The hotel lies rather on the outskirts of the town. Of the metrohaltestelle maresme el forum you walk about 10 minutes but is a clean, modern hotel but very quiet. Since we in the evening after approximately 10 hours sightseeing like reading in the hotel remain, is the location not a problem for us been. You the nightlife of the city join in, was the long way home surely not everyone thing.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the room always clean, and in the evening i gladly in the bathtub relaxed. Wireless internet works perfectly in the room, we ... enjoyed every morning on the extensive breakfast in the bistroähnlichen restaurant looking forward to it. But we opted for a newsletter with address logged and got the 2. breakfast free.
We would choose the hotel again and can recommend it.

Almost a top hotel
Great style hotel with pool on the roof with some sun loungers and bar, the cleanliness on the rooms could be better. Breakfast buffet much and everything you for a good start need. The location is ok. , 10 minutes to metro and 15 minutes to the beach. Otherwise the direct environment pretty dead. read more

Nice hotel. We stayed over the weekend in Barcelone. Have the hotel elected, because I of Melia a voucher for a Freinacht got. Apart from that we would have probably a more central hotel elected.
When we first called, around our late arrival announce, we were only once shocked. The guy at the telephone couldn't speak English. Well, then just the school Spanish once again resume.
But it was all good and the other employees could also all good English or we stayed in a medium spoken.
The pool on the roof terrace was of course great, however only until ... 19 o'clock open.
The rooms are modern and in very good condition.
The breakfast like all the Melia hotels super - great choice and very good from the taste. So starts the day well! read more

From the outside: well // from the inside: stylish design.
The hotel is some of the direct location away, is however a empfehlenswertze alternative and also well connected to the transport system (metro, tram, bus) connected. Recommended metro station (line 4) is not ' Selve Mar', such as from the hotel itself, but an afterwards = ' Marisme Mar', as it definitely easier to find and the path then not constantly left right, left, right again past gleichgesichtigen streets leads, but you are right on the giant shopping center 'diagonal Mar' out.
The check in took rather long at the ... front desk, marriage from passports all data and the system at the hotel-Computer are listed, as I saw in the waiting sometime impatient faces with the request, but from the back Office room simply a supportive colleague to call. The lobby is chic and ultra modern. The rooms (6 floor) to the apartments of the city look, it was OK. My room (602) was triangular, which I personally cool found, this was followed a large Waschbeckenareal and then the tub/shower area, very wide and adorned with flowers floating Bambusstock, I really like! Unfortunately there was a toilet brush, the I after three-time Hinstarren not found and not behind any ungewohntem design ahide like-) ( Something apparently there are. Lol.) for me as a single person no end of the world, but as a couple? Mmh. Well, there was worse, but nevertheless not completely hygienefreundlich. Through the channel one must set oneself somewhat laboriously durchzappen, marriage between local and international tv-channels, pay tv, tv breakdown by languages and so on zurechtfand, found then but at least RTL (even on channel 21, evenings then time on channel 16-) why always.!

The selection was stated already very small, the ordered fish was very tasty, you had to put (as often in the upscale catering usual) on the plate search. Since recommend I future guests rather advertised Sandwich in 5. 80 euros, costs only 1/3 of them and was in Iberico -style very delicious and made full.
I can recommend the giant shopping center 'diagonal Mar' around the corner ( about 10 minutes footpath), otherwise simply absolutely to the beach and also to the right till the city Barceloneta walk.
Bicycle for the real great bike trails are also a tip, you can do on the wegessrand vending machines with credit card payments and many other Points back.
The tram nearby Diagonal Mar drove nearly up to Sagard familia, which is also an attraction at hagenbeck is. The metro L4 to Barceloneta and then from there the double-decker sightseeing make, the stop is marked. This is really adventurous and fantastically beautifully, to see all of Barcelona's flair to share and enjoy.

Some rooms offer badtechnisch little privacy, as the bathroom door from transparent glass is... At least the disk next to of the toilet is frosted glass!
But after this complaint a room with 'normal' bathroom! I personally thought it was pleasant.
The roof terrace is very pleasant, but when you sit, you can see from the beautiful views nothing, as a high betonbrüstung the view blocked! The other hotels with a glass wall better solved.
The pool was sufficient, because if you do want to swim, you should a sportbad go.!
Underground about 5-8 minutes away. read more

The hotel lies not in the center, rather in the former industrial of the city along the coast, is however public from the center very easy to reach ( bus, tram, subway). Close to of the hotel is the shopping center Diagonal with various shopping and dining are offered.
Facilities of the hotel is very modern almost 'styled', there is a roof terrace with a pool with wonderful panoramic view. We stayed in a junior suite on the eighth floor used: the room is not in rooms, there is the 'day area', ' eating area',' Sleep area inclusive bath ... tub'and' care-inclusive toilet and shower' for family with small child suitable, a crib we were offered.

We booked this hotel for a city trip. Is a bit out of town, but with the underground, tram or bus to reach, nearest subway station gava seva de Mar about 5 minutes walk. Hotel consists of 10 floors, on the 11th floor is a small pool, a bar (the but was closed in December). Great overview of Barcelona. The hotel very futuristic decorated, but was very dated. A very attractive lobby, check-in and check-out were problem, very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are a little small, but very clean. Sink and mirror are in the room, the shower/bathtub ... and toilet and bidet were separated from the bedroom by a sliding glass door. Flat screen TV, safe, refrigerator in room. Windows open in the upper floor. View not as good as the hotel is located in an industrial zone. Breakfast buffet was very good in selection and presentation, a bit on the eye always got re-filled. We can recommend this hotel, as we felt the value for Barcelona is very good. read more

Overall a very nice hotel, especially for a relatively moderate price. If you like a bit 0815 design, don't need to be downtown must, looking for a place with a pool, for the 1 or other flaws a blind eye, this is a very good here. read more

The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area about a 10 minute walk from the metro station "Selva de Mar" away. Metro station is again about 8 mins to the beach. Around the hotel there are no restaurants or bars. From the beach you could on the promenade, if you were good on foot to the harbor or the "Rambla" on the countless bars and restaurants walking past. The restaurant at the hotel is very good but a little Pricey. The breakfast buffet is worth every euro! read more

The hotel is out, but in a very quiet residential area. Through the convenient location to the metro (about 10 minute walk) offering easy access to all major attractions in Barcelona. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection. The breakfast was only by air conditioning on a very low. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was cleaned each morning during breakfast. The view from the top of the hotel, where the pool area is beautiful. The pool looks good, a further rating because of the bad weather unfortunately, I can't give during my stay. Favorite but say that ... this hotel for a short break my opinion was very suitable. read more

Stylish. That would be the right answer to the question, this hotel with only one word the best summary to describe.
In fact for friends simple designs worth address in this apart from that not further the speech values quarter this vibrant city. Harmonious the language of the interior design of the lobby to the roof situated pool. Next to the very pleasing interior is of enormous richness embossed breakfast buffet, which inspire like. Varied the choice of meals and drinks- the service staff always make an effort.
Where light, as shade there is an old adage: in the case ... of the hotel Condal Mar is this in my opinion less in many critiques criticized, admittedly a bit out of the way location the house in a furthermore little attractive part of the city, as much more the some visible 'wear' furniture and other facilities of the building. Maintenance is of the hotel biggest fault! A circumstance, which in many hotels around the Mediterranean sea evident is.
Nevertheless: a recommended address for people with a certain claim of design, which is not due to the secluded location of the hotel disturb. read more

The surroundings of the hotel is not so nice, there were enough parking spaces therefor. At night there I would not walk around alone.
Nearby is a large shopping center with supermarket, there are a number of eating possibilities. Otherwise there is not much going on there. read more

We booked this hotel for a very reasonable price (118 euros/3 nights per person) booked at HolidayCheck and were perfectly happy. The hotel is in a somewhat remote area, but is only about 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro station "Selva Mar" away. The hotel has made the effort to keep the imposing impression there makes the pictures. We stayed on the 6th floor and had a nice view over the city. Check-in went smooth, we were made very welcome and the staff even partly German spoken. Otherwise, but everything worked well in English. Also were very friendly answered ... any questions about the attraction. The rooms are tastefully decorated. is a bit odd but the layout of the bathroom, as there are no lockable door. The bathroom is separated by a frosted glass wall of other rooms and only a Schwungtür blocked the view. Through a gap, but we could at any time whatâs going on in the bathroom adventuorous sounds or of course can also other smells teetered urgently needed in the bathroom. Looks stylish, but it was a bit of getting used to; ) Otherwise, there was also a nice roof deck with a pool and beach chairs. From the terrace you had a nice view over Barcelona. In the Vierteal St. Marti is otherwise not so busy. The nights but also very quiet. Nearby is a large shopping center "Diagonal Mar" and on the way to the beach there are some, small bars in which you Bocadillos U.S. Wireless. The metro takes about 20 minutes to the center. The beach is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. I would advise the hotel in any case, if you can book again for that price. read more

It is a very nice hotel. The room furnishings were great. The staff is nice, although the hotel does not speak German, but you could well communicate in English. The location is ideal, metro is a 5 -minute walk away, beach could be reached within 10 minutes. Nearby is very large shopping center, with lots of cafes and restaurants. Room and bathroom were very clean, towels were changed daily. What bothered us the most is internet and TV - you can go to the were putting in, either via personal laptop or through the telly but very inconvenient. We highly ... recommend no use above the TV, the keyboard quite difficult to operate. Also $24 hours use 9 Euro. Overall everything was okay. We'll be back! read more
