Hotel La Tambra^{(3 stars)}

The renovated Comfort-double rooms have very good taste and are modernly furnished, the bathroom has a shower, bidet and toilet with pleasant timber floor boards. Everything makes a very clean impression.

The food was certainly not as good as last year, it didn't even exceed my expectations of a 3-star hotel nor the one of south Tirolean cuisine, the likes of which you can get in those famous ski huts. Breakfast was acceptable, the bright rolls however reminded of pre-baked bread.

The staff is friendly, knowledge of foreign languages is varied but mostly good, particularly since the service personnel mostly don't speak any Italian, if they do then as a foreign language. Parking lots are scarce and were not cleared of snow. Caution is required with reservations: An immediate complaint by telephone due to a reservation error was not accepted because there was no written evidence. The customer had the financial disadvantage here.

Relatively small entrance area, hardly any seating places, in particular in front of the fire-place, the bar is also entrance to the restaurant. The ski drying room has very efficient shoe-warmer.

The ski bus stop is right in front the hotel. To the center it is approx. 10 min on foot. Some shops are in direct vicinity, e.g. a sports shop, arts and crafts, a small supermarket. If there's a lot of snow you can ski/board up to the hotel.
