Nice hotel, the part. Somewhat outdated works. Not all areas have been refurbished. The new renovated rooms are however against very good! Only the old furniture could also be changed. read more

    The first room we had (315) was a classic and was not among the freshly renovated rooms with a view of the sea, however rather to the category old, musty and wow what a beautiful parking! Disturbing was the indefinable odor, from the closets which came us also had moved to alter. We were happy in one of the new room for the rest of the vacation to be allowed to spend. Even with a view of the sea! A renovated superior room is anyway recommendable. I would when booking with questions!

    We booked half board and were from the breakfast, as well as dinner disappointed. The breakfast was typically Italian and offered little variety. Much white bread, little healthy. The coffee was partly. Not enjoyable. The dinner turned out to be a facade for gutklingende dishes dar, the in the course of the week again and again under another name emerged. Really but only the sauce of the monday warmed up, other pasta cooked and just a other name given, the often sounded as if one would have still never before dinner. Unfortunately there is a the whole week so back, so we were glad we were a evenings a conventional, homemade brick oven pizza in a restaurant at the port from portoferraio eat, the any court on the menu of the hotel Desiree in the shade,. At least was it. Also the felt 20 waiter on a square meter constantly on the rush, so that a quiet food only was due. But that was difficult, if at the next table the small children loudly their frustration about the food treatment.

    The front desk, as well as all the employees were very polite and accommodating. The hotel has a lot of parking spaces, also free of charge.

    The pool is excellent! Nice and big and also not fully manned. The quality of the water here is also very clean. However salt water, but it stinks not to chlorine. Who thus rather laps in the pool wanted to swim instead of in the sea, the here wonderful do. There are also two tennis courts, the during our time hardly been used, however clean and tidy were. An hour tennis costs 15 Euro. Rackets and balls included. Wifi is in the hotel free of charge, however you have to at the front desk the code to access in the form of small papierschnippel get, the only for 90 minutes shall apply. Afterwards you have to go back to the front desk and a new code to get itself. Very annoying for vielsurfer! The fitness area, the four devices stock, is located in the outdoor area of the hotel, and resembled rather a bus station. The equipment were already old and run down. Rust devices there is also no coincidence!

    The hotel is very beautiful on the bay of Elba location. From the port portoferraio it was about 15 minutes and one gets to the drive there a magnificent impression the island. The small private beach of the hotel is super and for all there was enough chairs and umbrellas, of course, free of charge to use, except for the towels! The you get on loan from the lifeguard! For food, the juicy bar directly at the beach.

We were for the 8 time in on Elba, but for the first time in the hotel Desiree. The hotel we can unreservedly recommend. The hotel is beautiful at a small bay with its own beach located. Every room has its firm couches, sun screen and parking. The rooms are big enough with a balcony on the seaside. The room, the beach and the whole complex is very clean. All of the staff are very friendly and are willing to help. The food is varied and tasty. 4 courses with selections. Good and reasonably priced wine list. The prices at ... the hotel's own beach bar are very cheap. A cappuccino 1,50 Euro and a foccachia (enough as detail for in between for two people) costs 4,50 Euro. Our opinion is, if you stay here to complain about has, finds something to suspend or assessed not objectively. Very recommendable. read more

Location directly on the private sandy beach in the spartaia bay in procchio. Main building and 2 side building, different room-categories. Above the hotel the coastal road (partly noisy). Breakfast there is the garden restaurant, dinner in the restaurant of the main building. Guests too many from Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, age of 18-80. Big plus: every room has its own car park in the courtyard (covered). read more

    The room was big enough, balcony with 1 small table and 2 chairs, view of garden, pool and sea. Tv-program on German: ARD, ZDF and Deutsche Welle. Decor: double bed, table, armchair, desk, big closet. The bathroom well equipped with real shower stall with doors glass, daily change of towels, even if you it not at all wanted. Air conditioning worked well.

    2 restaurants + 1 beach bar + 1 bar. The food in the evening was a menu serves: Appetizer, 1. and 2. course selectable under 4 dishes (always fish thereby), Dessert from the car - cakes, creams, fruit, unfortunately no cheese). Italian cuisine the higher art, however sometimes a bit bland seasoned. Drinks extra, wine quite expensive (the cheapest bottle of about 20 €). The atmosphere was a bit hectic, as much serving staff on the way was. The breakfast was a bit boring, there daily the same 2 sausage- and cheese were offered, no tomatoes or other vegetables, as usual.

    Staff were friendly, partly German or English, the communication wasn't a problem. The rooms found on time in the morning instead of, in addition the dinner the beds covered and the bathroom tidy.

    No animation, for us a plus, no water aerobics more. The beach was clean, the entrance, shower and toilet available, per room 1 umbrella + 2 loungers ( always the same), on request also a free cabin. The towels had to be paid, per piece 1.50 Euro. The places stayed in the pool area almost always empty, enough chairs and loungers, but little umbrella, tables and chairs at the pool in the grass. Courts between garden and pool, directly in front of one of the houses.

    The sandy beach borders directly at the garden at. The next town is procchio. Unfortunately in the hotel there is no shops, not even postcards, only the free maps with hotelabbildung. In procchio there is a supermarket, a variety of bars and souvenir shops. From the hotel a free shuttle bus there (travel time approximately 5 to 10 minutes). Many possibilities for excursions, as safe the majority of the guests the own car thereby have.

very good hotel, great beach, each with its own beach chair umbrella and eventual own changing rooms, very quiet, because no choice street, direct by the pool with sea water, really magnificent kitchen. read more

The location is great, it is a pity, that the staff for a more expensive hotel offering is hopelessly underqualified. Quality and taste of the food are rather bad for Italian standard, especially on the sea, daily fresh fish, there was not daily and sometimes frozen à la Carte menu. for lunch is very good, but outrageously expensive therefor. Wine selection was sad. Conclusion: if you are looking for size of room, service and food you want a big, then the hotel is OK. read more

Very beautiful hotel-great location directly at the sea.. Pool and grounds very good. tennis courts. not recommended very good food, service was good. prices at the bar high, almost rude for mini-bar was already. also with these drawbacks very recommended. read more

The hotel is ideal for a quiet beach holiday! The hotel is located in a great small bay. The beach is very clean, the water was very clear. Breakfast and dinner left nothing to be desired. The room are very clean. It is good parking available, if you arrive with the own car. The room are described in the catalog with a partial ocean view shown, it is but actually a direct ocean view, because the building were built on the side of the sea. read more

We were there in the off season (mid-May) there, because it was very quiet everywhere, it were still not all the activities. The situation in the bay is beautiful and quiet. By the central situation one can explore the island from there very well. The bus service is very good, so you need no car comes also clear. The breakfast was of a good standard for Mediterranean region, the dinner (4-course menu) tasty and varied. To emphasize are the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. For us the day of our departure was not a small single room was made ... available, in the we leave luggage and shower (low season!). This single room would not book we but on, because it is very small. Also the cleanliness is absolutely commendable, both in the hotel and also in the outdoor area. The only negative were from our point of view the bicycles. Can the be used free of charge, are relatively small and are all but for the hilly island not really suitable. read more
