Very centrally located near rembrandtplein, nearby there are some other nh hotels. Restaurants, bars, shopping possibilities, tram stop-everything on foot easy erreichbal
The rooms are not more super modern, but was quite attractive. Especially our on the last floor offered by a small balcony a great view. The young staff were at check in not very firm, but polite, and ultimately worked then nevertheless everything. Breakfast in the hotel we found rather expensive for the offer, it therefore only used that once and then in the area breakfast. All in all a lovely stay in a very central hotel next ... to the flower market. read more

From other reviews I have the information gathered, the luxury room in this hotel renovated and recommendable are, so I booked (5 floor) with excellent views over the center. I was not disappointed. The check in was very professional and friendly and the breakfast buffet in this hotel I was very positively surprised. Wide choice and above all good quality of food. Also the ( listed for preservation) building, in the Carlton is housed, sprays the atmosphere and the charm a large old city hotel again. For me it was a very nice stay. read more

We were satisfied all around!
Staff - very friendly and service-oriented: we are at 10 o'clock morning arrived and were allowed an early check-in (despite 'arrival from 15,00')
Our room was on the first floor, quite large, with a niche in a small alcove: a TV ( somewhat older), 2 armchair and a small table. Kettle with cups available. We have no breakfast booked, could in the room breakfast (grocery stores are in the immediate proximity)
Bathroom with bath tub and shower, very big
Location: really ideal
Facilities the room: here you can already some faults find, when you ... took a closer look- especially somewhat older furniture.
Cleanliness: not ideal, but it was every day cleaned. read more

Overexpensive hotel! If you don't when booking signal with car to arrive you must for 2 nights 90 euros pay. As we had booked over the Internet, there was no possibility of these (important) specification.
the furniture in the past probably know, for our stay more yellowed. The room was very small and you could window do not open.
Positive was the large breakfast buffet and really great central location. read more

We arrived a new room, since our room especially the bathroom was not really clean.HCLFHLThe furnishing was in the next room pretty good. In particular, the refrigerator door was broken and on the floor of the refrigerator were traces of rust to see. The bathroom was also not in a very good condition. The holder in the shower was loose, and the heating had clear traces of rust. Furthermore, the water pressure was the shower and the sink not be set. The shower had not enough pressure. Where the pressure at the sink was too cold. (Room 729) read more

We also had the Aldi-package and are so great. Since the price/performance ratio. Could you booked regular, the hotel is too expensive. Also it is unfortunately not worth four stars. The hotel itself is very dated and in need of a renovation.
The breakfast buffet was okay, Dutch stop, that is to say there is no real bread, like we, are used.
The room was very small, no safe and no heating. It was more like an air conditioner location heating, which was difficult to regulate.
The location of the hotel is ideal, shops, bars, restaurants, etc. in the immediate ... vicinity, also is one of the main shopping streets not far away. The Internet is extremely expensive.
Amsterdam is worth a visit. read more

The hotel itself is good, staff are very friendly and helpful the. We have booked very, very cheap, but if you would pay the regular price (about the hotel itself) it would be overpriced. Our room was very small, not to say that they were tiny, maximum 14 sqm in total, but clean. The breakfast was okay, but if you would therefor 20 €pay (regular price) too expensive. But as we were out and the room more or less to sleep, it was overall I recommend it. read more

The hotel is right on the Flower Market, very Central, all walkable from here, just perfect. Cleanliness in the rooms was very important, unfortunately the bathroom is very small, but with bathtub, and it's floor in the rooms, which I didn't think hygienic. We had booked a soup to nuts, so overnight accomodation with breakfast and the underground parking was also inside. These costs normally be 40 euros, but you have to park somewhere, which is very difficult in Amsterdam. The breakfast was okay, but definitely not worth 20 €. There was coffee, tea, juices, milk, different types of bread ... and rolls, cakes, muffins, etc. but every day the same sausage and the same sort of cheese. The hotel is older, which especially at closer inspection. The carpets in the hallways to the dining room should be needed to be replaced. The bathroom is very small as I said, if sitting on the toilet, don't open the door, otherwise there are blue stains on the knees. Fresh towels every day, cleaned. Unfortunately they do the toilet flush always empty, so no stop button, which we improve suggested. Great to stay and explore Amsterdam, but still principally not four stars. read more
