After a round trip I was 4 days at the Marina Plaza. The hotel lies in tala Bay, about 15 kilometers outside of Aqaba at the street after Saudi Arabia.
Tala bay is an artificial erschaffener place, with many condos, Marina, some shops and much empty. People were only isolated and evenings it was completely deserted. The beach club is about 5 minutes ( ticket for towel output by the pool in the hotel get). The first 2 days I had the beach for me alone. Bathing shoe are very recommendable, many rock. To the extended weekend to first May ... came many locals, but it was still enough beach chairs.
My rooms were big enough and clean. The room boys were every day very much trouble with the decoration of the bed with the towels and flowers. Safe, tv with 2 German channels, hair dryer available. Air conditioning and air ventilation in the bath very loud. Bathroom OK with a separated, tiled shower. Balcony with a table and 2 chairs.
Hotel complex at 2 pools around built. Beach chairs sufficiently available. Main restaurant with a terrace. Morning and evenings there are buffet with very large selection. Everything delicious. Alcohol is served, but it has its price. A shop wine 7 euro.
The whole complex is very clean. The staff are very nice and helpful. Complaint was immediately processed.
To Aqaba runs free circa 5a six times daily shuttle bus. Login at the front desk is desirable. The bus stops at the tourist information in the middle of Aqaba. From there you can the city on foot explore. read more

In comparison to other hotels in Jordan, is this actually quite good. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the pool and hence invited to relax a clustered room. My little balcony had the sun all day, which I thought was very thoroughly. Although the rooms are quite small, I had a single travelers enough-and the ability to file, but for two people for the suitcases and to move in the room. read more

tala bay is an artificial tourist resort with three hotels, condos, Marina, shops and private beach clubs in wonderful Architecture. Unfortunately is empty, there are 2.3 shops, two restaurants, and 1 supermarket. Especially in the evening as a ghost town. The hotel itself is situated above the 200 meters from the beach, Marina about. In short: beautiful area, but everything was very cramped, in inner courtyard in the smallest room two terrassenfömige pool and 1 pool for the kids, slipped almost to the front desk inside, two bars, souvenir shop and towel edition crammed together. We spent a day ... here, thank goodness beach club at nice we come locals families, many groups for 1.2 nights, so often full, restless atmosphere, as well as in the dining room. This is somewhat higher located, very nice, the food is really excellent, five stars-moderate. Size of room okay, bathroom spacious, small balcony. Decor not great (no chair, only a filthy stool, small table etc. No) and pretty shabby, not surprising given the eternal in and out.
The staff was very friendly, with the exception of the musty souvenir Fritzen. Service in the dining room also with chaos was very good. The room cleaning was very good, otherwise redundant (full ashtray) cleanliness. We relaxed trip good, because it is on the beach (except weekends) really quiet and also otherwise rather dead, but I would not book this hotel. Is only with breakfast or half board bookable and comparatively expensive. Recommendation only with drawbacks. read more

in the end our trip we stayed here for five days for swimming in this beautiful hotel. The rooms are rather small, but modern and very clean. We had two large single beds, very comfortable. The hotel is elliptical around the pool, however, there are also rooms facing the port with a view over the sea. The atmosphere is quiet, and well-maintained. The restaurant is very good. The carefully seasoned dishes under new ones Motte. The dessert was amazing. Twice a day there were freshly baked bread. The beach club is just a few hundred meters away, with a private ... pool, diving, surfing, snorkeling, etc. at the moment is a construction site right next to the side of the hotel, this didn't bother us large. The competence of the staff in all areas above average friendly and good. We will be happy to stay here again. read more

The time immediate next to the hotel from about 7:00 o'clock until 18:00 o'clock built, which was on the beach was to be heard. It was very unpleasant.
Moreover, we found the rooms very small. There was no seat possibility (only a small stool). On the balcony there was only one chair. German television (ZDF) can be received. Between two rooms is a connecting door, so noise from the rooms to be heard are. The balconies a locals street, from about 6:00 also o'clock traffic.
The beach could be reached only on this road. There was a ... need for vouchers from the hotel. Against entrance the beach was also from third parties used to be.
positive we found the food. It was wide and tasty. The staff in the restaurant was very attentive and very friendly. The beach was empty and spacious. German is hardly spoken.
a hotel bus goes three times a day after Aqaba. It has about three hours to return. A notification is highly recommended.
For a short stay one could recommend this hotel after completion of construction work perfectly. read more

My son and I enjoyed our four (34) bath stay in the Marina Plaza Hotel we really enjoyed. Unfortunately, there were no activities on the beach or by the pool. The town itself in the evening as empty, since the apartment houses the very nice and new, all inhabited and there are no shops and shopping possibilities on the ground. On the whole check-in stay in this hotel was very pleasant and relaxing. read more

266 rooms in small and colourful 3-storey buildings. The hotel opened in 2008 and is very well kept. Everything was spotlessly clean, as well our room as the restaurant, the pool area, the gym We stayed here in half board. Every morning there was a very extensive buffet breakfast with eggs prepared 'à la carte', pancakes, a wide choice of meat, cheeses and sweet stuff, yoghurt, white cheese, fresh fruits, etc. Everything you can think of. Dinner was also buffet style, a different theme every night (Italian, Jordanian, Mexican). The quality of the food was very good, as was ... the preparation. Not at all the typical over-cooked vegetables and dried-out meats and fish that one often finds on buffets. Most of the guests were Belgian (we are, too) as well as some Norwegians and British. And Jordanian families in the weekends. There is a playground for children, a professional fitness room and a wellness centre. read more
