Very good excursions, since the hiking bus and Kärntenkart many possibilities for hiking and excursions in the area made possible! We were always with a baby carriage and a dog on the way! We could wonderful relax! Gladly come again! read more

Really nice hotel with outstanding restaurant. Clean, bright and modern room. Well-kept, spacious sauna facility. Friendly and competent staff. A small, but varied winter sports region ( Ankogel) at the place, a snow-assured large winter sports region ( Mölltaler Glacier ) nearby. A boss, the guests with sensational tips assist... All together probably the perfect place for a perfect skiing vacation. read more

We stayed for a week in the new part of the tavern Eggerhof in mallnitz (it is also the main building, which we can't comment on that). As will offer favorable in Austria and our requirements for our holiday period( half board, 4 beds, ski pass etc.) I had worried about the quality and cleanliness made. But in vain: the rooms were daily cleaned, the sauna area and restaurant were always clean and we had enough room and features (ski area, spa area, kids room, TV room with game console). in terms of the information we were nice and ... we were all explained and various brochures distributed. To the departure hard-working the host in the hotel and restaurant always a lot of friendliness and courteous. the tavern is located 7 minutes by bus from the winter sports region Ankogel away. For beginner this is winter sports region definitely not to be recommended. There are only 2 blue slopes at the bottom of the hill (with very many youth groups) and a small Slopes above the tree line. The valley is only red or black Runway to be overcome. More blue slopes can be found with 40-minute bus ride to the mölltal glacier, where it is safe for beginner exciting is. The ski bus goes in the morning there was only shortly after 9 hours once there. One comes with 2 trips in the afternoon (until 16 or 17 hours). Cost 5 euros per person for the bus. Mallnitz is a small village, where you not that much undertake can. But after a long day skiing you usually don't want. There are also cross-country ski runs and (at least) a trail. all in all we were very satisfied with the tavern Eggerhof, as well as the attached restaurant, where we daily a( normal) breakfast buffet, as well as evenings a 3-course menu being served. In any case recommendable. read more

The eggerhof (a main building and a new building) is a very clean, well-run hotel. Also the older spaces are very well maintained. there are rooms in the main building and in the new building. We had a room in the main building with half board. The guests are completely different Origin (Poland, Romania, Denmark, Holland, Germany, Austria etc.), the age structure was also mixed. read more

    Our double room was in the new building large enough for two people. We had also a couch and coffee table. The beds are good. The bath is rather small, but everything clean and functional. The room always during breakfast cleaned, therefore, you didn't bother us.

    There is a restaurant, in the breakfast and dinner are taken. Breakfast in buffet form (selection is adequate, very good fresh Whole Wheat bread, fresh fruit would have nice) and three-course dinner having regard to the choice of 3 main courses including salad buffet. The food was very and a lot of good, only the desserts were a bit too much (cream) with whipped cream made, but that is really matter of taste! it was next to normal Draft beer also a dark, naturtrübes beer, which we really enjoyed. Good selection of wines. unfortunately our week of vacation in the evening hardly something going on, because the majority of the guests early went to sleep. But basically You can even after the food very nice and comfortable sit together.

    All in the house from the family S. to front desk, all service staff and cleaning staff were without exception friendly had a wish, and open ear. In fact, since we believe that the rooms had to, that we like to snowshoe hiking, already places for a department reserved and all information already in the check in communicated. as mentioned one of the most friendly House!

    In the new building are a new Sauna area with two different saunas and a very beautiful, spacious sunbathing area. Towels to be available provided. The sauna area is really very beautifully designed and we did daily use. We were really very pleased, because straight this range in guest farm and guest houses often not at all available or only small. This sauna area can compete with 4 star hotels. Normally the sauna on Saturday and Wednesday closed.

Stayed in August 2011 for hiking and adventure vacation (canyoning, rafting.) in mallnitz. We have felt ourselves very well. Had booked half board and the food was always great. The hiking bus system we found great. If we had known, it would even worked smoothly we arrived by train. Special thanks also to Sabine, the front desk cared for us and also booked the excursions and activities, Wanderbuspläne has a raft. Total nice is the spacious sauna area, not as in some cellar room was squashed in a hotel! We had a fantastic vacation and would stay here again ... in a heartbeat. read more

the hotel consists of 3 buildings: Main house, guest house and new building (Please when booking note.) The new building, as the name suggests, was newly built in the year 2009. the rooms in the neighboring house were 2009/2010 renovated. Adjoining building and new building are directly together and is only 1 minute walk away from Main Building. cleanliness stood in the hotel constantly in the first place. We have half board booked. the average age was in our travel time( end of July/ Early August) at approximately 40. There were all nationalities represented: German, Austrians, Dutch and Italian. ... All were very friendly; there was no negative experiences. read more

    We have a double room booked and received a vacation apartment without kitchen. our room consisted of bedroom, Foyer, separate toilet, Bathroom and balcony; rough estimate about 30 meters². the rooms only 2009 renovated, wherein the dark wood ceiling perhaps rather have you want to remove. Up to this point was the room very modern furnished with light wooden furniture, spots and flat- tv. Also mattress covers, which we very much value, were available. What was missing were Balkontrenner , which some curious views have been able to avert. But what is not... you know already.

    the food - simply a dream. the restaurant is located in the main building. every day guests can choose from 3 different 4-course menus( regional Dish, Cross Court, vegetarian dish). 1 times a week there was even a 5-course choice menu. In the 2 weeks the menus never repeated. the staff are constantly cleanliness in the restaurant hard, stains or food leftovers were so neither on the tables, the salad buffet to find. From the quality of the food one must itself simply convince myself; I have never seen so tasty food in this hotel. the beverage prices are moderate and normal for the area; the glasses always up to the calibration mark filled. It is a shame, that there was no restaurant- terrace returns. But that which is not, may yet be.

    the staff met us always very friendly and was also for in or other Joke. The foreign languages English and Italian were fluent controlled. It should forgive me, I probably have forgotten, further dominated foreign languages to mention. Also a child care is available. the rooms were cleaned daily (except Sundays) and the change of towels took place on Tuesday and Saturday. So these were the facts. We found it not so bad, that on Sundays the rooms hadn't been cleaned, as our cleaning staff did her job so well, that we gladly a day peace per week allowed. Even the window were cleaned, if you the a or other with suntan creams smeared Hands it had alighted. Here, it should be mentioned, that the eggerhof value on good tool of the staff sets (vorwerk vacuum). Over the front desk we learned some inside tip the environment; at this point many thanks to Sabine and Markus for the great information. Crux of the matter lies in the cohesion of the staff, the in this hotel above average good. Absolutely respektwürdig .

    leisure offers are massively given: hiking, wheel/ E-biking, swimming, visit museums or simply the free hiking bus drive through the area. The Carinthia card makes it possible. Through this card, you can all sights in Carinthia and visit the stay at the Eggerhof even the free hiking bus by accident. Absolutely great This hiking bus, reliable, cheap, good. After a strenuous Day is a visit to the in-house sauna area recommendable. The visit you should in the morning at the front desk log on, so they could was open. A access to the internet is at the front desk possible or you simply have a laptop and uses the free Wi-Fi access in eggerhof is good.

Adjoining building and new building are directly together and is only 1 minute walk away from Main Building. cleanliness stood in the hotel constantly in the first place. We have half board booked. the average age was in our travel time( end of July/ Early August) at approximately 40. There were all nationalities represented: German, Austrians, Dutch and Italian. All were very friendly; there was no negative experiences.

    The town of mallnitz is located on the south side of the high Tauern at 1200 metres above sea level and is a absolute Paradise for hikers. Of mallnitz you can 3 different valleys hiking:-) ösental , tauerntal and Seebachtal . A absolute highlight it is hike the ankogel-the highest mountain in the immediate vicinity. Also for less experienced hikers are beautiful mountain tours with a magnificent view available. Easy access to the options for shopping. In Town approximately 5 minutes on foot from the Eggerhof is good, there is a supermarket, in which you quiet The snack for an extended hike can buy. Also Wolligger sport is here as very good Sportausrüster recommendable.

the room in the new building was very nice-especially the bathroom was because it was new very hygienic. The decor of the room was enough. The wellness area is new and wonderful and leaves nothing to be desired-however, you should know, that he is closed on Saturdays and Wednesdays (this is to avoid disappointment). The staff is friendly, helpful and made an effort, the wishes of the guests comply with. All in all a recommendable hotel! read more

    There are restaurants in most hotels and you can eat in other places, although i have found the food in the Eggerhof the best. There is a sport cafe in the village also. Quality is excellent, couldnt be cleaner in the Eggerhof you could eat off of the kitchen floor. Food for all guests and a wide range. Prices are very good and the atmosphere is fantastic.

    It is one hour from the airport at Klagenfurt, there is a supermarket, a chemist in the village. A short walk to the swimming baths and the ski shop. There are many things that can be done all year round ski and winter sports and hiking in the summer. Many excursions can be arranged and most are very local.

My family spent one week this January in Eggerhof Hotel and I hardly waited to express my true delight with everything that owners, family Supersberger provided to us , during this week. Accommodation, food, service, rooms and especially people in the hotel were at the highest level usually above the standards for some much more "exclusive " hotels we've been to throughout the past years. A hotel for families, in which one felt very well. The management of the Hotel lies in the hands of a family, the very kind service, without service somewhat intrusive works.
