Hotel Praia Sol^{(3 stars)}

Good size, well laid out, the furniture was in plentiful numbers. The balcony (all vary in size) our room could have been a little bigger can - As a result was missing a good way to Wäschetrocknung. I wish they had a table.

The breakfast room was big enough; tables in sufficient number available; swift Neueindeckung. Butter and jam in small packages; breakfast "English". The bar area was good visited (but we didn't use); all 2 days made a solo entertainer with music for entertainment.

The hotel and the rooms were clean. Rooms were not cleaned daily. The staff were friendly, helpful but mostly only after request. Not many languages were spoken - English is "The common language"

Pool is large enough; clean; enough sun loungers/umbrellas

The two-story hotel has a manageable size. Rooms are well designed and big enough. Swimming pool was clean. Beach chairs and umbrellas were sufficiently available, free of charge. Rooms were not cleaned daily. The breakfast was the prevailing Gästenationalität (English) is adjusted. The staff were friendly, helpful but mostly only after request.

The hotel is situated in a residential area. Behind there is a vast sports complex offers everything with Skaterbahn - but no noise. Due to its central location is the beach, all walking distance; Qaurteira quickly with its older Tourismuseinrichtungen is could be reached within 5 minutes on foot - just like the other side to the mondänere on Villamoura(with marina, newer Tourismusangeboten, restaurants and bars. At the back of the hotel runs a narrow gated way (could also to be trapped in the dark - dangerous), on the Villamoura ca in about 3 minutes to get to (the outside around the hotel about 15 minutes). This access and asked had to be open from the hotel staff.

20 square meters, nicely decorated, 45ER. flat screen TV. The bathroom was elegant, with bath tub and integrated shower ( plexiglass separation ), hair dryer.

The breakfast room was large with an outdoor area but sometimes very warm. The breakfast was tasty but not varied. The coffee was excellent!!!

Nice, hardworking staff, a little understaffed so cleaning sometimes late. Partly good English.

The garden is beautifully designed, quiet, there were plenty of comfy aluminum beach chairs. The pool was small but little busy, sometimes we arrived we were in our finca. Clean sanitary facilities were available.

The hotel is architecturally attractive, small, no bettenburg, quiet, suitable for feeling good. The guests came mostly from England ( quiet couples) and Portugal.

400 meters from the nice beach located in a residential area. Supermarket 300 meters, promenade 1000 meters away. 5 Minutes to the marina Vilamoura.

- The size of the room was completely sufficient, even though the furniture - the air conditioner was laid out on the size and has done a little quieter and reliable service - there is a small flat screen TV which is adequate - there wasn't a minibar, no fridge in the room - safe-deposit box is located in the closet and costs 15 euros a week - the condition of the room was not very pleasant because of the already described defects in the implementation of the cleaning - the fans in the bathroom had so many balls in its nobs are like he was not cleaned at least one year - the rest of the furniture and decor are slightly worn

-The restaurant/dining area for the size and the number of guests enough - is the bar area is sufficient, however the prices are not without, as it is at other hotels less expensive or more for the money, as in the average cost a cocktail (0,2 liters) 5 EU and a glass of wine (0,2 ) 2,50EU - the quality of the food was satisfactory, although you relax on the composition (for example 2 slices of pork and apple sauce) -every evening there was a choice between 2 menus 1x fish and 1x meat, soup or salad and for dessert cake or fruit -breakfast was totally adjusted to the British guests (scrambled eggs, fatty sausages, beans in a Art tomato sauce, white toast, White rolls, butter, jam, 3 different Art cooked ham, cheese, "salami") - cleanliness was mostly, which is already described - the prices were a bit above average, what we with various other hotels in the town or better restaurants where we were found at night (Coke 0.33 - EUR 2.50, water 0,2 - 1.80 euro, white wine, wine rose 0,2 0,2 - 2.50 - 3 euro .... ) - Since we were not so happy we gave a little sparse on tips we tend to have only to pay full Euro rounded up

- The staff was mostly friendly, but not over-motivated - in the gastronomy area "Crept" the waitresses rather around and the tables were also only with a cloth (for all the tables) smudgy instead of cleaned, the was occasionally not 100 % clean either in the whole week not changed, they were only rotated - the room cleaning was poor, it was only swept, the beds were made and the mirror more bad than good cleaned or better said smudgy (have never seen it in other hotels in Portugal better) -despite existing tiled floors throughout the room was not even swept once the whole week - but only swept the sheets included, not even in the entire week changed them since we found it was better to get the pillows was filmed

-Grounds and general condition of the hotel was satisfying - rooms are adequately large and the furniture was ok - the cleanliness of the Allgemeinbereich is adequate - we had half board because you have dinner at the time of booking - could not exit from the average age was about 45-50 years, except for 2 German families there were only English guests, which were also quite noisy - communication was only in English, but the service staff didn't really speak as if the boss was to some things in German clarify partly spoke our language as they lived time (in NRW)

-As some before us already described the beach in approximately 300 - 400 meters away and can be reached easily on foot. If you go along the beach a bit further to the right you have our opinion nicer beach of Vilamoura where also various water sports. - A few minutes to walk from the main street and you could there depending on your taste and request a pub, snack, or also find good restaurants in the evening - not stuck in the hotel are sorts of excursions to the coast to experience or also in the back country, but do you need a rental car, since the excursions at the booking at the agencies offered partly a bit overpriced

For a 3 star hotel very clean. Modern furniture . Bathroom also well equipped and decorated in a modern style.

We had booked bed and breakfast. For us it was more than adequate. What we like to eat, was available. They have good attention to cleanliness.

Very nice staff. No complaints.

Small sufficient and very well cared for pool area: pool chairs, umbrellas available free of charge. There was no morning fight for the beach chairs. The shower and toilet facilities on the pool there was also very clean. The beach sections just great, the gym was about 12 sq. m.

Small modern hotel. about 40 rooms in a good and clean condition. Family atmosphere.

The walk to the beach toward Vilamoura about 8 mins. The path to the beach toward Quateira about 10 -12 minutes. The way to Vilamoura for shopping and entertainment possibilities about 5 minutes walk, after Quarteira about 8-10 minutes. We personally Vilamoura, especially the marina. From there, there are also many excursion possibilities on the water. speedboat, catamaran, Yetski, parasailing etc.

Rooms, as mentioned above very modern furnished with many counter space and a great bathroom. Air conditioning and TV. It left nothing to be desired. The only drawback: no clothes on the balcony.

Hotel offered half board. But had booked only breakfast and that was ok. Everything is very cater to english speaking guests, but also "we" delicious food to eat.

Communication possible only in English. Friendly service. They were able to get me even a breakfast prepared, as I had to leave early.

The pool area was clean and well designed, with new, modern, very comfortable lounge chairs. Small but nice. No entertainment, at least not my travel time. Was ok so, pure relaxation!

I was very pleasantly surprised. For 3 stars was more, sometimes in a 4 star hotel. The hotel was in a very quiet location in a residential area, between Quarteira and Vilamoura. Through the back entrance was 5 minutes away at the Marina Vilamoura, approximately 300 meters from the nearest beach. The hotel is only 2.5 years old and it shows. The furniture in the room and in the lobby are very modern and everything is tastefully decorated. Hotel has 3 floors and 40 rooms, all with a great bathroom, modern furniture and LCD televisions.

Only 5 minutes walk from Vilamoura. Great location as close to the action but also very quiet. A supermarket and a few restaurants in the surrounding area (which is much cheaper than the harbor). The transfer time to the Faro airport took about 20 minutes.
