    The room was always clean, and you couldn't complain about. Large enough it was very modern and comfortably furnished. We had a small balcony on the back of the hotel with a view of the town.

    The dining room is a true eye catcher, really elegant and stylish. Such a great dining room I have never seen. Top! The food was fabelahft! Very tasty and great presented. Unfortunately somewhat expensive, but it is now times at the sea;-)... Outside there is a' terrace' with direct view of the see, village you can sit out. Below at the beach there is a bar, there can one small snacks nehmen. The view is simply great!

    The staff were very friendly and all trouble our wishes to fulfill. Since our English unfortunately no that great is, they all tried hard to speak German with us.

    With 2 steps away at the beach. A dream! The location is perfect. As excursions I would Domburg recommend, a small' sweet städtchen'... The beach is also beautiful. ( dunes) In middelburg can comfortably shop go.

We (2 adults and a 8 years old child) had the so-called 5 star suite for 385.- Euro the night! It was frightening. The suite was very needed renovation and musty smelling. The walls were dirty and the whole facility, as well as the elekronik very dated. There were a lot of spiders and spider webs in the 'suite'. The breakfast was simple and meat cold cuts there were amazing 2 sorts! The coffee from the machine, simply only badly! The view was wonderful. In short: I would guests recommend another hotel to check availability. Price-performance is okay here ... not at all. For a hotel with such rooms it is way too expensive. I was already guest in many hotels with 4 or more stars, but this was by far the worst' four star hotel with a maximum of two stars standard. Why the night 385.- Euro, for what? read more

For a short beach vacation in a very beautiful atmosphere a great hotel. We can only recommend it. All wishes were exceeded. The friendliness is excellent. The hotel lies directly at the long beach promenade of Vlissingen with some bars and restaurants. To the city center with some shops are it also only 5 minutes on foot. Everything has wonderful works. read more

The hotel is a simple, typical mittelhoher construction right on the waterfront from Vlissingen, one rather quiet driving and pedestrian area without the usual strandrummel is. Sufficient large outside terraces, really big restaurant rather in 60-years-style, but absolutely acceptable. read more

    Could have got regular room to the sea not large, but sufficient. Beds ( mattresses) soft, can back pain cause. Cleanliness normal. Balcony very small, just for 2 chairs, but large window, so that the vessels from the bed from can see. Often far ( cold) wind, so' vacation on balkonien' in the hotel anyway not advisable. The hotel-terraces pleasant windbrechende large glass windows.

Nevertheless you must have a little morbid praise: but good shopping, the food had never had cause to complain, however also remains a aha-experience for certain from. Menu not exactly luxurious, but it was varied. All together a 'not bad', as mentioned, however without enthusiasm to wake up.

    Friendly, fast, quite reliable. Too many little language skills in German (with exceptions), English is always. All together 'typical holland': solid and good, but also a little cool and businesslike. Front desk and maids helpful, friendly, the performance of the hotel just.

    Directly at the beach; parking spaces are behind the house; some free, some public with payment. The city Vlissingen and to the harbor there is to walk-minutes. fußwanderungen at the beach ( depending on the water level ) right in front of the house possible. Room to the rear a little spectacularly, view over the town. Forward drive the ships were scarce on balcony past. Also without binoculars you can (of the upper floors) and in the bridge the watching ships. The secret: the fairway from the schelde to north leads extremely close at the beach past.

Very beautiful hotel, short at the beach and center. Dogs are allowed. Room large and clean. Breakfast and 4-course buffet on wednesday very adequate and very tasty. I come here for a short vacation for relaxing. Have for again next year booked, and am already. read more

Booked through booking. COM quickly for a short break in Vlissingen looking for. Am as always after the price went and fantastic. Because where do you get for under 100 euros for 2 days a ** ** star top. Rooms very clean, breakfast everything what your heart desires ( even a orange squeezer) freshly prepared. read more

The hotel lies in the first row, only by a street separated from the beach. Parking spaces are behind the hotel, it is a deposit from charges 100 euros. The rooms are big enough, with very small balcony, with two chairs but no table. Mini bar available, however very expensive. The breakfast was sufficient, with three sausage and cheese, Spieleiern, Gekochen eggs, different types of bread and rolls, jams, honey, Apple butter, Quark, fruit. Coffee was from the machine. Had the buffet in the evening booked, very good Choice and good taste. Dogs are allowed, costs per stay 15 euros. read more

Our room 415 facing the land side was modern and tastefully decorated. You heard however late evenings again at any time Roll - respectively Klopfgeräusche, despite repeated complaints at the front desk off and not even localize left. On arrival was our booking unächst unlocatable. Apparently under the name entered. The breakfast was good in the breakfast room with a sea view. read more

The four-star hotel is situated on the beach and the promenade. All rooms have a balcony and with a magnificent view of the sea (where you can get a room at the front of the hotel). The furniture corresponded to the awarded stars: The beds are very large and comfortable, the room was spacious and with flat-screen TV as well as a safe. The bathroom had enough space, a hair dryer were also there, of course. When the neighbor incur no noise, you have peace and quiet, and in addition of street very limited. The hotel has a fitness room ..., the after reservations daily for one hour free to use. For cardiovascular machines is this: an elliptical trainer, best suited an electric treadmill and a Zimmerfahrrad are available and worked well. A "multi-function" to the muscle starter was also available, we didn't try it. The hotel also offers several saunas, which can also be used for free, but we also didn't use it. The shopping area of Vlissingen can be easily within walking distance (approx. 500 meters). Right next to the hotel are a few skyscrapers, that do not appear fit into the landscape. However, they "A construction mistake," is an exception, overall Vlissingen a nice town - typically Dutch. The hotel breakfast was good and plentiful. Even fruit and fruit salad were offered, what the Netherlands is not obvious - here, the house its four-star standard lived up to all. We had a "Hotelarrangement" - bed and breakfast in a double room for two people for $89.00 € / day (plus 5 € Tax). As we were for the price a room with sea view, I want to the value for money than reasonable estimate. read more

The Amadore Grand Hotel Arion with 66 rooms is located in Vlissingen right at the beach promenade. To the beach and town center just a few minutes to walk. The hotel was already older, but the rooms and bathrooms are updated. Parking is located in the back of the hotel. Free parking card is at the reception for 100 , - Euro deposit.     The room size is ok, large beds, large mirror, two small chairs with a table, lamp, bedside lamps with reading lamp, mini bar (no pricelist and no bottle opener), flat screen TV, free a stoof-türiger closet (for an extended stay much too small)luggage rack. The bathroom is not large but adequate. Unfortunately no sensible lights, tap optically nice but inconvenient because the whole counter was flooded. The Ablaufrinne the same, tiled shower was with mold and lime dirty.. The hairdryer no reasonable value. tissues, wash and shower gel dispenser in the available. There were only two plastic cups (no glass) was available in the bathroom. The cleanliness in the bathroom and room left a lot to be desired. cleaned properly or dusted has been longer not more. Rooms facing the townside/car parking for 210 -Euro per double room way over priced.

    There is a restaurant with a bar and a lounge and a lovely outdoor terrace with comfortable wicker chairs. Restaurant and bar we found was very dirty. The ceilings were very dirty, ceiling lamps thick full dust, tables and chairs very worn and the floors stuck everywhere. However were the lounge and the outdoor terrace/outdoor restaurant clean and well maintained. The breakfast is definitely needs improvement, not well presented and not a good selection. Prices for drinks and food menu's increased but not over the top.

I have since 2000 regularly at the Arion business and had experienced the very good development of hotels. The hotel was situated directly at the beach promenade and the Nordseeschelde is now a fresh modern hotel in which one can feel comfortable. The rooms are very nice and modern renovated and in particular in fine weather the rooms to the promenade out great with lovely views from the balcony. The room and the nice bathroom have both a good size. The breakfast is always including and offers a good range of the usual breakfast items. It is a la carte ... dinner and I think also half board for the many groups at the restaurant. The dinner for years I didn't use, since we always went to other local restaurants and so can't make comment on that. However, there was a pool with live live lobster tank in the restaurant, which perhaps something about saying the quality. The staff at the front desk is however it was as always not the most efficient and friendly and the checkin/checkout may take a while. A large car park is located at the back of the hotel, but during the day fee. The hotel provides free parking available either directly on the house or on this large car park. The Arion is overall improved quite from the ambiance and I can thoroughly recommend this for business travelers and tourists to decide if you must for € 135, -- at the ocean view rooms are worth. read more

We found the hotel to be very nice, clean and especially pet friendly. were surprised the in a hotel this great dogs are allowed, which we found very good. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The staff was always friendly. The breakfast and dinner tasty, and there was something for everyone. Would go back. read more

Nice hotel right on the beach promenade, quite close to the city center, great view if you had a room with an ocean view. Quite a large hotel with mostly Dutch. Rooms are very nice, not too small, cozy, free safe but could be cleaner. Dusting is not your strong. Free parking in the back. read more

    Nice modern rooms, comfortable wooden floors, comfortable beds, small balcony, flat screen TV, ARD, ZDF and WDR than programs. Free safe, modern bathroom, but not convenient, you have to open up the tap quite far under water properties, not the counter and reference to the energy saving Umweltschonen and don't get wet. Everything looks quite new, except for the parquet floor.

    There is a quite large attractive restaurant with adjoining bar, opposite a very nice lounge. The breakfast was plentiful and good. However, the evening meal was a bit of a catastrophe, while in the hotel again, I would book eat there. Carpaccio for 11.50 euros grated parmesan out of a packet, 4erlei Fischpfanne for 17.50 with a dark Tütensoße didn't match and a small all lobster for 34€ with TK broccoli. As I said breakfast is ok.

    Friendly staff at the front desk, we had only the spoke no German, English and French. In the restaurant was all spoke good German. The Frühstücksschicht consisted mainly of young girls and were all super nice, however the graveyard shift staff mainly men, were quite arrogant and pretentious. The rooms could be a lot cleaner, too much dust and sand in the room. The bathroom is very modern but not well designed.

    Hotel is right on the beach, the hotel directly is not a sandy beach, but 50 meters was sand. 10 minutes. Walk away from the city center.
