Surely the best address in santiago, on details you should not have a look. Me has for example very annoyed, that on the 9. floor where for guests an internet room is available, constantly only the staff on computer sat. Storm damages the recent hurricanes (broken windowpanes) were only poorly sealed. Apart from that you can here very comfortable, especially if one before the alternative like for instance. In this hotel there were we in the course of a round trip for 2 nights. I had a double room for single occupancy with a great view over the city.
The check in folded smoothly and the general service was very good. The best hotel in the course of our round trip.
The room was big us clean. In the bathroom was all important available and no mold visible.
The restaurant was top! Different kinds of fish and meat at the live cooking plus finished prepared dishes. As weizenallergiker i can unfortunately nothing to bread and pasta say, but ... nevertheless i am more than full became. The waiters were polite and fast.
The pool area was large enough for a city hotel and also the towels were sufficient and in very good condition available. The happy hour of the pool bar was very good visited and nevertheless it was a very quiet, relaxing stay.
Unfortunately the bar was on the roof closed for repair. The damage of last hurrikanes are still in the whole region to feel.
Internet per wi-fi or in the computer area, which unfortunately not bolt was open. Speed on the computer (6 cuc per hour) sufficient, wi-fi (12 cuc/2 hour ) however only in the lobby and not permanently stable available. read more

Melia Santiago is well suited for Cuba-tours. From the bar in the 15th floor you have a wonderful view city views. To to the center you have to go to some minutes on foot go. read more

Hotel for 2 nights as a part of the round trip visited. Great hotel, looks from the outside quite modern, also beautiful inside. Complex small, but neat. Room/bathroom large and clean, easier musty odor in the room. Couple once aired, then it was OK. Food and selection were very good. Service also very good. read more

Very modern and relatively new hotel on the edge of town, a microworld for tourists with currency exchange, roof, shops, shallow pool etc. Friendly and competent at the front desk, quick handling, manager speaks german. Restaurant with piano-live music for dinner and champagne for breakfast, everything was delicious and of good quality. Cold dishes were cold and the hot hot enough. Only good hotel on the whole team, however. I personally in the room 5 (five) scrape (cockroaches) killed. We have the luggages not open stand let could. Unfortunately! Because the hotel not in the city center is recommended by ... taxi or by vintage cars (6 cuc ) to the center (reparto Palau) to drive the casa de la trova for example (original cuban tradit. Music in style of buena vista social club, entry 10 cuc, dance fun, smoke permitted) or casa de las tradition (Tivoli) or disco casa de la musica. read more

The hotel is for a Cuba-round trip-stay really recommendable, rooms were for Cuba okay.
The food in the restaurant was delicious and diverse with buffet and various frontcooking-stations as pasta, fish, meat and so on
Especially the roof terrace with its nice view over Santiago liked it. ( of course the cocktails)

The hotel is in good condition. The rooms are spacious and very clean. It is everything available what you need ( safe, fridge, tv). The staff are mostly friendly and helpful. The pool is large and there are plenty of loungers available. The hotel lies relatively central, so that restaurants and options for shopping in a couple of minutes on foot easy to reach are. On Cuba this was the only thing city hotel which we had booked. The hotel is recommendable, however we prefer the Casa particular (private accommodation)- are very clean, great value and the food is great. read more

Our round trip Cuba from west to east, went with 2 nights melia Santiago to end. On the whole the requirements hotels upscale comforts fair: spectacular bar with views of the roof on the 15th floor,
Lobby bar with attractive musical entertainment and a pleasant restaurant with a wide selection tasty dishes inclusive fresh preparation. All rundreisehotels it tasted us here at the best.
Our room (224) was okay, inclusive safe and fridge. The air conditioning switched we at night and had the window open just a little, but we didn't disturbing noise from the street noticed.
If you simply ... follows that undertaking, something anmeckern to have, could be over or other something' scruffy' place in the bath to excite. We didn't done, because the overall impression was very good and we enjoyed it a lot here.
It was a beautiful end of our round trip - now it could only of a subsequent seaside holiday in the Playa Costa Verde getoppt be. read more

The high rise building scared first. But rooms with bathroom, for Cuban proportions good. Definitely on the roof terrace in the 15 floor. Night you can easily relaxation and a magnificent view over Santiago de Cuba.
Dining room very big and noisy. Tip: you can also on the terrace sit, without noise and air conditioning. Much fish grilled! read more

Such a great hotels, above a great roof terrace with bar and happy hour times. Great cocktails, great food, friendly staff, there was everything. As a part of a round trip it was to this hotel devious.
The hotel in the beautiful city of santiago was extremely good.
The outdoor facilities are very well maintained.
The food is varied and tasteful.
The whole ambiance is very pleasant.
But!, the best part is the bar with an outdoor area on top of the hotels.
Night at sunset in this beautiful city Mojito on the roof terrace, there is hardly anything nicer.
The trip from Neckermann, incidentally, the best cubarundreise the one can get, we had in several cities superior hotel.
But the in santiago was ... the most beautiful hotel.

By far the best hotel on our 2 week Cuba round trip!
all recommendable nonetheless. Very modern (transportation to escalator!) furnished, beautiful rooms, beautiful pool. Especially I would like to highlight the massive buffet in the restaurant. I had rarely seen such a great Choice of as high quality seen. And of course the rooftop with a view of the city. At any time gladly again. read more

In the evening on the roof of the hotel Melia Santiago de Cuba with good cigar and mojito with view of Santiago de Cuba alone is an unforgettable experience! Room spacious, the bathroom was okay. It was the best hotel of our round trip from east to west with Thomas cook! Discreet Piano music at breakfast and dinner pleased anytime again in the spacious Beautifully appointed restaurant, the seat must approaches are so arranged gege, that other groups not with oversized nearby nerves. Food selection and quality was one of the best, what we could have included Varadero Cuba. Even ... the white bread was fresh and pastries crunchy. The hotel struck us! We were in Santiago de Cuba, a city, is not impressed us with beauty and not so, that there is a hotel like this. The lobby, the bar, the hotel itself is nicely decorated and welcoming and exclusive.
The room was average size, nicely decorated. It had an air conditioner, which made at a temperature of 30 °C and the high humidity life more pleasant.
The bathroom was a little small, but clean and well maintained. You saw some signs of usage (for example at the sink), but everything was clean and tidy cleaned. The estimated ... and the maid gave us a good tip.
The restaurant impressed us very much! After various restaurants during our Cuba, we saw a high Western standard in the middle of Cuba. It was wonderful! The offer, both for breakfast, as well as for dinner, was very, very good! We did not, we should try first. Various meat, pasta, salads, freshly prepared dishes (for example, fish), meats and cheeses, dips, different bread and pizza, fresh fruit (local Mango, pineapple, papaya, etc.) and a great cakes/cake and much more! at the moment it was still nice, so pampered.
The hotel is for our standards were cheap and recommendable! it offers a high level of comfort, high standard and made our stay in Santiago de Cuba nice! read more
