The hotel we have in the catalog as four star hotel booked. Unfortunately was missing in the reality star. To the review the caleta palace is only a few positive say: very nice location at the beach, friendly staff and good mix -drinks. Apart from that you should about this hotel by far. The furnishing resembles a youth hostel ( for example as bed functions a couch with mattress) and is very run down ( for example missing mountings in the bathroom, curtain with holes, furniture with burnt holes), the cleaning is only makeshift carried out ( dirty towels, hair ... from the' previous tenant' in the bathroom, sticky indefinable substances on the floor, etc.), the warm food is very british and ensures that stomach detunings (greasy and little varied), designated leisure offers are not available ( for example bike rent) and the most unpleasant thing: the hotel is extremely noisy! Peace, sleep relaxation you will find it here because of the very chatty spanish and streitfreudigen british hardly. In short: not again! read more

It could be nice, it is but unfortunately in our eyes. The beautifully laid out facilitities are run-down and dingy. The chairs in the restaurant and the pool chairs are really unacceptable. It is noisy in the hotel and we had a room on the ground floor directly above the laundry, the whole night ran pumps, room could not changed are. The pluses I can only account for the location give, apart from that no recommendation. read more

The hotel is very large and gets about 700 guests under. The hotel was in the 60. Years and in the year 2000 will be renovated. The repairs make no professional impression. The hotel is rather ageing and ailing. The exterior could use a coat of paint, the foyer is quite dark and carelessly decorated. The cleanliness did not meet our expectations. Everything is only quite half-hearted carried out. Under the guests were a lot of french people, guests from eastern europe, English, spanish, dutch and German. Lots of families with small children. read more

    A restaurant, which for the many guests way too small was. The tables were mostly broken ( kippelten or tabletop was not feast). The chair cushions were very stained and dirty. It was very loud, the waiters were concerned the tables fast again to prepare as soon as you went... Mass processing. The food was okay, little fresh ingredients and fruit, many fish, very oily. We found the meal times too late ( evenings 19,30-10:00 P. M. ), even if you with children traveling it is not appropriate. Drinks you had to itself at the bar get, this has created a long queue. Also here everything very ailing, nachgebesserter paint, flaking stucco, retrofitting air-conditioning devices the very dusty and except business were. The windows were far from oggen, nevertheless it was very warm and stuffy or it was moved. One evening came with the deckenputz from the ceiling cracked, luckily no one was injured.

    The reception and cleaning staff is very friendly. At the front desk English, french, Russian and spanish, of course spoken. Concerns taken serious. The day before one can until o'clock a lunch box reserve, in case a trip plans (as we to Barcelona). The staff in the dining room seemed very tense, rushed and reserved. Entertainment program was offered, we have but we didn't make use of it. A kinderebtreuung (kids club ) is also available. The free time area in the basement makes a very ailing impression ( the color bursts of the walls or it is only a other color repaired). The Kicker and table had the best years far behind. Further stand still slots available. The cleaning of the rooms was cleaned every day with sharp always with some chlorine cleaner, nevertheless this was only very superficially (hairs were not completely could have been better, in the corners were the pebbles from the beach, the schrankinnenraum was very dusty and scuffed, the walls were with stains mistake, the toilet brush hung with excrement fully, a lot of dust under the washbasin...).

    See above, the pool seemed clean, we didn't use it. For the number of guests far from enough loungers. By the pool sat at least always a 'lifeguard'. Evenings always found a entertainment program ( music) and stood (jewelry store) was set up.

    The hotel is directly at the beach in a bay, so has almost a private beach. Further the hotel lies direct in the center of Platja D'aro and one reaches the shops and pub after a few minutes walk, nevertheless the hotel lies relatively quiet.

A big hotel, in which you nevertheless not mass tourism thinks. The cleaning staff really makes an effort and always friendly. Everything clean enough ( except for the toilets in general area). Half board with breakfast until around 10 and dinner from 19:30 is recommendable. Families, but also couple, little 'party people', so that the atmosphere relaxed-quiet. read more

    Spacious, standard-moderate designed room, all with a balcony / terrace. View of the sea is a absolute plus (if you such a room get)! Cleanliness is ok enough. Safe was broken, the shower left unfortunately not on the wall freeze. A fridge in the room would be good.

    Very friendly, attentive staff. For the food one must only watch out, that the plates not too early to be desired. The end of the day, against curfew, works the staff partly. A little impatient. Good staff at the reception with versatile information. All spoke English, partly. Also German and french. Cleaning of the rooms is standard, everything ok.

    Great location - right next to the sea, on a not so overcrowded bay with coarse sand. On foot the city is reachable in a few minutes, a small supermarket with the coerced is in the immediate vicinity. With the rental car there are many excursions possible, amongst others the former small fishing village of palamós, to Montserrat or to Barcelona.

The hotel was itself reasonable! The first impression was very good, beautiful entrance area, pleasant staff and a good location. We had booked all inclusive and wanted to actually work. However we were on the second day from the buffet already abgegessen and are evenings then different restaurants nearby gone. It were completely different crops there, something of everything so to say. The average age however rather at 30 years and older. Young people we have only a couple met. read more

    Not modern, however reasonable. Our room was huge. We had a double bed and two simple beds, although we only a double room had booked. There was a tv ( however only satellite. 1, RTL and Viva on German ), balcony, no mini bar or coffee machine, no safe ( we have our valuables in our suitcase included and it is not stolen!) , a telephone was available, but we didn't use it, because we our cell phones with us.

    So once the hotel food, it has no matter what time of day it is ( in the morning, at noon, evenings) something from the buffet to food. A good thing in itself, however it was very typical of the country! I really very much new try, but really liked me nothing! Therefore we are evenings then always to eat assumed, in different restaurants. What the regards, there are large differences. The best tastes it really in the restaurants, where lots of guests are! So the I can tell you really only say... The prices were of course a bit higher, it was a resort ;-) you could however also times for McDonald's or a Doner get :-)

    The staff were very friendly and always make an effort uS to help and when you give us information could, they gave us the way to the touristeninformationscenter said. With English you could in any case communicate well, German however no really! Our room was every day wiped and the cleaning ladies were really very nice. Since we no children with us, I am not interested in it, but it was in any case a program for the little ones offered, for example in the evening a kind of children's disco;-) where a employee with the children danced and the impression the fun had!

    As mentioned, the beach and the sea were very clean. The pool was also okay, in the morning, I think it was always cleaned (I was only at the sea, so I can tell you about the pool say anything). Loungers and umbrella you could for 5 €(the day I think) rent, but you need not really, because the fine pebbles really good for loungers was! Shops were also abundant!

    So what was great, was the location of the hotel. If you went out on the terrace, then down to the pool, than you had to only one stairs down and already was one at the beach. The sea and the beach were very clean and really super! To the next place you had to not at all definitely, in Platja d'Aro some is ordered, whilst it with a snorkeling tour didn't work, but you could with a boat from the beach from to different bays and there for example snorkeling could. We were then when the jet skiing at the port from Platja d'Aro, shop and in good restaurants eat. Disco' s are also available!

    Large room with very large closet, no table or chairs, are on balcony. Beds old but the best mattress which I in 20 years vacation in Spain ever had, quality waterbed. Towels daily change you füßeln but, lower quality. Bath very big, clean but old worn mountings, joints dark and dirty ( mold?) the bathroom smells or better it smells sewage, not always however again and again. Is actually not acceptable. Safe for a fee, first week 35 and 2. Week 25 Euro.

    A dining hall for 300 room, way too small, queues for opening and almost entire opening hours. Dining room clean enough, chairs, cushions totally filthy and stained. Tables shaked partly very. Tablecloths and napkins clean. Staff gives itself much strives quickly is however totally overwhelmed. Quality of the dishes still acceptable, little peppered, several dishes, partly simple tough or heavy meat. Salad bar well equipped. Cakes and desserts wide choice and good. Juice and coffee machines subject 2 piece, are too few. Coffee just enjoyable, avoid instant coffee.

    Very nice gravel beach 1-5 millimeter over stairs reachable, with beach bar, chairs and umbrellas for ever 5 Euro per day, in the water rocks very nice for snorkeling, schwimmaufsicht. Center about 200 meters away.

Nice hotel, but a big lack of cleanliness and hygiene, especially in the rooms. There were both hair in bed (actually everywhere ), as well as huge dust and dreckberge under the bed. German nobody can in fact in the hotel, however the beach nice and a large the offer for discos and bars in the town was given. read more

The Food at this hotel was not appealing. It was something to eat, but had to overcome. The cleaning staff could not speak English. I was with a youth journey there, and we have got a quadruple. Me and my friends had but meaningless four hours for our room to be ready. And the fourth room was horrible. It was originally a two bed room. The hotel has just two beds came in. The room was too small. You could use the closets were not more, because a bed covering. As with the door to the terrace. You have to ... climb about the beds to achieve it. But otherwise the hotel was absolutely beautiful! read more

The only good thing about the hotel Caleta palace is It's proximity to the beach. (Unfortunately coarse-grained Pebble beach.) we were aware, that we can expect a luxury hotel, a clean, simple Hotel enough for us. The condition in which our room was, but exceeded all our worst expectations. The waste of our predecessors was not thrown away! We travel and much, outside Europe, something like in Caleta palace we have never seen anything like it. The room would be okay in size, the cleanliness and decor but an impertinence. The management of the hotel has taken our complaint ... not very serious. All our experiences would be enough to write down the place is not. The photographs speak for themselves. An older Hotel. It has a beautiful beach front location. The beach is clean and the water was clear. To the very long promenade is also not far away. Our room and bathroom were newly renovated. The room was very small. No storage space for the suitcases. Park only in the closet. The movement in the room was very limited. The balcony was very nice we had booked a room with ocean view, but only had a partial view of the ocean. The staff was very friendly. Also in the dining room were all very nice. The tables were cleared ... entry and also with fresh tablecloths. The food was not to our satisfaction. It lacked change. The breakfast was okay. Only butter does not exist for breakfast. The parking lot is very large but also very expensive (12.00 euro on the day). But you can also in the area. read more

So all in all the hotel makes a good first impression, we had our own arrival and the huge parking lot is, if you over Neckermann Bay free, otherwise I think about 150 euro for ten days.HCLFHLInc, front desk, lobby. great. Free Wireless in the lobby, many seating possibilities, and so on. ideal for knotzen and chat.-front desk rather gruff, but short and uncomplicated! -Two elevators but take a long time, steps better use-rooms are great, not the newest but clean, large and well equipped. Room was an ocean view ..., although we didn't booked, very nice, cleaning and cleaning staff was very friendlyHCLFHLWe had all inclusive. so, if I had something to complain about so I to the food and the dining room. was bland, overcooked and always the same. the best fries and vegetables:-)it is edible. The dining room itself was very cramped when many people are staying there, it is also only very slow and there is a shortage of crockery and cutlery. We were looking for a restaurant and ate. incidentally, top restaurants in the area. Also nearby are countless shops, bars, Mc Donalds, SCHLECKER. Clothes, FC Barcelona shop and so forth. it is missing at nothing! The place is ideal for young and old! In the town is about two minutes walk! IDEAL. Back to the hotel. We were two couples and two children! The hotel was not convincing. Entertainment by the entertainers always, dancing for children, makeup, a playground, colorful drinks etc. really perfect! More suitable for families on the whole! Environment: 100 kilometer to Barcelona, about 30 kilometer to the Marineland (dolphin.) & aqualand (slides.), about two kilometer in another aqua park (weren't there), 30 kilometer to lloret de Mar (super city center, more young people. and so on). The food improvement, and it would have been good if the staff some English as we would also partly with school Spanish weiterkamen as Catalan spoken! The hotel H top Caleta palace is a hotel, its location is wonderful. On the one hand, the fantastic beach, to be accessed through a staircase of the pool can get and partying on the other side of the hotel (facing the streets) you can shop or go without end, although one of the partying, in the hotel and get nothing. Among other things, the city consists of more pubs than to discen. The reception was friendly, but only spoke English, you could communicate. The rooms are large, with a tv, air conditioning, balcony, hair-dryer. The bathroom is also big ... with two fairies star appointed, but I think, that it is not in every room. The food in the hotel is okay, but no more than that. It is repeated constantly and it is mostly fish. However, the food was toward the end of our vacation better. One could say, that it was okay. Do not be deterred from, because the Hotel is perfect-great location. Also from the inside very maintained, an Internet corner is available, costs however 20 minutes two euro. My family and I can recommend this hotel, especially for the price-performance standards, top hotel-) read more

The hotel was actually good. The location of the hotel is very well located and the private beach is a big plus for the hotel, but the food and the variety of the food, left a lot to be desired as well as the set time, the food is rather redundant and not appropriate. Just as I would have liked the bar-not, as all inclusive guest drinks inclusive may, not later than 24 o'clock. Nevertheless I would people, the Playa de ARO want to travel, to recommend this hotel, as the price/performance ratio is okay.
