A very nice hotel for a few relaxing days in the impressive mountains around the Königssee. Very friendly, helpful staff, pleasant atmosphere especially at the fireplace bar, tasteful christmas and adventsdekoration. Very nice spa, as long as the hotel is not full (then a bit too small). We were 2. for a weekend in the IC Berchtesgaden. We stayed in a panoramic suite. Stunning view, great suite. Minibar (no alcoholic beverages) included in the price, nice train of the hotel! Only scales and heating in the bathroom were a bit wrong. Extremely friendly staff, at the building -connected ski school ( abfahrtsskiausrüstung 34 Euro/day, langlaufskiausrüstung 24 Euro/day). Also excellent breakfast buffet with great mountain views. Outstanding is also the spa area with a heated outdoor swimming pool, a steam room (with tidy steam), saunas, and an infrared cabin! Gladly come again! read more

Great hotel, unfortunately we found the check-in not particulary good! We were rushed and have also received statements when for example the breakfast hours are or where the restaurants are! This should be the standard include. The beverage prices are salted, but it can in the prices of the nights already thinking. We had flat on TUI and therefore have a lot saved, these as a tip.
The sauna and spa area, we were not so convinced. Carelessly designed and bare. There were also except a water dispenser no drinks or snacks (for example nuts) available.
Truly excellent food and ... the service is top notch! All in all a wonderful vacation. read more

Interconti Berchtesgaden is located far from everything, so if you decide to go there, be ready to walk by foot a lot, wait for the bus to Berchtesgaden city or rent a car, which probably will be a little bit dangerous because of winding roads. However, it's worth it to go to this place because the area is fantastic with all these high mountains, small rivers and very fresh air. It's the best place to rest from crowd, pollution and work. And the outside spa is amazing, especially in winter. read more

We wanted to the hotel as a part of a kurzbesuches knowledge; were right very friendly with a glass of sparkling wine from the very nice reception staff welcome. There some guests late left, we were as a part of an upgrade a kamineckzimmer assigned. Exactly the right thing for the winter romantic stay!
The spa area corresponds also to the hotel standard. The restaurant features wonderful kitchen and accommodating service.
We would gladly come again! read more

A really great hotel with very good breakfast buffet, but away from the town, so without a car difficult to reach. For hikers, winter sports fans certainly the great address. Strange i thought, the in my room the türseitigen belüftungsschlitze with cardboard and panzertape sealed were.
Otherwise a really nice hotel, the 5 stars but you should reconsider, whether the papppfusch, the service was not professional. read more

Starting our modest experience with this hotel at the reservation request. Directly at the hotel requested we got an offer on circa 1800 €for 4 days. With airtours we got the same room type to the same horrible conditon at for about 1100 €booked. Approximately € less on four days stay, we think very much. One carries a certain annoyance already on the way there with to the hotel.
The check in from a-roughly-quite new receptionist performed, some problems with of german had. Some information missing in its short introduction completely, for example over the parking spaces at the hotel ..., others were simply wrong. So she said us, the dinner as a part of our half board think in the restaurant 360 degrees celsius instead of, but, as we in the evening discovered, for 3 days was closed. Maybe a information, the the guests arrivals are to be communicated
The parking in front of the hotel parking is prohibited! As mentioned, the hotel is located on a small hill. The free car park is located at the foot of the hill! For families with small children is the an isolence. Every day we had with our 1.5 year old daughter this hill and down to our car to run. With a star hotel and the price must be a car park at the hotel but in it! I accept, that one in Munich or Berlin in the city centre for a hotel extra for a parking lot pay must, but not in the middle of nature, where i theoretically everywhere my car free park! No, the hotel buys the surface and leaves the own guests only for a fee park - an isolence! As said, we are not in the center. We are not time nearby a city! read more

We had a weekend and it everything was great. The hotel is in its construction really unique.
The room beautiful, with fireplace. The pool our daughter the best. Outdoor swimming pool heated, wonderful panorama.

Very beautiful hotel in a dreamlike location. Spacious lobby with 'wow factor'.
Our executive panorama studio was on the 3rd floor; the view of the surrounding mountains was sensational. The room itself, as well as the bathroom were very spacious. The furnishing, was all right however nothing special and worked partly already somewhat worn out and run-down. Without the breathtaking view, I would the room rather unspectacular rate.
A big plus were however the very pleasant and extremely service oriented staff and starting with the reservation, with the check in to the park/Bell service. Great the excellent breakfast buffet, this ... really left no wishes unfulfilled. The menus in the evening and the selection of wines in the restaurant 3' 60° were also excellent. Also here much praise goes to the very good, extremely attentive but nevertheless unobtrusive service.
All together, special. Because of the fantastic location and the great staff, a very nice hotel, the good and definitely book it again would; however I think the room price for a bit too high. read more

It has been much about this hotel written.
It is really, that the hotel is spectacular. Alone the massive fireplace in the lobby is an eye catcher, as well as the spacious and modernly decorated room. The wellness area is also worth seeing. It wasn't missing anything.
The breakfast what quality very good, however quantitatively in comparison to other intercontinental hotels ( Berlin / Hamburg) a little less.
What unfortunately much to be desired left, was the handling of a complaint.
We have already been in bed, as at 23:30 hours from the room opposite loud hundegebelle was to ... be heard. After 15 minutes later the gebelle still continued, informed we by telephone the front desk.
You would be so take care of it.
As a further 15 minutes later still nothing was done, was to the front desk and asked, why one anything it does.
I would have any reply, but not ' you are not fussy, we can our guests but not prohibit a dog with to get '. My instruction on the night's sleep was by the young front desk employees skillfully ignored. Instead I was comforted, that you 'therefore care'.
After the gebelle further 30 minutes which lasted, this time I went together with my wife down to the front desk. This time we requested the manager on duty, which but unfortunately specially 'in the house unterwegs' was.
A room changing was because of the supposedly fully booked hotels also not possible.
The young receptionist was even snotty, when my wife asked him, if you don't dog during the night in a separate area at the tagungszentrum bring could.
On the way to our room came and older mr against, which according to our own statement ' also at the front desk beschweren' wool.
After another 15 minutes was finally conclusion with gebelle.
Wether the hotel zero has, or, if the dog owners realize had, cut our kenntins.
In any case this is a absolute no-go for a five star superior hotel, the claim has one of the leading wellness hotel germany to be.
Whilst checking out the next morning there was no word of apology.
The Interkontinental Berchtesgaden is a beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings. What the service at the front desk and the handling of complaints subject, it is however disastrous. Therefore there is no recommendation! read more

We were for 2 nights in the IC Berchtesgaden. For us it was the 2. visit to this resort. Of Al room category we had a beautiful Panoramasuite, circa 75² large with great view of the mountains and the surrounding green. In the room the inkludierte mini bar with chocolate bars, granola bars, water and fruit juices. A wide selection of tea and coffee Nespresso machine. As usual it was a great breakfast buffet. I am actually no better buffet remember! Only missing carrot juice. Whilst checking out we were asked, if we water for the transfer onward wanted to ... bring. We have voted against, this offer it remains for me but in a very nice memory! We would definitely come again. read more

We wanted to saturday on Sunday the daily grind escape and were thoroughly rewarded. The hotel lies in one-time landscape with breathtaking view of the mountains. Saturday evening we had reservations at the 360 degrees-restaurant reserved, with over 20 degrees when we sunset overlooking the kupferfarbenen mountains very good food. Rooms are generous, great bathroom, everything was clean and in good taste. Very friendly service, already when checking in something special. The car is delivered from the bell boy delivered to the garage dangers. The breakfast was the best, I have ever seen. Very varied in best quality. Scrambled eggs ... and omelets are freshly prepared. Everything your heart desires inclusive clean filetiertes fruit ( oranges, Grapefruit etc. ). We are totally thrilled and come for certain again, despite about 400 kilometer drive. read more

We were over the weekend from Friday to Sunday at the intercontinental in Berchtesgaden. We had a standard room to the inner courtyard, absolutely enough, you can see from the balcony/ bed also the mountains - provided the weather fits. Tastefully decorated, underfloor heating in the bathroom, absolute downside: in the five star hotel no free internet available - is today standard and the amount it must simply be included
Breakfast buffet leave nothing to be desired, we have one evening in the Bayernstube (operation in dirndl, leather pants) and on other in the evening 360 degrees restaurant eaten. Each ... good map (positive-not so much food ), very good quality and how everywhere in the hotel very professional and dedicated staff.
Spa facilities: indoor pool with outdoor tastefully decorated, sauna area didn't impress me, in my opinion too small for the size of the hotel, too few chairs available, fresh fruit and tea wouldn't be bad, the outside area of the sauna could beautiful be made
