Perfect for a child free hotel. Shame that more English people do not use it as despite there being mainly German guests the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the rooms large and airy. The whole hotel was kept spotlessly clean. The only criticism we had was that there was only one English TV channel and that was CNN with very poor reception. read more

Food and cleanliness are no four stars, staff are very friendly the hotel is already a bit older what it shows

We enjoyed the Mac Garonda good. Was the 2. Stay in the hotel. The room with a view of the sea we had to the side. Thus it was in the morning between 5:00 A. M. until about 7:00 A. M. but sometimes very noisy through the delivery entrance on the ground floor.
But was nevertheless a lovely vacation. read more

The hotel is in its building method and location highest expectations. The competence and friendliness of the staff, from the director, front desk, service, kitchen to the housekeeping staff, are exemplary. It is all the parties a clear effort significantly, an easy going atmosphere manufacture, without the appropriate distance limit being exceeded. The guests-clientele has changed since the introduction of adults only, noticeable improvement. This assessment, i would like to deliver, because i have c. a.25 years, often 2 times every year, with my wife each for 2 weeks as a guest am. Last visit was v.15-10-2012 until ... 26-10-2012
Actually, there was no major negative points, naturally, one could amongst others on the farbgeschmack the walls, on decorations, or the somewhat gewöhnugsbedürftige bar counter argue. But take you there, in the beautiful bar and on the outdoor terrace, existing interpersonal contact possibilities as values for true, the mentioned dispute and downsides no big significance more. But unfortunately there is always people, the a lot annoy and therefore like to argue. read more

The hotel lies at the level of the balneario 8. Therefore still relatively central. To to Schinkenstraße is about 500 meters.
At check in I immediately felt good. The staff at reception were great nice and helpful.
We were as a group traveled and arrived already in the morning at 7 o'clock at. Normal one gets its room only around
14 hours. But since two rooms were free, these were immediately supplied.
The rooms were very clean and nice. The bathroom was also good. Towels are changed every day.
Breakfast and dinner were very good. With 10 people from our ... group no complaints. The selection was also very good. The only thing that bothered me, the drinks you had to extra pay.
I recommend the hotel in any case further. read more

We really liked this hotel. The location to the sea great. You can see Palma at the beach or go cycling. Staff are very friendly, the welcome we got at first a sparkling wine offered. The food with the half-board varied, varied and tasty. We had a beautiful renovated double room 5th floor with roof terrace and view of the sea. read more

Good but expensive and older hotel with too many older regular guests. Pool size and pool area for a four-star hotel much too small. The direct the beach compensated but a lot. The food is not so varied, but of good quality. Annoying are the constant Lines with the morgentlichen fried egg and evenings with showcooking. Evenings in the bar area there was a refined, more boring atmosphere. A hotel for only adults just not only benefits. read more

This has been a most enjoyable short holiday.From arrival till departure, one can feel the personal attention the staff, from the Director to the chambermaid,pays to you.Although we were told that we wouldn't be able to stay in a sea-view room the first day, upon arrival, the reception staff was very kind and managed to find us one right away, to our entire satisfaction. The room, recently refurbished, is very nice, all in white shades with modern furnishing, along with a modern marble bathroom. The lighting at night is very appealing and adds to the comfort after ... a day out in the beach,which happens to be hardly 30-40m away from the hotel!The food was simply sublime, from starters to the main dishes and deserts,which might be showing on our waistlines now!This is a hotel that we shall highly recommend to our friends and one we shall certainly look forward to being a guest in again. Top marks to hotel Garonda, its Director and his staff! read more

This was our 3. Stay at this hotel. Everyone really relaxation I would like is in good hands here. The whole concept is simply right. Quiet, clean, good food, attentive waiter, you feel as a guest however. If you want to little commotion must not far run and returns afterwards stay in the quiet hotel back. I can absolutely recommend. read more

Unfortunately was our wunschhotel already booked out, therefore we are because of the HolidayCheck reviews ended up here.
Location directly by the beach and room with a view of the sea, this is what we wanted. The hotel is so OK. However the lauds here for me not comprehensible. Although the rooms renovated, but the quality the materials and the daily cleaning are not so great. The staff are attentive, friendly and spoke mostly German, that is certainly commendable. The photos on the internet promised but more than they can. I think, in at least two years is all down ... ridden. Especially the quality of the beds leaves much to be desired. Rarely so bad nights sleep. The breakfast is really ok, but there is also much better at the Pl. San Lorenzo. Safe costs extra, however WiFi is free of charge. For 185.00 Euro a night including breakfast I expect nevertheless altogether more! All together the hotel you can than average. So please do not from the effusive reviews here fooled! For a relaxed beach vacation the hotel is however quite recommendable. read more

The positive thing first: very friendly, courteous staff in all areas, the majority of even spoke German. Attentions were free at lunch and in the afternoon by the pool enough: small Obstgläser and small ice cream sundae. The hotel is well-kept, the rooms probably renovated, but very small with old-fashioned safe, key only for daily fee €2.30 and deposit. Bathroom was spacious. At the renovation you have the doors forget: old heavy wooden doors always crashing into the castle fell. When Spätheimkehrern ( Ballermann proximity) not pleasant. The breakfast buffet was good, the dinner ( in 2 layers ) ... for a four-star hotel in the upper price borderline. Choice and quality could have been better. Mostly good older especially German Core Audience. Now at this time of the year in the hotel also some clubs of whatever nature, women and men. Therefore also a higher background noise. Especially in the restaurant we were for the first time at the Playa Palma and for the German audience partly only foreign be ashamed. This applies however not for the hotel guests the garonda. In short: Once Playa Palma enough, there are many more attractive places in Mallorca! read more

The garonda is a not so very small, but well arranged hotel you simply be comfortable should.
The cleanliness leaves nothing to be desired and the buffet both for breakfast, as well as during dinner offers something for every taste and tempt you just a feast.
The guests belong rather the' older generation' on, but we have also seen, that younger guests very probably felt. read more
