very much at ease, the family f. and team always had an ear to lend. Breakfast was really sufficient, for example different bread rolls, breads, gek. Eggs, on request there were also scrambled eggs or fried eggs, fruit, cheese, sausage, cereal varieties of, everything was perfect. Dinner was very good,there were 3 different menus with hors-d'oeuvre and refeeds to choose from.

You can directly by car in about 10-minute drive from the ski lift are.
Bus stop about 10 minutes' walk on foot, but you have to the ... way back in mind, it is uphill, better by car go. The hotel lies really very quiet location at the mountain and is therefore very relaxing. Just a pity, there was no safe. read more

The berghotel edelweiss, a small, cozy hotel. The rooms are in good condition and very clean. Also the staff at the hotel and the owners have been to their guests taken care of.
The breakfast was for a rather small hotel already very varied. During dinner you could between three main dishes, there was also still another hors-d'oeuvre and a dessert. The food tasted very good and left nothing to be desired. As winterdomizil the hotel is very recommendable, because the ski areas rossfeld and obersalzberg are by car or with the bus about minutes away. read more

We enjoyed a very warm admission and care. The hotel we as starting point for walks and were not disappointed. The location is very quiet, great to turn off. We felt good overall and think especially to the nice evenings in the stadl back. read more

The couple meats run berghotel edelweiss, lies very beautifully and calmly, at an altitude of 800 meters with a great talblick. The hotel and the room were exceptionally clean, which we immediately eye bites is. We have booked half board. The breakfast buffet was a feast for the eyes and there was something for everyone, the dinner was a dream, here the director cooked herself, with a lot of love, the heart is through the stomach is. In the hotel was international mixed clientele. We were welcomed by the couple meats included and are definitely coming again. read more

A small, clean hotel, in the hospitality very important; the food was very good, the breakfast buffet sufficient; only the room and the bathroom were very small; however for the price, we paid, the hotel is absolutely further recommendable; furthermore the hotel lies idyllic in the district of oberau, however it is to Berchtesgaden already a piece of and in oberau itself you can only a few undertake ( no restaurants, shops, bars, etc.) read more

I rarely felt so good like in this accomodation. The handling of the staff with the guests was uniquely good. The breakfast and the dinner was downright celebrated. One had simply been all to enjoy. The peace and quiet in the house was good. The swimming pool on the top floor of the hotel was wonder-nice. read more

Rooms are perfectly okay and very, very clean. but the mattresses are absolutely exchange, you can get away with backache. the shower took twice as long as usual, because the water is not so good. but otherwise the hotel is very well maintained and the breakfast has plenty of choice! the area is absolutely beautiful. read more

Our first conclusion: the three star superior hotel with this price/performance ratio can recommend it!HCLFHLIn October 09 we had booked the hotel for four nights over TUI. The negative reviews we couldn't understand.HCLFHLThe accomodations were as described in the catalog. We were welcomed very warm and friendly from the chef.HCLFHLThe breakfast (from 08:00 o'clock) was always plentiful and it was always refilled. Following lunch you could put together. The The coffee was even baked cakes.HCLFHLThe dinner, a 4-course menu, consisted of salad (not always fresh), a different daily soup, main course which, as well as a ... dessert. Between 18:00 and 21:00 o'clock there was even the alcoholic drinks (Red & white wine and beer).HCLFHLThe room was clean and appropriately furnished. For many years I meet with friends from Italy, France, Holland and the United States and with our respective wives in this quiet and cosy mountain, this year by 11 October 2009 4.10 up.HCLFHLThe charming owner of the hotel is Romanian. It has acquired a degree and in their mother tongue in four languages spoken and written and converses with my friends in their mother tongue. Respect!HCLFHLThe member has completed a Romanian quality education in Romania and each year is only on the high season to Germany. We met over the years as a friendly and helpful staff. ...HCLFHLAlso a criticism of the drinks and food, the content of the terms and conditions of the hotel is, is located next to the matter. You have checked in in a vacation hotel in a Kurregion and not in a pub and all for a very fair price. My friends and I will book this mountain hotel with wonderful mountain scenery in future for our annual meeting and I would also like to thank you on behalfHCLFHLmy friends for the hospitality and good service. This hotel is not all-inclusive offer. Here, everything is just about the euro. Soft drinks only ten o 'clock until 21 o' clock, beer and wine from 18 o 'clock until 21 o' clock. Free drinks can only be referred to 21 o'clock, then everything had to be paid. The 'restaurant' closes at 22 o'clock and it is no more possible with drinks. Then one goes to sleep. The service covers very early (against 21 o'clock) the tables for breakfast and you are invited, at last to go to sleep. One remains however 22 o'clock the Romanian service (also boss ... is Romanian) in the corner and wait, that it is now finally. All non-alcoholic drinks are drinks from plastic bottles of the companies. Beer from bottles and bottled wine from 3-5 liter bottles.HCLFHLIt is a standard breakfast (always the same) and a course menu dinner. Lunch is deleted, you can make yourself but a packed lunch. The dinner (for example goulash counted the five piece of meat every guest) is very little. Seconds does not exist. Good eaters must deal with the content to be full or drink. On the day of departure must be packed with 2.50 euros. The all inclusive services only in the restaurant. Consumption outside cost! Drinks, for example water for the night must be paid. Sauna is 7.00 euro to pay. Trash and bottles and cans in the rooms must be disposed.HCLFHLThis information will be communicated to you in the form of a colored Ankünft Zettels.
