Condition and cleanliness were very good.

Shangri-la is in my opinion one of the today leading hotel chains, what exclusivity subject.
The value for money is absolutely justified.
For a unforgettable evening definitely a table in the hotel restaurant reserve.
Unvergässliche view of the harbor bridge and the opera house, with great food and good wine. read more

The hotel is great! It is located in the quarter of ' the rocks' and is across the street from a huge shopping mall. Stores like Chanel and Louis Vuitton are within a few minutes walking distance. From the window in my suite I had a great view of the opera House and the harbor. The hotel has 40 floors and a roof terrace. The rooms are huge and well equipped(for example, German TV channels, bathtub, and safe). read more

Over the hotel in the other reviews all written. Therefore only a few remarks: we had a room with a view-this was absolutely opera the presentation on the hotel's website. On the window ledge was positive feedback a wide leather, on the you could enjoy the view to the opera and so correctly. We would again at any time this hotel is a good choice. The hotel was the cheapest with a German tour (on special offers pay attention). Taxi fare airport to hotel at 70. Breakfast in the hotel we didn't enjoyed, was quite expensive at 35. In the ... area there are enough coffee shops or similar, as well as supermarkets and restaurants. Tip 1:in the hotel in the basement drive, then through the back door and you are in about 3 to 5 minutes at the circular quay ferries and metro. Tip 2: buy MyMulti1 weekly metro card for 41 and a week all metros, buses and ferries in the center use. Tip 3: with monorail (at metro card costs) to the fish market and fresh fish, crabs, etc. enjoy. Seat inside-out but aggressive seagulls. read more

The Concierges in this hotel are perfect. The tips were very valuable and were in favor of the guest and not only in favor of the hotel (for example, laundry service outside of the organized for me). Rooms are spacious and I had a view of the harbor bridge and opera pants at the same time! Mini bar was reasonably priced beyond. Well-functioning wireless Internet access available. In addition a pool as well as jacuzzi. Here it was also to 19 o'clock two year old children with diapers in hot tub. A shame! But are not necessarily the hotels to ... ban, but in particular reason the parents, which the kids in the jacuzzi bath. Person in the main restaurant was friendly, but a bit inconvenient. Several guests experienced, which were unhappy, that the last the food, after the first was already finished. Blu bar in the 36 floor with a nice view (but if you have a good room, you can see just as much). read more

The location of the hotel is really the twist, within a few minutes walk to harbour and the nightlife 'the rocks'. A Woolworth to supply is just around the corner (two roads North).
Have countless excursions on the routes along the city Mosman, Manley, etc. made. Ultimate Audflugstipp is located in North Palm beach, with the bus lines to reach is. The lighthouse (according to signs) and then in the fans sensing restaurant boat house-alcoholic. http://www theboathousepb. COM au.

We have stayed in Shangri la Hotel Sydney and were again very satisfied. The rooms are well equipped. We had a nice room with Opera view. The suites are better-view of the Opera House and Harbour bridge.
Also the breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. We were completely satisfied. Nice was the free Wi-Fi.
As a base for exploring Sydney the hotel is very well located. Can be easily reached on foot circular quay, where all the ferries run. At the same time, it is a stop for the sight-seeing buses to Circular quay-
Recommendation 1:a day ticket ... for the red hop on hop off buses-there are two routes to city center and a route, which runs until Bondi beach.
Recommendation 2: Sydney fish market in the afternoon snack near darling Harbor-a real pleasure recommendation 3:an evening drink in the bar Shangrli la 'BLU' in the 36 floor-an unforgettable view over Sydney guaranteed
Otherwise this city is again and again worth the trip-a dream read more

We stay for our Sydney something good retreat and stayed at the Shangri-la checked in. Although the our budget has of course more will be charged as a three star hotel in Paddington would have this experience, we would like to not have missed. We had a Harborview room (very generous with two king size beds) with modern amenities and a large, extremely luxurious bathroom. And the best: from our room you could from both the Harbor Bridge, as well as the Opera House. Priceless!! The staff was extremely friendly and obliging, the breakfast buffet abundant and above all the ... fruit choice really great. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone who can afford it at least one night to spend at the Harborview! read more

Had a room on the top floor with access to the Horizon club. You can tell the Shangri-la in Sydney, that it past its best. The facilities are just old. help there not that you finally the bar on the top floor thoroughly renovated. Ok, the bar is great. But other than that, nothing. The pool is an impertinence! As well as the gym. Although the Shangri-la not a destination property thought is, to relax evenings a beautiful pool, what I expect the other hotels offered this category. And for all who do not know, if you walk from the ... Circular uay to the hotel need a pretty steep hill up. Wheelchair accessible every time only the taxi. (Info, no review). to rooms: extra a room with view of the Opera booked and paid for. Through the construction diagonally to the direction) however this is very difficult. I went to the other room category show as I have the best. If I was very close the window and side schielte, yes then I saw the Sydney Opera House. A nice view of Opera and Bridge can be seen from the club lounge. So, if you want to go to this hotel, make sure you get one of the upstairs rooms with lounge access. read more
