Wonderful days in Istanbul in a central location

The hotel is distinguished by its excellent location. It is rather quiet and yet centrally located by the blue mosque, from where one can quickly the public transport use to explore Istanbul. Around the Blaue Moschee there are many restaurants and bars. Same goes for the immediate area of the hotel. The area where the hotel lies seems in comparison to other areas Istanbuls very relaxed, although our visit in the winter was. The rooms are somewhat noisy. We had our roommate however luck. It was quiet at night. The rooms store, and not really a, there were longer stay. ... They are too small. But who in Istanbul is, has lots to see, that you except to sleep, not too long. Of us a clear recommendation, despite small faults recommendable. read more

Very beautiful hotel would book it again any time. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast bufett. Only the rooms are a bit small. Ideal for short stays. Wonderful view from the terrace read more

Clean hotel in the direct vicinity of the old town ( Hippodrom, Blaue Moschee, Hagia Sophia) with friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately it was at night on the street noisy (children, vorbeigehende persons etc.) , but the hotel cannot affect. Traffic was in front of the hotel hardly. The most beautiful is the rooftop terrace with a great view of bosphorus and the minarets of the blue Mosque. read more

The hotel offers in winter only breakfast at. How that is supposed to be other seasons appears, I don't know. read more

    I had with my friend a double room, really smallorder the bed around the spacing to wall only about half a meter. There was no chairs. the air conditioning has excellent heated and the room and bathroom were clean. the mini bar was filled, but they did not used. as the TV works, has not been developed, but the Wi-Fi worked smooth. the furnishing the room has already a few years old, for a short trip but after Istanbul absolutely sufficient.

    The breakfast left a good impression, very typical of the country. Unfortunately the coffee not enjoyable (soluble coffee from a machine). the atmosphere in the breakfast room is great, because of the cold have always fireplace and you had a view of the Bosphorus and the blue Mosque.

    the staff were friendly and it was easy to get to ask in advance by e-mail (English) response. The Shuttlevervice from the airport is only 4 nights from free of charge, if you the room directly on the homepage of the hotel, apart from that it costs per Direction 25 euros. the towels were daily changed, bathroom and rooms cleaned. A loose toilet seat was daily 'fixed', however unsuccessful. if you have a reasonably priced local searches, you shouldn't at the front desk advice. We were in the expensive location opposite of the hotel skilled. In 5 einminütiger distance we had a very good and significantly cheaper eaten. the in-house Hamam we didn't tested.

    on foot you can without any problems the large sights Istanbul (the blue Mosque, hagia Sophia, grand bazaar, topkapi palace) away. Also the offer of restaurants is sufficient.

    We had room 306 and were content thereby. Could even by a Hausspalt the sea see. rooms are small, but functional. A bit noisy in the hotel, but nursery no cars or other Noise from the outside.

    we had booked accommodation with breakfast and were totally surprised the Super great Selection. In the morning there was everything, that you need to awake and fit for the day. From yoghurt three kinds of fruit up to verse. Cheeses and sliced vegetables, as well as Bread and pastries, muesli and eggs. coffee, Tea and mineral water, as well as juices stood also to choose from. everything very clean and well presented.

    the service staff was very nice and accommodating. From three night on request a free shuttle bus for a pick-up at the Ataturk airport offered. Better than getting into a city trip trip not be.

On a turning the "Kükük Ayasofa Cad. " (Cayiroglu Sk. No.25, www.artefes.com ), is this 3 star hotel right below the Hippodrome near to the "Arasta Bazaar's". Very nicely renovated, old Istanbul and breakfast terrace on the top floor, elevator available (awesome view). I had the corner room 303, actually a double, booked as a single. Spacious living room, bathroom with shower adequate space. What I do not like the synthetic pillows and the cover (might be hygienic might be better). We had temperatures of 26 ° (in November! ) and it was unpleasant to sleep. All ... in all: Bravo, breakfast selection enough; also here 3 * standard. Another tip: across the street is the "Yeni Marmara cafe", oriental atmosphere with wonderful view of the sea. read more
