The Hotel description was very nice and we had expected much. arrived the shock was large. The hotel is located in one of the comfortable worst areas in Nice. The surrounding area is not well maintained. Your dog owners their dogs just on the walkways. The smell is accordingly. The pool is right at the entrance to the hotel. Every guest could get on the chair. But, Speaking 'reserving' are. These are old, the cushions weren't nice holiday feeling and can not be paid at this pool. The hotel room itself was ok on the whole. However the walls are ... very thin and again, you do hear every door, every conversation and also possibly injuring push from the outside street/aircraft and Bahnlärm came in. Although the cleanliness is ok, but I did not love it either. For German guests, that no German television channels. You can only CNN in English and only with sound welcome. If you want to visit the beach, the need to be able to walk well, because you do a trek from at least 15 minutes notice. The next shopping possibilities are some supermarkets, the also about a 15 minute walk away. But if you want to go shopping, must about 7 km to the city. Positive side we would like you secure parking is free to use ( in Nice is necessary and rare) and the staff friendly and helpful. For 5 Euros there is even W-LAN for the whole stay. Hotel Anis in Nice, ideally located in Ortteil La Lanterne, so in the hilly part of Nice, very quiet. Rental car necessary, free parking is available on site. Small restaurant with a good selection and quality. Breakfast buffet costs 10, - Euro extra for French standards and is very plentiful, little shortcoming cold hard boiled eggs. Rooms are big enough and modern almost stylishly furnished, with a flat screen TV with French programs and English speaking news channels and a mini-fridge and the free safe in the summer, air conditioning, beds have a real comforter, so no horse blankets and ... Lakenorgie as is so often to find - sometimes the rooms a small balcony, about 40 cm deep. Smoking rooms available!!!
