Small family hotel, off any tourist centers in a small village in the west of Madeira. Breakfast with everything you want (fruit, yogurt, cereal, rolls, sausage, cheese, jam, eggs), very family, because together at a large table is eaten. Rooms decorated in a traditional style, all newly renovated and clean. Small pool with great views. If you are looking for a complete service and activities in the vacation hotel was definitely wrong, but if a small family, quiet hotel is in good hands right here. read more

Beautiful small hotel with breathtaking views of the sea. The architecture is great, everything is modern, but in trials madeirensischen style. The rooms are great, and the bathroom was nice, modern and with a walk-in shower. Everything seemed very clean and well maintained. Common areas such as the kitchen, billiards/TV room, the swimming pool and terrace are very attractive and well decorated. read more

Very nice rooms, we were very pleasantly surprised. Great bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The breakfast is for the small size of the hotel really good and plentiful. There was everything you could need, fresh fruit and fresh juices about toast, rolls, sausage, cheese, homemade jams, yogurt and cereal. very familiar, all guests can sit together around a large table and you can advise on hiking routes change in the morning.

Staff made us feel very welcome and showed us a room. There wasn't really connections.

Super nice great infinity pool. Unfortunately we didn't use as often as it was quite cool in September. In addition there was a pool table, which we sometimes loved using every night.

Great location with one hand impressive view of the sea, very quiet and relaxing. Furthermore, the surrounding area really nothing, absolutely nothing. Nearest supermarket only in Calheta (at the beginning of the entrance to the hotel there is only a small bar where you can buy drinks in a pinch), next restaurant in Prazeres or Paul do Mar (and he was not really exhilarating choice). We wound up moving more often during cooked hotel in the communal kitchen, because we didn't want evening long days out. Always take the ways to Madeira longer than it looks, as the streets are small, cramped and curvy. The hotel is located on 600m and, therefore, it was always about 3 -4°C cooler than down by the sea.

8 Rooms, really lovingly decorated and with much genuine wood. Wooden floors, so a bit noisy. LAN-cable in every room. We never met at the large Speisetafel more than 1-2 other couples. There is a buffet breakfast every morning. With an informal sharing of experiences on routes etc. In fact every evening there or cook your own food and drinks in the fridge. Delicious food: about 5 minutes drive at the hotel Villa Mia (in sight, but 300 meters deep!). The Levada Nova runs directly in front of the house, hike to Ponta do Pargo lighthouse 3 h. Car generally ... highly recommended to the points are as follows the hikes. The entrance to the hotel is steep streets like a lot in Madeira: with small car 1. Hallway full speed ahead and 5 meters try - no problem. The staff was always friendly and tried hard, but a bit unprofessional (occurs always in Privatkleidung; an in-depth phone call the guestrooms combine dominated not all staff; on a positive: the cordless phone we were taken to dinner, if in this time a call for us arrived.) read more
