Were for five days on Big Island and did not regret it Hilton booked. Very big complex with several units (stayed in the ocean tower untergebraucht ).
The complex is in our opinion very well-kept and nicely arranged, lots of flowers, palm trees and grassy areas. To to the rooms or restaurants to get a small trolley drove, as well as boats.
We liked the most the lagoon like. This loads for snorkelling and relax. The loungers and towels are free of charge, only the beach chairs you could have to pay dearly. Pedal boats, snorkeling equipment you could expensive ... can be rented.
Neither at the pools still in the lagoon we had a problem free chairs to find. Despite the size of the hotel it came us never crowded or full. Evening were isolates shows or performances different artists.
Stayed at the italian food, quality and service were great, but what the prices concerns, partly way too expensive.
The problem with the dolphins we saw, here we are of the same opinion as other holidaymakers, much too small pool for the animals. The dolphins could just few laps swim in circles, have hardly freedom of movement.
All in all we were very satisfied and would stay there again, unfortunately had much extra and very expensive be paid. Wi-fi (with our syphons and iPad) was unfortunately only ' public areas ' in the hotel available, in the room only with cable. read more

The hotel has 1240 rooms, is a large area, in which you can lose your way (from the main entrance to to our room 10 minutes on foot). But a train and boats offered, the to various locations of the hotel transport, if you don't want to walk.
The whole area was great laid out and very clean. The pool area and the garden were beautiful to look at.
The room, the we had was great. It was large, with a couch, desk and very nice balcony with a view of the pool area and the sea. The room and ... the bathroom was very clean and pleasantly furnished.
We had only booked overnight stay.
By the size of the hotel were all alterstrukturen and nationalities.
By the enormous size of the hotel it seemed also very impersonal. read more

Huge hotel close to kona with over 3000 rooms and 3 massive building complexes. Even if the whole hotel well designed, we found it all together but relatively neglected. We had breakfast option. This was as a buffet and was actually the best part of hotel. read more

The level of this portfolio, you can in few words summarize: superlative. We stayed here 4 nights as a part of our hawaii Iceland hopping tour 2012 and from all hotels, we on this occasion had booked, this was the absolute highlight! A giant Areal closet with several separate unterkunftskomplexen, the on foot, via regular monorailservice or by boat to circulating channels accessible are here the feeling, in a town with a very diverse gastronomic of all shades and a very generous shopping offer equipped. It is for breakfast/lunch/dinner, or just for a bar visit: for every need, every wish ... and every price range is here something in an environment, which is artificially arranged, but always paradise of course works. A varied designed entertainment, organized daily, from swimming with dolphins to evening folkloreveranstaltungen everything was represented. If you don't want or need at the time of enough room, the extensive walks out of the way to go, play golf or the huge pool-because of its dimensions-than those hardly more is recognizable. Actually should be rather than man-made lagoon with maximum of course-acting development designate. The complex is so perfect, that one almost the desire could, here the whole time to spend, which in the light of this, what the island otherwise still has to offer, would be a great error. The hotel complex reminds almost a theme park. It is huge.
You can take a train and also with small boats by the hotel complex go.
Everything is very spacious, but exceptionally beautiful laid out.
The hotel complex is very clean and tidy.
Here left nothing to the imagination.
You will find various restaurants. There is something there for any taste.
Very nicely laid out pool areas.
The hotel's own lagoon with the sea turtles and the lots of colorful fishing is very recommendable.
There is a quiet pool only for the adults.
Here vacations too many americans (families) and ... japanese (couple).
The only negative are the prices:

the complex the hotel is really incredible. A small the train or vessels guests from A to B. This massive area find conceivable comfort his place, lots of different restaurants, a large pool area, a natural lagoon, a little, the non-existent beach replaced, and lots of fish and giant turtles scored, the dolphin pool, a quiet pool, etc. etc. But of course you do with direser area three times, if you had everything, because again the room took a good half hour.
more than half of the guests were Japanese and Chinese, so of course all labels always in English ..., Japanese and Chinese are. read more

We had a room in the ocean tower with a view of the sea and the sunset. Check in has problem-free folded, there were about 7 switch manned. German in the hotel at reception not spoken. So you must speak English! With the hotel's own course one drives then in his tower ( the hotel is massive!). Car you can at the valet parking when you leave, for a weggeparkt, costs but very much. We have ourselves for self decided, what about 8$ cost has per day. Bags were brought to the room and also picked up again! In the ... hotel are numerous restaurants. We were once in the restaurant in the dolphins Burgers, was relatively expensive but OK. There are several pools on the 3 tower distributed, with slides, water falls, Suspension bridge, etc. Temperatures optimal! We had a king size room-it was huge. The bathroom had a bath tub and toilet. The vanity was outside. Mini Fridge available! Room was 1 times per day cleaned. Air conditioning very silent! Size of balcony appropriately with screen door, super! Punctually at dawn started the birds at wild loszuzwittern in inner courtyard of ocean towers. Such a volume of birds we have never heard of. Crazy! We were with our decision, a few more euros (approximately 140 Euro/ night) for this dream hotel spend, very happy! Really recommendable hotel! We would gladly come again! read more

The hotel is really just super, the rooms are world class! The seating area is awesome, we had a jr. Suite with a view of the sea. The rooms have all a balcony, air conditioning, fridge and large bathroom.
The hotel is for children/adolescent/adults designed, the pool (altogether 8 piece of!) Are large, there are 'river' & slides, hot tubs and everything else. Whoever his absolute were looking for peace could also to the ' adault pool' go access from 21 years!
Only negative connotation are the prices:
All for 2 people;
Breakfast 62 American Dollar
Food lunch 50 American ... Dollar
Dinner 80-120 American Dollar
Guest parking 15 American Dollar from day
Drink by the pool or on the complex:
Cola, water, etc. 4 American Dollar (no refill!)

There are also some shops in the hotel however, also here up to 300% rash in comparison to Walmart!
Tip by car to kona and Walmart drive ☺ somewhat favorable it goes also into the about 4 minutes (car) from the child's/ queensshops there, there are a supermarket (a little cheaper around 100 to 150% to Walmart!) But also a footcourt with subway, arbys, etc.)
We were often at kingsshop area in the Italy-place (maccaroni grill ) great food, tastes simply only ingeniously! (prices of 15 to 30 American Dollar per person + tax drink and tip!)

We were in the last five years for the third time this year in this hotel because it an absolute dream and we us is like in paradise happen. Reasons for this:
1. Very stable and good weather (between 22 and 30 °C with a light breeze)
2. Unbelievable garden in the you could spend hours walking can and can see a wide variety of plants and animals.
