We had the hotel in good memory. That was it however this year not endorse. A week stay really enough, since the food simply too monotonous was. Every day there were noodles, fish, did not even cooked was (really a shame!) And various vegetables. Of change unfortunately not speak.
In our room there were two electrical outlets, but not a single in the bathroom. That did not please us. A hair dryer was also not available.
Because of the nice weather was also already had breakfast outside. The waiters from the main restaurant weren't able, at least the cutlery on ... the table. Set was anyway not.
After dinner found on the terrace also no service or only for the guests, a bountiful baksheesh distributed had. We wanted only at the end make, but then left.

First impression when arriving in this hotel was very disappointing. Only one offered us two rooms the selection of, showing this one walked but only very reluctantly after. The condition, especially the bathroom, was a disaster and a 4-star standard not at all in accordance with. On intervention our supervisor took place in the evening of 2. day a room change, this room was reasonably the ideas. Disappointing - 1 week at utopia beach was more than enough
My superior room was superior only by name-the extra charge for a renovated room not much joy-when the renovation took place, i could not find-the outside was crumbling and the door was hard to close. Zimmerdecor very simple, old. Food and drinks were absolutely not on a 4 star standard - after a week pizza and pasta, i was happy, to return home, with varied, well spiced food, and fruit to enjoy-i am surprised still, as the egyptian food was tasty. The guide smiled, but a warm welcome and ... help something else. The beach was clean with 50% occupancy i have fortunately a liege in the morning -watch out for the thieves! The 'lost' towels you have to pay. An old but very nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Staff always on the sweep and wipe. You are here but in Egypt what some kommentartoren probably did not understand, therefore you can here also no german cleanliness expected. We chose Utopia for our first holiday as a family with our seven month old baby and it was perfect. Great and varied facilities all within easy reach, friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us.
The range of swimming pools and the accessibility of the beach made us feel like we were in a different resort each day. The water slides are a source of fun for people of all ages (and great white noise to keep the baby asleep). The food is great and there was so much choice it also provided us a great opportunity to let ... the baby try a range of things.
We were the only English residents (it was low season) so we had a great time meeting people from other countries and it was nice to be a novelty for once.
The snorkeling just off the beach is also incredible. We had never seen such a beautiful array of fish so close to the shore.
The rooms are huge and well built and most have a balcony overlooking the grounds or the sea. Ours had both. The room was well cleaned every day.
There is activity in the evenings but if you want a quiet, early night, that's also possible.
There is a mini bus to the nearest town twice a week so we were also able to get a flavour of the local culture outside of a paradisical tourist resort.
At sunset each day, they sprayed the whole hotel with mosquito repellent. While effective, we weren't sure what the repellent contained so made sure we were in our room when this happened. read more

Here you have clear priorities what you want!, it is very important that broken paving/tiles replaced, railings freshly painted and lose, from the holder broken lamps be repaired or you could enjoy the outstandingly beautiful reef with its diverstiy, the lovely warm climate, and the absolutely friendly waiters?!
Especially worth mentioning the top clean the toilets by the beach, even lovingly decorated with flowers!
The only negative thing was the constant hum of the dieselaggregate, depending on the location more or less to hear, as well as the right vocal italian tourists!

The hotel is not bad but unfortunately somewhat older. The garden was not well maintained. The complex general was not on preceding endorser. The swimming pool could some be cleaner, however i have to say i was not in the season. The beach was huge and a piece of of which also clean, otherwise everywhere you look-mist. We have been the 2. time at utopia and this time as a family.
We have this time very lots of people met due to perhaps 50% utilization of the hotel at this time. The local traders and the lifeguard, as well as the people quad bike safari from the penze next door.
Unfortunately has this time an accident our vacation something clouded the doctors also check in two hotels. In penze here many a time is called good was the doctor the worst, it has our insurance abroad at all did not interest sonndern just as much Euro we ... have!
In the morning we have at the front desk at utopia asked, whether a doctor in the hotel is the afterwards immediately into the room came, an ambulance ordered a radiograph (unfortunately in Hurghada) to leave. The doctor was the whole time us fed we were on the day from a neighboring hotel the hospital. The treatment was very good, the only thing which you have to complain about on this day, the egyptians are very slow especially, because we the only were in the hospital and the whole fun with and back 14 hours lasted for 2 pictures. The service from the doctor, as well as afterwards on arrival after 21:00 o'clock in the hotel was excellent. We would have if we wanted food and drinks without as payment to the room received. Otherwise super people, great accommodating our injured opposite \u263a we see us in june again. read more

For three stars a recommendation, in the hotel is so much wrong, clear mistake in the management, no plan the hotel, very obstructed, once beautiful hotel. Unclean green, with manure, hotelabwasser the plants and green areas fertilized, smells mächtigt, trash, no, because the responsible but probably was not there. The cats adhere to the opening times of the restaurants. Pom. -get there in the morning at 7 o'clock, no spoons for pasta (spaghetti), 3 times with water diluted beer at the bar before the disco. Beach not fast enough cleaned, lots of trash to 2 days rum, reef is okay, but depending on the wind and water level littered. Except the arrival(4,5 hour ) everything ok. The hotel is definitely in great shape. The staff speaks german and english, is helpful and always very friendly. The food fresh and delicious. May be a bit repetitive but you had enough choice, so that everyone becomes full. The complex is in a good state, also constantly by gardners looked after. The beach is a bit too far away from the hotel but a little movement after eating is also okay. For snorkelling only one, a dream'. The entire day get a 2 + from us. Gladly anytime again. read more
