Villa San Lucchese^{(4 stars)}

The hotel was for us perfect starting point for day trips into the Tuscany by car. ( without a car one was stuck!). We had a 'superior room' with a view pool and vineyards. Room was large enough and air-conditioned. Very clean! The grounds of the hotel is very nice, clean and relatively spacious: Kiesauffahrt, pool, Shaded garden, restaurant. The complex is located on a beautiful Hills with vineyards and olive groves. The center ( supermarket, restaurants) of poggibonsi is approximately 10 minutes out ( car). The location is in comparison to rest of Tuscany to neglect! Breakfast there is ... a airy annex with very courteous waiter. The pool is not very frequented, so that it in between for relaxation after the trips also once a relaxing pool day can be. The restaurant is very good. Most people remain only 2a 3 days as a stopover to a round trip. Very international: USA, England, Norway, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and so on altogether we had a very nice time and would go back again! read more
