Very large congress hotel opposite the airport, nevertheless you didn't hear them. 'deluxe' between separate rooms mean, that you the neighbors can hear-that could get on your nerves if the Indians next door his boisterous conferencing and one wants to sleep. Why one a new hotels not so can build that you your peace has, as you understand Europeans probably not. Parking spaces sufficient, dinner in the hotel bar excellent, staff accommodating, Wi-Fi very fast and free of charge. For business a clear recommendation, especially if you compare, in Welch shabby state the other hotels in Genf mostly. This stands ... out here positively. read more

Great hotel directly next to the fair. For fair visitors it was just perfect, although during trade fairs very expensive, but that is precisely the Switzerland. Service, breakfast etc.., all the very best. Free bus ticket for Genf and setting included. read more

Update the room

Here a small room-Update to my last review in September 2011 This time was in the other part- Rezeptionsbau -accommodated. The rooms as well all renovated Size of the room much smaller than in the other wing - window to tilt, living room with carpet, double bed ( many pillows), seating area, desk, small flatscreen tv ( no German transmitters and little programs, as allegedly a 'reset' was done. But for days not!), kettle, sliding door closet ( difficult to apply ) with a safe, luggage Store ( automatic Photosensor, which too quickly again ran out), hangers, mini bar ( ... subject to a charge). The bathroom in this rooms is optically very stylish, but very small - little surface to the file on washbasin, low water pressure, make-up mirror, hairdryer, enough towels, bathrobe, shower separated-worked well with two Settings. Also here is the wiki free, but worked in the construction really bad to not at all! Alternatively and utter despair, it is also possible, chargeable Wi-Fi for orders, but very expensive is! This type, I would only recommend, a window the tilt/Open is important - apart from that rather other construction above the bar, since this simply better, generous and with a wiki are! Hopefully is the hotel accordingly - so you in the other building tv-programs and Wiki in future be better able to receive! read more

For one night as a stopover at the airport or short get away to Geneva in order, for an extended stay much too expensive (for €-course). Good is the free bus ticket for those in the city, the breakfast was okay, but No 39, -Swiss franc value! read more

The Starling Hotel Geneva is located about five-ten minute drive away from the airport and in the meantime (was X-years) very nicely renovated. We had a room in the left wing, which already looked perfect from the corridor are all decorated in white with great staylish pictures on the wall. The room was very large, with carpeted floors, a large double bed (large pillow selection), two telephones, falchbildschirm tv (unfortunately only pool of broadcasting corporations and second channel of German and French channels and ausl.), kettle, minibar (stocked) with glasses selection, large closet, iron and ironing board, luggage rack ..., living area with glass table and upholstery, day bed in a special kind of window-bay, Wiki free! Large, spacious bathroom with bath, separate shower, extra separated toilet, large sink with Frontspiegel, make-up mirror, hair dryer, lush area to counter, toiletries (BodyL, shower gel), sufficient towels, large glasses. A really great room, very spacious, new and sparkling clean! It is truly excellent and highly recommended for, inter alia, business etc. a very nice bar on the ground floor and a restaurant round the whole-as well as all of the common areas are great designed, clean and stylish design. Thumbs up for this hotel! read more

That was the idea at the front desk when we wanted to check in. The hotel is large, is hotel & conference center, but as 100 people in the late morning to check in wanted, because the lunch for twelve hours was ordered and then our meeting in the large hall should begin, because each hotel staff fled, the only walk. As he/she looked to have hardly any idea of how the queue began, the reception, a drawer to open around in it zukramen, unfortunately the requested not to find, to immediately return to the back of the hotel to ... disappear. So could the individual at the front desk alone with his fight at the machine back to the new note, that no room is free, (by the way we had was now about six weeks in advance). In the late afternoon, of course in the queue classified, there was finally got to room. That it could, was demonstrated on the next morning, four courts were to check-out and it was really making rapid progress. The room was standard with safe, bathrobe, slippers and ironing board-, clean, the windows are soundproofed, air-conditioning could be turned off, only the shower was probably from a previous guest had been gekillt, you could neither the level nor the angle setting, but with a bit of goodwill we could have to wash at that point and the shaving mirror worked fine. The buffet was good during the conference and the breakfast the next morning was again to be desired, the selection was well arranged and in the flask was empty syrup, there was again no one responsible for the population, around 20 minutes later we had to date. The Starling is located right next to the airport, Geneva is small, the airport is not too far out, but ' centrally located is different, if you are going to Geneva and want a better value of the stay not, in my opinion, is worth a short trip to another house. But the rooms for our conference were good. read more

You have to be very warm clothes, in the icy atmosphere No icicles to catch. Never had such a refrigerator occupied. Front desk destaströs. In our statement we got the answer, that the staff was only there for three weeks. Oh well. As a business-dump correct, however, if you want to feel like a guest, not. read more

Very large hotel at the airport with pool archived

The hotel is very large and is right next to the airport and the Expo fairgrounds. There is a footpath (about ten minutes) to the airport, but this is close to the highway and over a bridge, so that this only without luggage is highly recommended. The hotel also offers a shuttle service. The path leads past at the airports, so that you in five minutes train ride in the center of the town as you as a guest free pass for public transportation, will certainly better than the expensive and bad taxis in Geneva! The hotel has two buildings ... with different rooms: in, Neubau' you can't open the Windows but the rooms are large and nicely designed. The old building is partially renovated with nice rooms (more expensive) or (see pictures) umrenoviert, but you can open the window and some of the rooms are also relatively quiet given the proximity to the highway and the airport. The view can be in the morning, there can be noise on the fair if activities take place. The room category, Superior' was very large, but, in some respects, not very up-to-date (shower curtain in the bathtub, very soft bed). The tv menu is cumbersome and time-consuming, with a view to use pay-per-view! The room had a safe. The pool is very large and beautifully designed complete with sun beds and lots of light. The sauna is small and old, unattractive Umkleidräume integrated. The, Kleiderordnung' is flexible, in other words with or without swimming clothes. The breakfast buffet is extensive and good, but you should at the check-in immediately after the rate included breakfast questions so that it was much cheaper. Dinner at the restaurant is good, but very expensive, and the waiting times can be long. The hotel was previously and only Crowne Plaza is highly recommended if you're interested in the pool and the fitness centre or the proximity to the airport or to the trade fair has. read more

A good business hotel with little choice of food, with three dining restaurant Fleischgängen from CHF 40. Staff speaks only French and English. Unfortunately not very cheap at the breakfast much at 7.30 o'clock dried out. Otherwise would be the quality of the food was really good. The usual toiletries in the Junior suite at the front desk hassle be ordered. The bathroom was very bad from a heated towel warmer. The Junior suite has the size as described for business people and is well equipped (trouser press, iron) read more

Obviously a hotel for congress participants. The staff is completly overcharged when the hotel is full and registration took over 30 minutes. Language skills of registration staff poor. At breakfast long lines waiting to be seated, an unnecessary copy of USA customs. Let the clients go in and find their seats by themselves. read more
