We stayed for the second time in this hotel during New York's marathon weekend, just a week after the heavy storm that hit the city. The hotel is huge, but after you have passed the effeicient check in, the hotel is very comfortable and just q block away from Times Square. This time we had a junior corner suite with a great view on Times Square and again the Westin heavenly bed is definitely on of the reasons to visit this hotel. Breakfast is simple in NY hotels, but gives you enough energy for a good start of the day. read more

Hotel and the room are for the price very nice and adequate. The staff's hospitality and the atmosphere of the hotel we approached and good. The' standard room' was so, that one in Europa two rooms it would make. The view from the room, although 'only' 10th Floor was phenomenal, the location ( corner Broadway and 42. Street) not to beat. Bar and restaurant are expensive, but recommendable. Only drawback: the service was a bit chaotic. It was always exciting, as lots of fresh towels, relative to their total number, per night in the room found to be. Apart from ... that no criticism. In short: not very cheap ( New York!), however very recommendable. read more

The location of the hotel is perfect, but the rooms mediate the feeling of a three-star hotel respectively the bathroom like a rest stop. The hotel gives no relaxation respectively peace. Way too expensive for the quality from the room. Should not the name' Westin' bear. read more

The Westin Times Square is a good hotel, tidy, clean, nice service.
The good location nearby of the time Square made possible quick access to the subway and also the possibility many places Manhattan to reach on foot. read more

Very posh hotel in the middle of New York! Times Square is situated just 4 minutes on foot away!
Awesome view from the room! The shulas we wanted to definitely try was but unfortunately at our last day before departure to. The concierge but the benjamins steakshouse offered! The thing was maybe very high preiskatergorie ( price per steak 50$ ) however therefor unique! :-) read more

Would again into the closer selection. There is less expensive hotels. But the location is ideal. Not quite the heart of pictures friends Times Square. The is however also good. 2 minutes and you are right in the middle of the TS turmoil. Traffic connections from Westin from super. Also are several sightseeing hotspots quickly and easily to reach on foot ( ESB, CP, MSG, etc.). As well as the shopping -addresses 5' the avenue, Macy's or Bloomingdale's. Recommendable is New York passport and a hop on/hop off bus ticket. read more

the hotel was clean and especially central location. The staff very friendly and the rooms were spacious. The bathroom was very large. We had a king size bed three of us. It was habituation needy with 3 persons a cover to share, but then still good folded. After my son right on the first day a stain on the bed cover made, was the following day bed freshly changed. I would the hotel re-elect read more

We booked for the end/beginning of May June a week at the Westin Times square and didn't regret it! The hotel is very centrally located (Newark Liberty International Airport is 15 $30-45 minutes to reach. is), it is within a few blocks everything: restaurants, bars, musicals and souvenir shops.HCLFHLHCLFHLWe had booked a club room and had therefore atrium breakfast and Internet included. The room was large and clean.HCLFHLHCLFHLThe hotel very quickly reacted to complaints. At our arrival around 16 o'clock the room was still not ready and they gave us a voucher issued then! The staff was always ... very friendly and very helpful.HCLFHLHCLFHLConclusion: a super hotel! read more

The hotel enjoys a great location, as it is right on the time square. It's just up the road and you're right in the middle of the action. The hotel is ideal for a city break. We had the room in 16. Stick and therefore a great view of the backyard. The rooms on the upper floors should be but spectacular views. The room was nice installed and the two queen size beds were great. The bathroom was functional installed with little storage space. The service was perfect, as our problem with the broken safe was resolved within ten minutes. ... The selection at the breakfast was well arranged, but the quality was very good. Not too late for breakfast, it was cleared away on time. Since around the corner of numerous bakeries and coffee to go-shops are, we will go back to the breakfast in the hotel. read more

Short and tight: just great! Upscale Hotel, right at time Sqaure, small entrance at the 42nd also available. Room we had the 44. Floor with a view of the Hudson River and the city! Everything was very tasteful, very clean and well maintained. Mini bar available. Tip: from nothing or watch, if you do not really want to eat! All drinks and snacks from the minibar are on sensors and taking charged charged! But tell in and then it worked (as with us:-)There is also Wi-Fi, daily ticket but very expensive! my tip: directly at the small rope course ... at the two cinema is a Starbucks. There is free wireless and everyone can hook up with iPhone & Co:-)With luck, one received the signal in the lobby. Bus, subway, walgreens and anything else you need in the location of course right outside the door! conclusion: for new York absolutely the best!-) read more

Almost treated us with genuine kindness welcome! I felt like I go back home. There were a few problems, but they were fixed immediately. My advice to all guests: problems immediately report to the front desk and ask for doing quick secondment. This happened, again not ask. A manager speaks German (native) - if your english insufficient or you dare. In case of emergency just ask!!! For breakfast in the Shulas egg benedict is wonderful and there are the attitude toward the guest "your wish is my command". Also breakfast outside the Menucard is possible Tips: 1 Buy a subway ... ticket! weekly pass costs for all metro and buses in NY $29 ! is quick and you see more of the city, than you think. There are 2 Subwaystations at all. The airport bus cost/ return $25 one way for 15 Families get discount! The bus goes from JFK, LaGardia and EWA every 15 minutes from Grand Central Station and bus stop near Times Square. It only takes 35 minutes! As a comparison: SuperShuttle almost need 60 minutes and costs one way for $21 per person, a taxi costs about $70 read more

Very paper-thin walls - you can hear everything next door! The bathrooms were only at the first glance clean, at closer inspection we discovered the tiles probably lived ever had no cleaning. We had three rooms from the 30th floor we didnt get, although we have written confirmation of the tour operator had shown. The only good thing - the great location directly at the Times Square. read more

The hotel itself is a high-rise. It offers a range of room categories. The rooms are a bit cheaper variation to the 24th or 27th floors. One of them, you wouldn't be a spectacular view. From the 25 or 28 (can't remember exactly) floor you pay a little more. We had the cheaper category selected and upon check-in only asked if we could get a room with a lovely view, and they sent a free upgrade to the higher category and still given a corner room!!! The corner rooms have two huge windows, which really stunning!!! I would definitely choose ... this hotel on our check-in ask!!! read more

The hotel made a very clean, spacious and friendly impression. On arrival into a very beautiful lobby area directly very polite and asked what one could do for you or the luggage can be. The front desk and lobby are very generous and consistently clean. There were several lifts to all floors. The lift in the 35th floor takes less than a minute. read more

The hotel is located just a block from Times Square. Subway stops just a few yards from the hotel, so this is a great base to explore the big apple. The hotel has 45 floor, 2 bed, overall. We were on the 41st. Highly recommended and absolute, a giant view of the city (especially at night). Our room was clean and the general condition the decor was rather new. We booked the room with breakfast because the room would not less cost. The breakfast isn't recommendable. According to the menu it cost 32 USD per person. And they give you ... coffee or juice, slices of toast and jam as well as a bowl of fruit salad. You get a good breakfast on every corner and therefore one needed it at the hotel really not. read more

43th Street & 8th Ave, a block from Times Square with all the brightly colored advertising and the pushy Neonlaufbändern, this hotel is somewhat oasis of tranquility. so it was in our room on the 34th floor. Floor. In the lobby (on the first floor and by escalator distance) was the usual American Dauerberieselung by more or less loud music. The usual lobby Toilettentest left nothing to be desired. quite impressive from the outside the house with its 45 floors, but the view from the room is unbeatable. From Monday-Friday always a lot of business travellers, the less noisy than ... the Wochend-party people. read more

The hotel is located in the middle of Times Square and has ever the entrance to 42nd and 43rd Street. Musicals, Madame Tussaud, Hard Rock Café and much more is a stone's throw away - more central New York City can almost not experience. One of our room was on the arrival day at 15 h not ready and the lady apologized thousand times and gave us a rain checks of 100 US$. We wanted to see anyway moving and Broadway, so it wasn't a problem. very friendly and helpful staff. highly recommended - but not very cheap - the ... location just need to pay. read more
