From the hotel ( not all rooms) and pool offers a beautiful panoramic view over the hills and mountains, on a clear day air to the Mediterranean. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, but off the beaten track, cIRCA 2 kilometer the small village of La joya, circa 15 kilometer to Antequera. Sat nav is for the arrival recommendable nonetheless. The hotel and the complex included pool make a clean and maintained impression. The indoor pool costs extra. The staff at reception and in the restaurant is very friendly and speaks enough English. Our room was big ... with seating area. The bathroom was generous. For breakfast, there is sausage, ham, cheese, homemade sweet particle, muesli, fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. The value for money is good. The hotel restaurant offers very good food, the attractively served. The prices are however very high in the comparison for ENVIRONMENT. read more

Beautiful small hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. The kitchen is particularly to be commended. Here you will find everything which the heart desired, if you like peace and want a well-kept atmosphere. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night here. Simply fantastic. read more

The small but nice hotel captivates through its character and the cuisine. Both the evening meal and the breakfast were excellent. There were only a few couples of different nationalities there and so was away from the Alltagshektik a extremely quiet and relaxed atmosphere and feeling absolute rest and relaxation. read more

Our EC-room (#1 ) was rural-rustic but furnishings dignified. The windows were gated, but in this solitude a feeling of security and hence the window at night can get up. The air conditioning in the tiled floor we end of September because of the pleasant enough outside temperature was not needed. We were only by other guests departing early in our sleep. Otherwise is absolute peace.

Our meal in the restaurant deserved praise and was despite the upscale (starters about 13 -15 euro, main course about 20 euro, dessert about 6 euro, bottle of wine from 13 euro) well worth the money. The breakfast was also very good (fresh pastries, fresh fruit, good coffee).

A country, as it can be rural hardly archived

The country hotel is located in the province of Malaga Antequera and little southwest of the city on the southern slope of the Sierra del Torcal in the small village of La Joya. To the next bigger city Antequera 20 km, to the nature reserve 'El Torcal" runs 23 km and to Malaga it was about 50 km. You should realize that the hotel is far away from the action. Although the outlook in the vast Panorama grand with good even the view is enough to Malaga, but who need a little "more overall" should probably be more suited to ... a hotel in Antequera avoid. The hotel with a rustic decor features double rooms and suites. A private, large enough parking on the premises is also available, but that Schattenlos. If the hotel is wheelchair accessible, I don't know but with elevators. You can only night with breakfast or half-board (see also the gastronomy). The guest structure during our 4 day stay there were Spanish, English and German. From a family with small children, young women mid-20 and older guests around 60 everything was there. read more

We had a standard double room (non-smoking) in the 1 . OG, it was about 23 square meters in size and very spacious. In the room was the bathroom spatially separated. The room was in relation to the room size a relatively small window which made the room seemed a little dark. Also the window was typical gated, it was shutters or an extra blinds darkening shades. The furniture in the room is rustic, which we loved. Our room had following features - Rustic tiled floors, wood-beamed ceiling, large double bed (180 x 200 cm) with nice firm mattresses and pillows in 2 died. sizes, very large closet (with lighting), small desk, telephone, satellite-TV with 3 German channels, ZDFneo, Kika), minibar, safe, Garderobenhaken. The air conditioning is integrated in the floor and works in the entire hotel through the heated. This variant of cooling for also new to us, but it worked. Unfortunately the room was lacking seating area available. There were absolutely apart from the small desk no additional tables or similar., where you put little things. Also the bathroom fixtures is very attractive and rural. The bathroom (no window) was very spacious and equipped as follows: shower-bath with a glass division, toilet, bidet, hair dryer, bathrobes and slippers, shower gel and shampoo in bottles. Unfortunately, there wasn't a make-up mirror. Except for the sink there were none extra space. The wash basin is a power outlet. smelled very fresh towels and bathrobes. The rooms/water cleaning was ok.

We had only booked bed and breakfast. If you only this type of board claim queue to dinner reluctantly related to the extensive prices of the menu (p. below) put up with this, but in the evening or searching for a restaurant (see location/area). The restaurant is very clean and attractive rustic-style decor. The breakfast buffet (09.00 - 11.00 hours) was in my opinion it was definately that of a 4 -star hotel. Everything was always very fresh and delicious and nicely arranged. There was died. rolls u. died. Super delicious cakes and pastries (as from the famous confectioners), died. Cereal, yogurt, cheese, sausage, ham, jam, fresh squeezed orange juice, etc. , the coffee tasted very good. There is also a breakfast terrace. The menu for the dinner consists of many different starters, main and dessert, whereas you between each 4 fish and 4 meat dishes. All meals brought fresh and are gourmet food served. The food we had was delicious. The prices of the main courses are located between 16 - 21€, desserts around 6 euros, a local beer á 0.33 liters costs 2.50 euros, sangria 1,0 l cost about 15 , - €. The menu was only in Spanish and English, the service was very friendly.

Check in at the hotel is from 12.00 hours, check out from 07.00 to 12.00. The staff was always very friendly. At the reception they only spoke English. The mobile phone reception is good.

The hotel has a tennis court and a about 6 -by-14 -foot swimming pool, we didn't use, but very clean. Beach chairs, umbrellas and showers are available on site, pool towels were available at the front desk. There is also a small indoor pool. The hotel offers hiking and demand as well as (information at the reception), but we didn't use. There is no entertainment evening entertainment.

The name 'country hotel' is suitable, as it is very isolated in the countryside, as it can be rural hardly. Here you can probably only "lost" because of its proximity to the nature park of El Torcal. The hotel is so rather only for people seeking absolute peace or for Rundreisende as we did. Immediately around the hotel grounds there are only fields and lands, fortunately, that is not near what could cause noise. The hotel is located on a hill above the town, with a fantastic 360 -degree view in the countryside. The hotel has already Antequera signposted, even in the village of La Joya there were several times see signs for the hotel, so you could get lost. If you coming from the north, take Antequera passed, runs a first extensive non asphalted road toward La Joya, although this very Schlaglochreich ... made up for it the grandiose scenery, that a during the endless highpoint Driving directions offers, a flock midst was nothing rare. During our stay in early June was on a segment this road coating surfaced, so we had to take a small detour, it should be ready but now. As an overnight stay for Rundreisende the hotel is absolutely ok, but you should consider when nights with longer than a night keep in mind that the nearest restaurant at least 20 km away, Antequera. In the small village of La Joya we saw while driving through no restaurant, but not specifically, the town a bit zersiedelt looking for. Whether restaurants in the closer place Villanueva were, I don't know. If the price-intensive menu in the hotel (more information for gastronomy) but don't mind driving the evening after dinner. As mentioned above, the hotel offers the ideal location to El Torcal Antequera or the reservoirs of Guadalhorce to explore. The shortest way (about Villanueva) to the Visitor's Center and parking El Torcal is 23 km from the hotel. The nearest petrol and shopping possibilities were in Antequera. The distance from Córdoba is 130 km, we have (without stops) 1 hour 45 minutes.
