Room with a view of the sea booked, one on the side street to get, where you the sea with a lot of effort on a construction ruins hinwegschauend straight still could see. Condition of the room catastrophic-blood on the wall, old partly broken equipment, nonfunctional kleinfernseher. Complaint at the front desk led to the offer of zimmerswechsels with additional payment (!), which we perforce made. The hotel has fully engage with guests from Eastern Europe umonrientiert. One evening have about 200 polish guests checked in, the without extra charge the best rooms got. Insults of the staff of the ... polish guests, not admit for dinner because of shorts, we have experienced several times. Also otherwise the famous polish schmimpfwörter on every corner hear. Good hotel, shouts a desperate need for renovation, with mostly unfriendly employees-here there was only a few exceptions - particularly unfriendly the bartenders in the evening in the hall. Food was good and very varied. read more

A big room with a large bathroom, a bed on wheels and a mini bar without content. Everything clean and tidy, however no change of sheets in two weeks. Location and the beach perfect, all room with a view of the sea. Who cocktails and juice from the automat and everyday the same and cold food food is in the right place here. Theme nights are not to be recognized and halfheartedly decorated. Tapas at the pool bar out warmed up (but erkaltete ) dishes from the day before. Evening entertainment with partly good program, however each evening the same ... horribl singer. Safe, billiards and Kicker only for a fee. Midget Golf and pool towels for a deposit. Area, staff wonderful, eating and drinking grauenhafft. Not recommendable! read more

This was our 3 time in this hotel, but this year the food was terrible. Very poor quality of meat (pork tough, fish pangasius once a week sole.) Probably is because of the new owners. read more

A hotel best location in Playa la Arena. For schwarzsandigem beach only approximately 100 meters. The hotel in puncto cleanliness to the best which i in my various kanarenbesuchen experienced. The fremdsprachenkenntnisse at the front desk are very improvement (exception Paula). Which i my vacation unfortunately spoil the food was. 14 days always a same tasteless menu! The worst in my travels. If you don't large importance on a reasonably good food sets i can recommend the hotel. However, if you on vacation also well be fed should distance About this hotel take. read more

Our trip took 14 days. Clientele: german, british, rich older eastern europeans with young women and two-three children. Wireless internet everywhere. At the 50 children to our time. We are not free so much trouble, please read everything. Seven days were nice and seven days a nightmare. In advance, and we swear, we have three cockroaches seen in the dining room, in the toilets in front of the dining room and at the kids disco. We have already on the first day the sick children seen. Strong acute are cough and stomach intestine virus. Our child, two and a half ... years, after a week with an extremely strong stomach intestine virus. We only in the hotel eaten. At the end we had a doctor's bill and medikamentenrechnung nearly four-area. Our child has six days only broken and diarrhea. For inpatient treatment to avoid, we have a lot of nerves, time and money invested. It is a big hotel. Unfortunately the complex not spacious, but concentrated. Inside, there is a piano bar. At the piano bar from 10:00 until 24:00 drinks. There is also water in bottles with or without carbonation. Also there the only sensible coffee maker or the only reasonable coffee. read more

    The walls are with a carpet covered, so if a virus in the hotel is available, this virus no more can be removed. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub with a shower. We had a fridge.     There is a plenty of choice of food and drinks. There was pork, veal, turkey, fish, clams, squid. The offer and the preparation of roasted sea fish and sea products are less than satisfactory, rather sufficient. Shrimps there was once, were roasted-accessories or zusatzsachen were not handed out. We have already experienced better. Every evening there is a thematic evening. Unfortunately wasn't in 15 days become reality. The dishes we can only adequate. That the food in hotels repeats, is standard. Is critical, that some of the meals of the night before for lunch as a novel food being prepared. Some times there were than fish pangasius-and the in Spain. Very often there was breaded fischpüreekugeln. Altogether there were many breaded food. Fruit: bananas, oranges, pears, cut papaya and kiwis. Once there was sliced melons. Every day three times three centimetre cut watermelon. The water melons were sweet-tried it once. We have never stayed in twenty times Spain such a mangebot water and honey melons experienced. The cut fruit looks like a buffet for the hostel. The whole fruit is tile. Ice cream: is delicious as the italians. But be careful: the ice must each take with the same spoon. The ice spoon is accessible and during the meals in the same water. There was always extreme risk of infection. Unfortunately nothing local.

    At the front desk hardly speak german. Any one may german due to new tax nothing special. English is really helpful. in the dining room german and english spoken. Cleaned day and night, you have the feeling from 06:00 until 12:00 p. m.. The room was every day cleaned. Towels are changed every day, also without request. Bed sheets were werent changed once, so we at the end to vomit and diarrhea sleep should be. If you liked to also a stomach intestinal virus got, ask for room service, and need not more in the dining room to eat. During the 14 days was the hotel of any managers surveyed, what the score little brought. Before the inspectors arrived, was probably the middle manager in the hotel and has a little glitz instructed.

    There are three pools. A pool for adults, two for children. The water was pleasantly warm, seawater with chlorine. There was entertainment from 10:00 until 12:00 p. m.. Every day kids disco. Every evening shows. The entertainment is not in german. At the pools there were too few beach chairs, so it was almost funny, is to get a beach chair.

    We had 14 days sun. Only good weather. There's a lot to see and something to do. If you want a lot of works and little time for relaxation has, should good money. Shopping, hiking, bootausflüge, jet ski, amusement parks-everything was possible and in a short time. The beach the elevator in 50 metres away. Generous hotel in perfect location, directly above the wonderful beach 'Playa de la Arena'. Interior not any longer the newest, but still functional, although a little run down. By all inclusive-offer has the quality of the meals and drinks unfortunately massive decreased. No class, but mass. Staff service minded and quick. read more

The hotel itself was very nice. Very big, great entrance hall, great view to the neighboring island La Gomera, top pool area, great food! The hotel is already a bit older, but we found, that it still beautifully maintained was. We had booked all inclusive and were very satisfied. The types of people were also okay, there were russian, french, english and german. read more

    The room itself was okay. Not too big and not too small. Of the facilities it was fully sufficient. There was an airco, safe, tv and minibar. The balcony but i found but very big. The bath was also okay! Clean, there was a bathtub and a shower. Small drawbacks you had to here but, small hole in the ceiling or handle on the door the shower was from.

    With the service we were satisfied. In the restaurant were as good as all very friendly and almost always attentive. Over the cleaning of the rooms we can't complain. Problems or we didn't have any complaints. We had to almost no english speak, as we were with german understood.

    There were leisure time offers many, but wasn't take part. There were 2 nice pools, one heated the other not. However, we only used it once, since we otherwise always at the beach or.     We found the location of the hotel great. From the beach it was no 5 minutes to walk and nearby there were small purchase possibilities for us was fully sufficient have. From the airport to the hotel we are about 1,5 hours with the bus drove. Approximately 30 meters away from the hotel there were a bus stop. As excursion possibilities was a lot offered. We were for example in the Loro Park and with a sailing ship on dolphin and walbesichtigung gone.

The hotel's location is very peaceful and nice. The most rooms have lateral view of the sea. The rooms with a direct view of the sea have a good view of the neighboring island La Gomera. The rooms were clean. The towels not changed daily. All beds are on wheels and not find! Double rooms, everyone has a single bed the it is impossible to ascertain! Wifi is everywhere available, against a very high fee! 2 Euro on the day. / week 21 Euro. The food was tasteless and cold. read more

The hotel is actually very good and beautifully landscaped, the employees are very friendly and are willing to help. The guest crowd is mostly from Poland, russians and french, together. In addition to some scandinavians and a few british and german. Unfortunately annoyed the evening entertainment their volume until about 12:00 p. m. every evening was good to hear. However you can with closed balcony door nevertheless sleep. Also the animation at the pool, the in my opinion much too much chlorine was was very loud. The animation was only in french, which did not disturb us however, because ... we love this' kindergartenattraktionen for adults' anyway not very. The breakfast and the main meals find in buffet form instead of. The buffets are varied and rich. The staff fast and nice! We could our half board for only 10,- Euro per day/person on all inclusive move. For this we got then in the afternoon cakes, as well as all drinks by the pool, at the bar, in the restaurant and in the hall without further cost. It was worth it in any case. Nevertheless is the all inclusive-option for the variety of the bars and restaurants in the area in the medium term for certain economically fatal. Who evenings not in the hotel food and a restaurant visited, the will be surprised as few guests and as the hosts with the guest numbers can survive. After extensive excursions with our rental car we have seen, the place del duque in adeje the better choice for the next vacation on this beautiful island is.     The 1st room was not there the room and the balcony on the street side were convenient. Immediately we were given but for an extra charge a nice large room on the 8. floor with full view of the beautiful pool area and on the sea. The room was cleaned thoroughly. But it should new bedding was, as some holes in. Good bed. Every day well cleaned balcony, room and bathroom. Air conditioning not needed.

Also this was our 2. time in this hotel. The first time 3 years ago, as the hotel still on the spring group belonged. The palms this group and also the name meets a but everywhere, on the shower curtains, the teppichvorlegern, the table cloths, sometimes in the dishes. The soap dispensers were during our presence against 'be live' dispenser replaced. We had booked all inclusive. What annoyed us, are the blöden wristband, before 3 years there was a map, on which the booked achievement was noted. The entire area and also our rooms were always very clean. Special requests ..., such as 3. ceiling or the repair of the broken balcony lighting was within a few minutes. Great! But there is also the only drawback: the balcony lighting was around exactly 9:50 p. m. off and in the whole hotel. If you like we one child has, which already sleeps and outside, still wanted to read, is without light not possible. Why is saved? Ever we had the impression, that very much electricity is being saved. read more

    Our room was despite repeated visit and please to a room far above only on the 4. floor. But it was always clean, however the beds... Worn out. Some days we had miniameisen in the room, but the cleaning lady with a spray successfully combated. A dead cockroach was a morning in the room. The hotel is already in need of renovation, you can see it everywhere. Something must be done about it immediately. Is not fair, that the so-called family room actually normal double rooms are. Which is the higher price justified?

    The buffet is huge and everything tasted good. Only the vegetables and the noodles were always hardly salted or seasoned. But you could spice it up. Otherwise everything was delicious. Lunch was from of the pool bar the restaurant moved, good idea, therefore hygienic and more choice. At the pool bar you could the whole day fast food get. Who is too putrid, lunch in the restaurant to go, we should also not over 'only fast food lunch' complain about.

    We are only at 23:00 hours in the hotel arrived. The lady at the reception was surly. Not nice. Which noticed to us, is the lack of doormen, which one of the last times welcomed, also a luggage service as the previous times known, was not offered us. However on the next day we met the sunshine at the front desk know. Zuzanna speaks not only german and other languages, it was very warm, nice and helpful. Thank you! Otherwise was the staff always friendly and nice, no matter wether in the dining room (it was cleared away quickly, only the orders for beverages were often not), in the child animation ( reiko is great!) Or the maids.

    The two pools were always clean and in the afternoon very warm. However, i have after swimming always spots, but after i always after a swim had showered, this is also gone. Chairs sufficiently available. At the kids club is unfortunately saved. Was 3 years ago here crafts, kneaded or painted t-shirts, are now 2 times daily games were offered, but only with existing things like ninepins, kinderarmbrust, Midget Golf etc. Otherwise only ausmalbilder and playground structure. The kids disco has improved and is now instead of 3 hours only 1 hour. It will be about 20 minutes the usual songs played together dancing. What not at all is, is the 'bouncer game' after around 30 to 40 minutes. For example stopptanz or visit to Jerusalem. The rausgeflogenen children with a lollipop adopted, for these children is that the mini disco closed. Every evening, i weeper children seen, which is not understood, why has already to go. So not at all!

    On the black small beach was already much written, baden is difficult, the currents (yellow flag) are very dangerous. Children definitely not alone into the sea leave. The shopping facilities are enough. Definitely rent a car and the area explore. We have this time a guided tour to La Gomera made, very worth seeing.

    Room are outdated. It was everything ok! Just as in the other evaluations described, there are everywhere small ants in the room and the beds are really on wheels. Because we the other evaluations had read, you could prepare for it. Therefore we didn't complained. Because there is nothing else! Cleaning was okay! Once came the towels first at 19:00 o'clock.

    So the food, was really not great! We are germans and not spoiled german. But such a food... So there was always in the evening, lunch and in the evenings always sausage/sausages. I mean not only, the this sausage was, but in the selection of these were always there! You can really not see more and then taste it sweet! The food is really very english and that's a pity! Because potential the room, with the division, but there is really much greasy and much finished products! You can tell in the morning, the cake, small pastries are not from those baked, rather excited. However the breads and bread were always very good and good in terms of taste %blank%! The dessert was not the brüller defendendo. But i would like to especially on the pool bar go back, because this, is really an isolence. Firstly, as described above, is almost the enitre day, the three-quarter room separated. Then it becomes for kernzeit times bit and then there is a little more choice about the food. But that is the joke. Always sausages /Hot Dog/ burgers/noodles/red sauce and a bit of salad/pizza/some dessert / some fruit. But everything so carelessly made. The british feed it, but the germans? Oh man, really a shame what is offered overred over there.

    So, for the waiters is lots to say, because these really for a 4 star hotel not that is what it should be. We had all-inclusive. As the first place to for dinner say, because it really didn't work! If you about after half 8. in the evening came, you had to other line from the restaurant to wait angeholt to be, and then to the capacity to be brought. What i didn't understand, the sense. Because you were then picked up from the staff (man with gray soldatenuniform terrible) and this brings a iergendwohin without a plan to have, what tables really are free. Where you might not even want to sit outside, and not even silverware and glasses there. Really terrible man! There is for the waiters a few good staff, especially an older more slender man, which is really on the ball and also controlled his handicraft, but many not! I am from the subject and this was good, it is really a shame from the hotel, this, the hotel just down come, the it iergendwie works. Also the staff is far from enough, many had correctly schwitzflecken on the shirts. Are running and so on.! Then one saw that these were tired! Always have the same persal the 9 days seen. But research, were always little andersder used, the not always the same at his place was! Then the Piano Bar! Why is it only bottled water? You could not different rules? Why should one itself as in the school in a row in the evening at the Piano Bar queue? Terrible! The hotel this could be much nicer and more effectively solve. Why are so few tables outside on the terrace at the Piano Bar? Terrible, because if you get there too late, one gets no more place outside. Then at the pool bar. Why it is the a part of the bistro the three-quarter day from? Only the core time for lunch, will briefly opened. Terrible!

    Entertainment i cannot judge, we did not go through. Because they hardly to see! The two pools were very nice! However the loungers not clean. The mattresses, in one place/capacity, were always full, shit. Instead of the, the staff time to come and this clean, we must do it yourself. Because this capacity for shade seekers is perfect!

    The location i think for the south really great, because it is not in the strongholds of los cristianos and las americas but really top and it was really a nice view and has a great beach. The beach is not to the hotel. The beach is beautiful fine sand and black. Is also very clean, and you can from the hotel very quickly, in the hotel at the pool area past, down with the glass elevator to the shopping promenade and over the street and then is the beach already there. The is really great! But pool chair cost 3 €and umbrella 3 €. We have with towels on the 2. day ones. We had three days a rental car, and it was really everything great to reach. I recommend everyone, to book a rental car. We stayed there from Germany already occasion and it was so easy. Really great run.

From the oberliga in the kreisklasse or from the spring -hotel the be live -hotel. We stayed at easter 2011 for the first time Tenerife and in terms of our choice of hotel fom the reviews in the relevant forums to be guided. Because of the many good reviews we decided then for the Playa de la Arena nearby Los Gigantes in the south tenerife decided. A really good choice, we were very satisfied. Chic entrance hall, chic pool area, great water fall, excellent food, friendly service-crew. Easter 2012 we have our vacation in the north, in Puerto de la ... Cruz spend. Another area, very green and lots of possibilities, the pool once to leave. Also a lovely vacation. In the autumn 2012 we again the hotel Playa de la Arena in the south of the island for our 13-day vacation when FTI selected. First we found out, that the operator of the hotel has changed, from the former spring -hotel is now a be live -hotel became. At the reception we were about 'welcomes', you could also of interest of the front desk employees speak. You were handled, not unfriendly, but processed. After checking in one can say: everything is taken care of or something like that. No, you turned around and let us just. The hotel room was after north-west orientated, we had a wonderful view from the top of a construction ruins from the last year directly in front of the hotel. ( to the memory: we have already stayed in this hotel once before). Without asking us however at the front desk a room upgrade for 6 Euro per day offered ( pool- and view of the sea). We passed. With the described view we could life. Upgraded from half board to all inclusive is also possible, costs per day and person 10 Euro. Of breakfast to all inclusive it costs 18 Euro per person. Wi-fi in the hall for free, on the rooms 3 hours 5 Euro and so on safe in the room 2 Euro per day. The be live-group marketed this hotel essentially in England. The consequence, about 75% of the hotel guests are English, in addition to spanish and guests from the baltic. Oh, french, a few German from east and west were also represented. Another consequence: also the food is meanwhile anglophil oriented. If you like it?! Have we thought, that the German world champion in the reserve of pool-loungers are. For English guests are we at stadtmeister. It prohibits the hotel on information sheets and numerous signs by the pool these reservations expressly. Stay therefore persistent and forget their courtesy, in this hotel they are currently (in 2012) with courtesy not much further. This time need you, from the existing cutlery respectively dishes the clean parts schedules. Glasses were dirty, plates have leftovers and the cutlery is partly not available. Big all inclusive-hotel in Playa la arena with in terraces laid out garden area, two pools, a water slide and sun terraces and a laid out water fall. Great large entrance hall with front desk, a small gift shop and a office, where you excursions and rental car can book. The guest structure is mixed, many families with small children. It were many british people and russians in the hotel, less German. read more

    The rooms are really big. The furnishing is rather older and here and there also flaws, however the rooms were always clean and that is the most important! The double bed consists of two together pushed single beds, the also gladly times apart slides. Otherwise there is a large wardrobe with a safe (2€ per day) and a mini fridge. The small tv has some German program. On the balcony there were two chairs and a table. The bathroom is also quite large and there are shower and bath tub.

    In the main restaurant there in the morning, afternoons and evenings buffet. Breakfast is rather on the taste of the English guests laid out. There was for example beans, bacon, sausage, etc. Evenings there was daily changing themed buffet ( for example canarian, french, american, spanish, etc.) some dishes were partly unfortunately very bland and tasteless. The buffet is however more than enough so that something there for every taste is! In the restaurant by the pool there are in the afternoon snacks ( for example hamburgers, pizza, salad...) and drinks. In the music there is a bar evenings live music and shows. In the piano bar is evenings regularly piano music. The cocktails from the all inclusive program you can't really be recommended, sangria you could however good drink! ;-) Apart from that are soft drinks, beer, coffees, wines, canarian rum, Gin, whisky, etc. Inclusive. At the Piano bar you get 0.5 liter bottles of water to go.

    There are 2 pools and a water slide, sunbeds and -umbrella are included pool towels gives it against deposit. At the beach you can chairs and umbrellas for 3€ per day rent. As mentioned above is the beach very tidy and clean. The dark sand was in the sun however very, very hot, so in any case bathing slippers pack up! There is a entertainment program offered, for example pool games, and evenings there were shows and entertainment. These offers but we didn't use it.

    The hotel lies only about 100 meters away from the beach from Playa la arena. It is a dark sandy beach, but very nice and tidy is. The lower hotel entrance one arrives directly to the small promenade with some restaurants, bars and shops. The place is however rather small and quiet! Playa la arena is a great starting point for excursions. From Los Gigantes ( about 3 minutes away by car) from some boat trips offered. Also the Loro park in Puerto de la Cruz and a trip to the Teide I can only recommend!

In the hotel I felt really good. The food was good. Very annoying was, that some guests with wet bathing suits on the chairs in the restaurant set. The staff were very attentive. Partly speak German, which for me is not relevant, since I both Spanish, as well as speak English. The hotel is beautiful, you can always find a lounger by the pool. But unfortunately was both pools, with over 30 degrees water temperature, no cooling possible. The beach is small, a walk on the beach not really possible. You can bathe just as good swimmer, as the waves ... mostly were so high, that one almost overwhelming was. Almost every day was red, sometimes yellow geflaggt. In short: the next time I would go for a car hire to more beautiful beaches to go, respectively at larger beaches book! read more
