Hola, had a 41-year-old single woman over christmas/new year 18 days stay at the double room, all-inclusive should hot, i was missing nothing! For a few cuc right at the start and please to my maid more than a bottle of water to get, i had every day 4 fresh bottles in the room. In the restaurants almost preferred treatment and the staff at the bars - with still a large rush - always in a good mood. Tips were gladly and also many. Who shows and activities like to 23:00, is in the right place here - i ... had inears and was glad, on my trips during the day. Food in the chrystall was excellent. Cubanisch, at el rancho like home cooking, el colibri and dolphin better only snacks, otherwise forget it. Something you don't forget-you are here in a 3. world country-but it was 4 star! Oh, my room had an amazing smell, the a couple of days headache prepared, but without the contaminated air conditioning and with open balcony it was. But the booked sea view perfect! read more

2 nice honeymoon behind us. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The cleanliness from the pool and the hotel was always super. The room was always clean and every day with fresh linens. Unfortunately the hotel is but already getting old, so we have no light needed in order to get into the bathroom. The door to our room one could forget to plaster. Also it was in the rooms very badly soundproofed, so the neighbors baden hear, as if he in our tub sat. The food you always tried hard, but it was always only lukewarm. You ... are not allowed forget how poor this country and must therefore also some drawbacks. The eyesore of cuba.
The pool was 2 weeks a dermatological apocalypse. In the pool trash everywhere and yellow from...?
Cleaning in the morning around 9:00 quite as bad. But point 19:00 are 25 litres chlorine reingekippt. Staff slow to stink-putridly, also with tip try more casually than what they are there.
But if you have a survival wants a vacation then here.

Happily time and time again Hotel Tuxpan. It is very informal too, too the service is excellent. The beach on Hotel Tuxpan is in my opinion the nicest of Varadero. read more

The hotel is quite outdated. The rooms are for cuban standards well equipped. They were clean and the towels were also (almost) changed daily. The pool area is a showcase (where we however rarely anyway).
In the hotel are mainly canadians us russians building, which did not disturb however. The food was carelessly and every day recurrent then clapping. Also you need to get on long waiting periods set up a table in the essenssall bagged, the hall is perfectly under dimensioned (so please evenings around 18:10 queue). Several people had problems with diarrhea etc. So great promise of ... cocktails at the beach bar, lobby bar and polar were all not enjoyable. I've never seen a Piña Colada with instant kokospulver drunk. Even the alcohol in the glass with the kokospulver mixed (comparison oil with water in a glass).
In general the staff were(especially at the bars and at the front desk) very rude, you just didn't feel welcome. (at check out there was only a short nod, not even for a nice 'on wiedersehen' it was enough. Altogether the willingness to help in all situations to be desired. Unfortunately we could for 15 cuc hired beach towels several days not exchange, as it problems with the laundry service or the releasing switch was closed. read more

The hotel Tuxpan resort in Varadero to any culinary delights.
the food was a disgusting aspect and also tasted Sunday
it is completely unseasoned, unimaginative and overcooked.
Even the prawns tasted like paste and are soft and indefinable.
Cooking them in Tuxpan unfortunately no easy, either from the national kitchen from the International.
if you have a piece grilled spiced Turkey gets, dry rice and vegetables to smithereens without marinade has a great luck.

I have never experienced anything like that! The room was a damp biotope and the bathroom just like a Tropfsteinhöle. After I had much old air conditioning off, because I was constantly coughing, the humidity. on everything it was so damp in the room, that you had to turn, not slip on the floor. Even worse was the bathroom. After the first day I had a shower it leaked so from the ceiling. On the floor even puddles formed right. On the beach there are unfortunately no palm trees, but the water is very pleasant. Luckily we were at the ... end of our trip only two nights in this hole. Outside Hui inside pfui. read more

If the guest european standard expected is it be disappointed. The hotel has but for cuban standards a high standard with very nice staff. The staff at the hotel are extremely child friendly. For me and my son was it a great holiday and we have booked also again. read more

The hotel is very in need of renovation-old. We had to change twice the room, since the us offered room in a very bad condition were. The food was mediocre, often cold, barely any fruit-bad quality. In the second week the hotel was fully booked was to 75% (50% in advance), we had to wait to 20 minutes before the breakfast area, although many tables were free, the hotel staff came with the setting of the tables not afterwards. The pool area-good, beach-Great. A trip to Havanna is a must-worth seeing. read more

Cannot complain. For Cuban standards, it was a very good hotel! All friendly and helpful. They are pleased when you tip them and after they do even more to please you. So it pays off to leave a peso every once in a while. read more

We had to change the room twice, the first frame was broken at the lock on the door step, we were able to open the lock with a credit card in two seconds.
The second room was terrible, at the first sign of wind stood out the whole ceiling in the bathroom, so you could watch in a shaft. Water was dripping from the air conditioning on the floor. Puddle! The third room was OK only.
The safe in the room did not, about eight times the technician come to him to open.

First of all, this hotel is very boring. There is no animation, specialy at nigts, there in only one pool bar, no live music, no salsa eveningsyou can only sit and watch performance on the stage, every night the same. If you want shoppinh you must go with the taxi, in the resort is no farmacy, no market
The restaurant is awful. Cleanliness of cutlery, glasses and tables is very very bad. Every single plate was dirty. Than food.every day the same. If you come to the dinner later, you can get only side dish, ther rest of ... food are already gone. In the rooms are beetles crawling through the outflow and in the bathroom ceiling was broken. Anway, the garden was great and the beach divine.
In the official descripition is a mistake,airport Hose Marti in Havana is far away (not 30km, but almost 270 km!), with the bus 3 hours. read more

The hotel can recommend Nu. Very good atmosphere. Helps with Persnonal something tip to give you will not be able to get coffee for breakfast also good (ESRP so). Staff friendly (to note have only 18 euros monthly, depending on their ability to communicate in other languages). You can book excursions (for example, havana with Viazul buses from bus terminal, Easy drive 10 CUC). would jedere time again in the hotel. read more

We were (few) for the third time in a row in the same hotel and were again very satisfied. The friendliness of the staff, their helpfulness and their cheerful nature always impress us again. I was due to the beautiful beach and the wonderful sea for a 10-day relaxing beach holiday and I can recommend this hotel. It is a tired hotel, but to sleep, shower and change sufficiently. The beds are unfortunately very hard. I has the level of cleanliness in the restaurant not so good, but I can recommend the specialty restaurants 'El Rancho 'and' El Colibri ' there is the food was good! Insect repellent! FOR TROPICAL WEATHER! take-away.
The staff are great differences-it was very, very friendly to distant. With english one comes on each case no problem getting along. ... (Of course also with Spanish;-)Annoying were a few other guests, without the consideration on the concept of the locals 'without ' on the beach were above. I would like to see the time, if a foreigner in their country so what makes. it really lacks the Cubans to the simplest things-they really are glad, if you the leftovers from toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, razor, deodorant, tampons, etc. also old clothes or bind or toys left! read more
