The hotel is one of the larger on Cyprus. It has a beautiful garden- or pool area. Could was one or another be renovated, but overall reasonable. read more

    The bathroom needs to be renovated. Beds are on wheels and squeaky. Tv with 3 german channels (satellite. 1, RTL, ZDF). Balcony is not very big.

    There is a nice terrace on the 2. floor with bar. The cocktails are great. The dining room is very dark and uncomfortable, since one but also on the terrace can bothered us not. The choice about the food could, especially the dessert buffet, a little bit bigger, but there was always something good.

    The cleaners were always friendly. On the way there we got the wrong code for the safe, in 5 minutes was someone with us and helped us. At the front desk english knowledge is necessary.

    Distance to the airport with transfer bus only about 20 minutes. To the center one comes on foot in 20 minutes. To the harbor a way leads at the beach along, but you until there was a good rate on the way is. Opposite of the hotel is a Lidl and some small bars.

A an ageing hotel, the furnishing in the rooms suitable only for the worn. The essennennt although every day different, is however almost always the same and tasted bland. Rather not all-inclusive and rather elsewhere delicious food. Staff at the main bar very unfriendly, however at the beach bar, chambermaids and reception very friendly. Great beach. Although it is only approximately 100 meters long but clean and directly at the hotel. Excursions! The tombs of the kings are just 200 metres from the hotel, the paphos harbour is great and the Jeep safaris in the mountains. If someone want to ... go fishing, take a boat under british leadership, although more expensive, but not a rip-off and boats in good condition read more

The hotel was clean, elevators and partly broken. Toilet in the basement ( bathing area) run down and in need of renovation. The staff were not unfriendly, however also not especially friendly and above all overloaded ( not enough staff - in all areas) read more

    Our room (4. the stick) was large enough and clean. From the balcony we had a dream view on the sea and the king's tomb. Bath tub although it is only with shower curtain, but clean.

    The food was below average. Cleanliness was ok. The whole atmosphere everything but inviting. You could on the terrace in the open food, but then on plastic chairs without cushions. Also in the dining room no flowers, no candle or any decoration, very spartan and everything but inviting. The buffet was rather a feeding like in a cafeteria. Partly very unlovingly presented, especially the desserts, a week the same. Red fruit jelly, cream cakes and always the same fruit. The drink you had to wait for a very long time ( drinks menu there was anyway not). As you had already no more desire times a glass of wine to drink, which we actually otherwise gladly on vacation make. Price were however already like in a five star hotel. We have stayed in three star hotels, the worlds better.

    De pool was clean, really nice and sufficient. However were the free plastic and cushions especially tired, very worn and dirty. It cost every time overcoming to beach chairs. Very positive is the free beach towels in any case against fresh exchanged

    The beach was small, but ok. However the swim in the sea warned, too dangerous because of undercurrents. Only something for good swimmer and nothing for the nervous. For children completely unsuitable. Good and cheap bus connection into town and offered excursions not too expensive. Pub, ice cream parlor and shops on the other side of the street ( opposite is a new large Lidl)

Very erholsaner vacation, room service was friendly, however a little forgetful, had the used towels forward, however no new put in the bathroom, got on demand immediately what. Apart from that is the staff in the restaurant and front desk very friendly and helpful. Food was varied and very good. Really recommendable. read more

Have the beach after our stay in may in kefalos missed here. See our criticism! Were now in July/August in skarinou in the vacation home have but nevertheless a view of the Venus-beach managed. Beach was good-as well as the spaces for sunbeds above the beach. Well done Venus-beach! Hopefully remains the beach received! read more

We can recommend the hotel with in good conscience. Beach was all right we do not know what there at all there was. Not large but sufficient in the waves to jump and refreshment. Enough room under the trees, by the pool and beach. Not too cramped being loungers as the Coral bay. This beach we found nothing special. Room to the street are very noisy but after consultation with the front desk we were immediately a different room. read more

Have criticisms OP, the beach prior to our present vacation in kefalos read. Were in October 2011 in Venus Beach. Unfortunately the Venus Beach the beach by Winterstürme 2011/12 lost and is not for us more comparable with a stay in the fall last year. But you can now the hotel no reproach -perhaps there will be better. The lawn for sunbathing to the' beach' was also including facilities minimized. We found this ambience before 2 weeks compared to the last vacation just sad. We can certainly reasonably estimate-are since 15 years Cyprus-fans. Hope for the Venus-beach on better Times!. read more

We were group of 41 persons and were in the first half of March 2012 in the hotel. The hotel was in former times times a five star hotel. Emphasis is on 'was'. Our tour operators ' Hellas travel in Dresden' ( very recommendable) uS the building as four star hotel offered. After I in southern countries always a half star rausrechne, were thus our expectations to a 3, five star hotel turned off. Under this prerequisite, we were not disappointed! rooms were large and the beds good. Bathroom okay. Lack in the bathroom after the second complaint turned off. ... Annoying was, that the room safe separately and then also still 2 days not worked. Cause 2 batteries. Half board in buffet form. Food was good, it was refilled. Service helpful and friendly. The hotel is nothing for tourist, in the sea swimming (only at the risk of their possible ). Never in March vacation make, because... SINCE IRELAND STANDARD TIME NO sandy beach only garbage and cliffs no possibility for swimming. Inquires correctly at your travel agency. From April it should since there beautiful., because there was sand filled. read more

The furniture was rather simple. The room ( doors, furniture) was a bit chipped-not 5 star but OK. The bathroom was clean is however also in need of renovation-but no 5 stars. The occupation of the front desk was nice and helpful. The breakfast- and Abendessensbereich is a bit uncomfortable if he full people is. In my trip the hotel was rather empty and therefore was the everything okay no 5 stars but OK. The cushions for the pool beach chairs were very dirty and should absolutely be replaced. read more

A very nice resort, directly on the sea, with the tooth the time änfängt 's prime. nevertheless we felt very comfortable in the area. the air conditioning in the hotel was also very pleasant. read more

The Venus Beach hotel is itself very well maintained hotel with elevated requirement and ardent amongst others by elegant designed common areas (lobby, lounges, bar, breakfast room, essaal). The overall impression is very clean and noble. Over christmas and new year's eve we have here with the half-board a wonderful holiday spend. Half board is sufficient, since directly opposite a Lidl opened. The guests were too many english and at this time of the year meeting good situated older people, for the most part. Regular guests.     Very beautiful room with air-conditioning, mini bar, bathtub, tv, radio, safe (geen extra charge) and balcony. So ingeniously built, that one of the adjoining rooms no view, but a great view! Our room were new, very clean and comfortable.

    The breakfast buffet was very extensive: continental, as well as english ingredients were in quantity available and there was no limit of food or drinks. Lovingly decorated and attentive care was the buffet a delight. Evenings was festive in the dining room the warm buffet (additional appetizers and dessert area!) Serves. Every day was under another motto: mediterranean, italian, greek/cypriot, grilled and so on to the holidays gave a noble dinner, at the place served. Drinks were the waiters to order and charged separately (we had the half board).

    Very friendly staff with good foreign languages skills (english and partly. German). The reception had for each problem a solution and for every wish an ear to lend, helped with proposals for excursions, restaurants, clothing stores and so on Complaints was discreetly and conscientiously noted and remedied. The reionigungspersonal was unobtrusive, very thorough and very friendly. Tip: small tip at the beginning of leaflet a shone and preferred treatment.

    Wonderful outside area with chairs and pool, varied chairs and sunscreens, as well as beach towels and outdoor showers available. The british were to christmas at 12 degrees outside temperature really in the bathing suit on the chairs! Kudos! In the house lives a fitness centre (for guests visit included ), as well as a small swimming pool with changing rooms and showers. For children there were during the day an animation and for all of the guest evenings small events (bingo, quiz, dance, casino, disco and so on). Unfortunately is the access to the internet very overpriced, but something the road down you get for 1 Euro when McDonald's a coffee and two hours free internet access!

    The hotel borders directly at the state and forward to the street a bus stop. The bus network in paphos is well constructed and for 2 Euro you can take the day ticket after herzensliust paphos and environment explore. Paphos itself is a large city with many shops, restaurants and small shops to browse. Definitely the tombs of the kings (directly next to the hotel), the harbor and the famous mosaics (in port vicinity) to visit. As daytrip recommendable: reserve arkamas and a drive to troodos mountains!

Very nice hotel with best beach location. Spacious room with a fantastic view. Very friendly staff in the restaurant, at the front desk and the cash rich. Lots of choice at the meal, but the same dishes every day. Unfortunately, the Greek/Cypriote kitchen came a bit too short. read more

Is in the immediate area the tombs of the kings to a busy street with bus station in front of the hotel. For us it was good-with a rental car we could thanks to our for years existing local knowledge quickly stated objectives. Side room with view of the sea was all right Volume through noise from the street held itself within limits. Cleanliness in the room and hotel very reasonable. Had half board, which for us was enough. An experiment with choice of the menus on the last evening gave us a bit, but apart from that okay.! ... Guest structure was also for our taste good (age and composition). We are in Cyprus also foreigners-and all other tourist also-and if all a little together, everything worked with a good communication! Were in the time of the National day and Cypriots every age also on the weekend and it was nevertheless everything quite harmoniously, only the parking spaces in front of the hotel were then a bit tight. The reception in the hotel was also very good-we were evenings arrived late, the mealtimes soon over- nevertheless they took us the baggage and demanded that we friendly in the dining room, so that the food eingegenommen and brought us afterwards the rooms-there was still a with fruit and wine dedeckter table ready for us. read more

    Was so far reasonable. For us everything was adequate-except for the penultimate evening dinner, as already described. Theme nights were also designed-I believe, for each tourist somewhat satisfied with the food was. Have already other hotels experienced, where full plates en masse are returned. The majority of tourist there was but also with the selection of the meals and the 'cram' the plates temperate. Who no friend of Katzenfüttern at the table is( in the open!) should rather eat inside!

If I after Cyprus drive but I must in any case also English-and should not complain, if I treated as in Bayern or other not German-speaking regions Deutschl. -but I'm just abroad. Cleaning of the rooms was also reasonable we have also always tidy, as the at home do.

    The hotel's own beach is about 100 to 150 meters away of the hotel pool for local proportions very good condition. Couches and sun screens are free and the offered change of towels we didn't use it. Paphos town is approximately 5 kilometer good by bus reachable or over a beach promenade in about 40 minutes easily accessible on foot. Shopping and entertainment are depending on the season and relevant ideas nearby or in Limassol possible. Excursions accordingly also-everyone just after his ideas( individual tourism and the tour operator enabled are just sometimes different). I am now the first time the country or I know from- afterwards relativized some. A good tip for a other good beach in relative proximity of the coral Bay still pissouri-rocky-but scenery, atmosphere and bathe complement each other very well! Unfortunately we had a bus transfer from Larnaka from, because flights from and to Leipzig were not available!
