Hotel Rappen Rothenburg ob der Tauber^{(3 stars)}

This year we had a somewhat older rooms, the were only cleaned superficially, speaks in angles and corners were partly dust and/or animal hair. That means not, that the room was dirty, it was just not perfect. Last year we had a better room. The mattresses the beds were very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet we really liked. The location direct at the entrance to the center is optimal. read more

Family friendly hotel ; enough big family rooms available. Very convenient location, since easy to reach and near the city centre. Car-parking space available. For a short family holiday very recommendable! Great value for money. read more

We have already been for the 2. time with the family for a übernachtungsstopp on the way from northern germany to South Tyrol there. It fit again everything was great. Beautiful and spacious rooms, friendly staff, good location, delicious breakfast. read more

We were for a weekend in this hotel. The rooms are very spacious, bright and well equipped. The bathroom has everything you need. Even a foehn the right power has. Enough tv channels were welcome and the room had even a small balcony. At the breakfast buffet there was everything you could wish for. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We also in the evening in this house and loved it. Delicious pancakes-reads not so exciting-but tasted better. And the best: you can go from the hotel only approximately 50 meters and is in the old town. Couldn't be ... better. Super! The from many cities known issue of parking is also solved. Even for buses are plenty of parking available. So close to the center and so much comfort does not exist often. So during the next visit in Rothenburg i am in this hotel again. read more

We went as a couple from good friday to easter monday in the hotel and we were very comfortable. We had a easter package with 2 nights, breakfast, 1 dinner in the pfannkuchenkogl and 1 candelight dinner for 89 €per person, in addition, an extension night with 75 €per room and breakfast booked. We found the price-performance ratio was very very good. We had our room in topplerhaus. The room was modernly furnished and had a nice bathroom. Size sufficiently. We had always approximately 100 meters until for breakfast or dinner walk, but due to the reviews we had it ... with really realizing. The dinner was delicious. Our three evenings we spend in the bar. There was nothing to do. But we were quickly with other guests at the bar of them and a fun time. The location is great, 100 meters through wiirzburger gate and you are in the historic part. Further 100 meters down the road turn left is the gasthaus zum ochsen, a very simple old-established restaurant, with great food and very cheap. We did the 3. evening tested. If you no museumsfan is Rothenburg quick trips. However it's worth a visit. We took the walking tour on sunday at 11 o'clock, duration 1,5 hours, joined in. Was very good and diverting. On saturday we are with the train and the bayernticket stress-free to Würzburg went. Drive 1.12 minutes with one change. To Nuremberg it is about 15 minutes longer. Was a beautiful trip. read more

We have this hotel already for the 2. time booked, when we on the way from the ski holiday direction Hamburg were out and we were satisfied. For the first time the breakfast was still a bit better, but there were also no large groups were present. We will certainly on our next trip south again because of a night requests. read more

We were for a few days in the Hotel Rappen and spent a great time. I can't understand, that some guests here bad reviews charges. Positive: Clean and friendly designed room (luxury rooms ); helpful staff and rapid redress if something is not working; were accommodated in 3 buildings (gasthaus zum rappen and Hotel Rappen); very good location to the center and free parking behind the house; free wi-fi with a good signal strength. Negative: Use of the sauna for standard and luxury rooms (accommodation in the guesthouse rap) is liable to pay the costs. read more
