The hotel is very central, directly at the main shopping street. The Donau is also within walking distance. Recommendable is the pizzeria directly next to the hotel and as typical hungarian the 'centenary', the approximately 5 minutes out from the hotel is. The breakfast buffet is very plentiful and offers something for everyone. read more

The hotel is right in the pedestrian area and thus optimized for a stroll or walk to start. At the Donau one runs comfortably about 10 minutes and the next subway it is 5 minutes Exchange offices are not far from the hotel several available. In the same building is still a pizzeria, in which you very good food. read more

Rooms are small but nice. Bathroom was fairly, sporty, but clean. Front desk spoke good English. Wiki free of charge. In the bar you can get free Internet access. For the money completely okay! The Mercure Hotel is located directly in the famous váci utca in Budapest. As a result two things clear: firstly, the hotel lies very centrally located in the heart of Budapest and most major attractions in walking distance vicinity and secondly is the driving directions by car somewhat difficult, since the váci utca is a pedestrianised area. If one it but to the hotel managed, is a nice stay nothing more in the way. The rooms are simple however furnished nicely, however not very big, we had a view of the courtyard. An experience really is the breakfast buffet, absolutely ... left no wishes unfulfilled. Worth seeing is the breakfast room, with a lovely view through the glass front to the pedestrian area has. Cocktails should you prefer to stay in one of the surrounding bars, the lobby-bar has rather adventurous prices. In sum: a pleasant hotel for a short city break! read more

The hotel is very centrally located-perfect for all kinds of/usual sightseeing excursions. Large drawback was the room and the breakfast. The breakfast was of the quality simply not convincing. read more

The Mercure city center, I can unfortunately n I C h t recommend. The reason is, that it was a good location, but otherwise unfortunately nothing. A typical Accorhotel stop, where each small room room has. My single room was safe no choice 10 square meters large, a tiny bathroom. Below average was also the breakfast -here you should save your money and the nearby nearby gerbeaud (CAFE) of at take. And the service was not convinced. read more

Especially the entrance area and the lobby (both very modernly styled) the sloped guest arriving with pleasure. To reach room there are several elevators available, which one is rush is very convenient, but also has confusing can, since there in the garage, change. One of the underground car park was: nooks and crannies and built up with larger Rangierschwiergkeiten coaches there were certainly more than at home (VW eos) . Concurrently with we were there, there were many young people of different nationalities, older business and a Vociferous ladies circle in the hotel, an interesting mix definitely. read more

We had booked over the internet offer so I guess, got a "Verlegenheitszimmer": right at the back at the end of the hallway, nooks and crannies. about 15 sq. m with little bit too small for 3 people, but if you spend the day shopping anyway that was hardly noticeable factor. Also you will not disturbed late Heimkehrern. The travel bed for our son was very comfortable and was so that it was not in your way. The furnishing was practical, if a bit dated, but clean. The room had a window that cigarette butts. Highlight was in my opinion, this is the bathroom: Very furnishings dignified, must have been renovated recently, with hair dryer and magnifying mirror and an optimal lighting, and a shower/tub combinations of the highest quality.

The room cleaning was spotless. The staff as well as at the reception at the bar was safe multi-lingual, so there were no communication difficulties. Thick plus: when packing our son had his comics left in the room, these were us by our breakfast before you leave discreet vomit;) Both to our delight as well as the our son. Conclusion: Very attentive and friendly.

The Mercure hotel is situated in the Vaci Utca, the most well-known shopping street and pedestrian area Budapest. From there you can be reached within a few minutes the lovely promenade along the Danube with view of the castle and the Citadel. Shops and restaurants all price ranges are also in the direct vicinity of the hotel, and it is perfect as a base for the discovery of the city. This is without a doubt the significant trumph this place. If you walk into the lobby and reception Merges, the Mercure the ambience of a four-star hotel. However, as soon ... as you that will change in one of the standard room going inside: you are functional (an LCD TV with several international channels is part of the equipment), but much too small. We have also than disadvantageous found the quite dirty carpets, both in the room and in the hall. The wet room has no room for a bathtub, which we didn't bother us but actually was probably the standard of a four-star hotel. There must be said that we in comfortable beds quiet nights sleep. The breakfast was good, the variety of dining and drinking varied, but there was also 17 EUR per person. Unless you for example (in February/March) at HolidayCheck bay and per night and room a bit more than 50 EUR (plus 3 % city tax) paid, is the value for money really good. However, if you get the idea, the Mercure without prior arrangement quest from to climb, COUNTS loud Preisschildchen 180 EUR (plus city tax) What the value to rate I leave the sloped readers. Rated as you a finally it, this is always also from the price you paid the subject, as you are often the own expectation dedicated: We weren't disappointed with it, with three stars for the standard rooms of this hotel was closer to reality. read more

The hotel has a perfect location-is situated in a pedestrian mall. To the hotel you will find plenty of shopping and restaurants/bars. Room are not on the newest conditions, and they are more like 3 * and wherein the small flaws are, the location and the price made up for! For a city trip the hotel is very good! read more

The hotel is located centrally in downtown Pest in the main shopping area. Enjoy easy access to public transportation, shopping and restaurants. Hotel makes a very good impression in the entrance area, but not more in the halls and the rooms. Very stained carpets, vacuum cleaners maybe not functional anymore? Room size, bathroom was fairly small and the layout of the toilets were not good. Shower and a hair-dryer available as well as shower lotions are provided, shampoo and body lotion. Windows you can open only upset or a gap, airing so difficult. Because of its location to be recommended ..., Expedia, transfer via internet (Fox. Tours), taxi to 4 people 22, - €- and return to the airport €20.00, sightseeing with Parliament tour is a must, compare prices. Opposite the hotel you can also take advantage of currency exchange. Hotel for city trip in Budapest OK, breakfast didn't use it, since we in the small cafe in the courtyard for breakfast. read more

A decent hotel in a great location, right on the Vaci Street with many restaurants, bars and shops. Only about 100 meters or so to Danube Embankments and therefore right in the center of life of Budapest. Unfortunately though quite a lot of money for a not particularly ambitious breakfast and use of the hot-spots pay. For 4 stars I found the room and bathroom was too small and "sparse", otherwise though, it's a very recommendable for a stay and all would be by the location more than made up for it. read more
