The Novotel on the buda side of the hungarian capital i like. One should in any case a room with a view on parliament opposite side select (are more expensive and noisy, but it is worth it). There is nothing to complain about - a very good accor house. read more

    Breakfast very diverse and tasty. Good coffee. Many fruit. The breakfast room and the buffet is however not for a fully booked hotel laid out. A queue in front of the coffee machine in which you 10 minutes to the coffee wait, was around the public holiday around normal. Also you had to wait for a table. Apart from that cleanliness etc. Very good.

    Very friendly. All spoke English and partly even German. However were the beds the children after the first night not made. On our complaint they were after the 2. Night made, afterwards however again not. After a further complaint was promised, the problem to clear up. On our way back I asked again for and received as an answer, that neither manager the management of the cleaning of the rooms were informed. Unfortunately! It is really not pleasant with two tired children, the whole day bravely exploring the city, as a first in the hotel bed sheet just-drag and the blanket need!

Really great value for money. Great view of the Parliament. We will be back. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. The public transport is easy to reach. read more

The Novotel is a modern hotel, with 7 floors, Conference rooms for business and a fitness room. our standard room was really big, with a double bed, a couch, LCD TV and spacious bathroom. The room was very clean, towels were every day changed, and vacuumed. Outside of the room was everything very clean. we had overnight stay and breakfast booked. The breakfast was very varied. From rolls, on scrambled egg, muesli, fresh fruit and many side dishes everything was there. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. in the hotel at that time in February many couples, some families ... and businessmen. To a large extent many German speaking and English guests. read more

    the food was very well and always clean. It was shortly before Closing refilled. Were also the waiters very attentive. As described above you could for breakfast diverse dishes put together. The atmosphere was very comfortable, the waiters not pushy.

    from the airport there are with the metro and bus about 40 minutes to the hotel. From the hotel are all sights easy to reach. Particularly beautiful is a ride on the tram, the about 2 minutes footpath away. the hotel lies in Buda from the Parliament only through the Danube separated, so that one for breakfast a one-time view enjoys. in the immediate area there is a supermarket and a gas station. Especially recommended is the restaurant, where local pancakes all types to be sold.

My favorite restaurant on the Buda side of the capital. Modern, clear, well equipped. And also more or less 'central' location. Mostly the hotel still offers good value for money, the rooms are beautiful and functional, but also comfortable. The staff are well-trained (not always the case with Accor hotels), the gastronomy was also good. I can only recommend it... read more

We were over new year's eve in the hotel, accordingly much was going on - the hotel was fully booked. Nevertheless, everyone was very friendly and eager - Here I want to highlight the reception, as well as managers who can deal with complaints or suggestions well! The view from the breakfast room onto the Parliament is simply outstanding! The hotel is a great starting point for sightseeing-about 5 minutes to metro and tram (if the traffic lights are on red * g *) - around 20 minutes away on foot into town. read more

The building looks great from the outside as well as inside newly renovated (or built) from. It was always very clean. In the hotel itself there was a restaurant where you can have breakfast, coffee and lunch and dinner. About the Gerätestruktur I can't say much as we stayed in the room except to sleep and therefore hardly ever noticed guests. read more

    Our room was in very good condition. The cleanliness left nothing to be desired. The only negative thing I think it is the lack of space. On the night stand hardly a book in the closet space and there was no hanging clothes, thus, all the time my clothes in your suitcase. The room was relatively small but it didn't bother me, since it is a city break. A minibar (fairly expensive), as well as a TV, telephone (we didn't use it), internet (ethernet free) and safe (free) is available in the room.

    We never ate at the hotel. For a small breakfast you pay 8 Euro, for the big 17 Euro. We found the rates are too high for Budapest. Those who take the trouble and pays is certainly cheaper outside of the hotel.

    The staff was always very friendly. When we arrived we were with the lady at the front desk spoke English, as we did not expect that you can speak German. However when she started on Swiss German to speak with us (positively) but we were amazed. Our flight home when we over the Internet-check-in and the printer in the hotel not worked helped us a staff very courteous, by our tickets (free) from his computer printer instructions. The room cleaning was also satisfactory. The tip which we placed in the room in the evening was still there. So the next day we wrote a note that the money as a tip.

    The Novotel Danube is situated (the street separated) next to the Danube. You can see in certain rooms which are more cost, on the far side of the banks of the River Danube Parliament buildings. The nearest subway station (Batthyány tér) can be reached within about 5 minutes walk. The hotel is certainly well located for all excursions in Budapest. The transportation to the airport with public transport is a bit more complicated than out (about 1.5 hours and is connected to change with complaining three times). But it was still possible if you time is devoted to it and you can save a lot of money. Tube station at there were only a few shopping possibilities (Spar, dm. .. ) as well as many restaurants and cafes.

This hotel was u. A.. my overnight stays in conjunction with a study tour to Hungary. The Novotel liked it a lot. The rooms were not as large ( the, which is where I stayed), but very well appointed and clean. If you have a room on the main road bay, there's even a great view of the Parliament buildings. Just great. The breakfast was also very delicious and diverse. I liked it very much. read more
