New York was the last leg of our trip. In order to verify, 'cheap' to stay and still a good standard, we booked the Novotel. We didn't regret it and would during the next stay stay here again. The rooms are for new york standards tidy, clean, modern and large enough. We have completely different experienced. Walking is here anyway everything distance, the Times Square directly next to it and from the room also visible. read more

Great location with a view of Times Square from the room’s window and within walking distance of the square. There are a couple of metro stations nearby, as well as restaurants and coffee shops. Simple and comfortable room. Polite staff. read more

Our stay in New York last december was awesome great! We had a room in one of the top floor with partial views of the Times Square. A really great view! The room was attractive and newly renovated. Especially impressed us the bed! Really stylish!
I can Novotel in New York simply recommend. It lies central and is easy to reach! read more

We were 8 days in the Novotel and must say it was perfect, of course, it is not any longer completely rope fresh and a bit outdated, but there are all hotspots in Schlagdistanz.
Alone the view of the Time Square is lovely.
We can also the previous speaker regarding the fridge not endorse, had no problem. read more

The hotel is in an optimal location, you can go almost everywhere on foot and there are several subway-stations nearby. Restaurants, supermarkets, Starbucks and musical theater ( Mamma Mia and Jersey boys) in direct neighborhood. Times Square about 500 meters away - I could from our room from see! We had a room in the 12th Floor, from the traffic we only heard very little. The room was big enough and modernly furnished. The Kunststoffbodenbelag I found not so great. Note: nothing mini bar take, perhaps own things to cool. Any takings is registered and in charge. We could however ... at the front desk clear up. The staff could friendly his, on our complaints (lamps did not work) but quickly.
All together a very recommendable hotel. read more

The location is really perfect. The Housekeeping unfortunately not. Although or perhaps in spite of the as we know, expensive hotel room should you for a lot of money at least a clean room can expect. The way with complaints handled leaves a lot to be desired. A lot broken ( printer. Computer. Window) but it seems not to care. All together very unloving and practical dealing on the guest. read more

See our reviews of the hotel from March and August 2011! When this hotel is simply right everything: location, service, friendliness, room equipment. From the value for money is very good. In New York we book always only this hotel!
Only one negative: the wiki in the room is not free (about 5 dollar/ day, or about 40 dollar/ week) and super slow! read more

The Novotel is very centrally located at the Times Square and is for New York-Beginners ideally, since everything from the touristic program heard, nearby is. Very good was, that children under 16 are free at the (small ) family room may stay. The breakfast is for the children also free. On breakfast buffet you should however on waiting times prepare, as the staff not very organized works. Often there was no bread because, actually a Dfing the impossibility for breakfast. The rooms are reasonablly clean and the whole hotel looks already a bit shabby. In the hallways children play catch ... and catch the skateboard. read more

Hotel was tidy and the standard accordingly. Room was good, bathroom a bit small but altogether very good facilities. We chose this hotel because of the central location the Times Square decided. Most musical are in direct proximity, also restaurant, public transport and sights- everything easy to reach. You had the noise from Times Square from time to time in the room can hear, but was as a part of. Value for money we found for New York quite good. read more

We stayed with friends four days in new York spent. The hotel is in a clean modern condition. It looks from the outside rather plain, but you should not be fooled. The double rooms are very quiet, clean and spacious. Likewise the bathroom was clean, but could use a renovation (but that didn't bother us). At the bar or front desk in the seventh floor was on the roof terrace a great view of Times square. The hotel is the ideal starting point for a city break, as you from here everything, as long as you don't get stuck in ... traffic. The opportunities for shopping as well as guest cities and first sights of all kinds are within easy walking distance. We should go back to NY, then surely in this hotel. read more

We felt very comfortable in the hotel. (26 square meters) large room on the 27th floor with a great view of Times square. We had booked two double rooms with a view of skyscraper 19.-23. Floor. With the windows closed absolutely quiet, of course, noisy with the window open (new York never sleeps!). A bit noisy neighboring rooms (depending on the volume of the entertainment). Staff at the front desk very friendly, helpful and competent. Fahrstuhlbenutzung a problem; no significant waiting times. Everything was clean, no bugs, even a plug adapter for European plugs (110 volts) and standard a ... really useful hair dryer were available. Safety deposit box in the closet and free. If you're not exceptional demands, is in this hotel very well cared for. Ideal location for theaters, and all other sights. In addition to a city tour (Gray line with German speaking guide) is very recommendable a boat tour with the circle line around Manhattan (3 hour). Metro card for seven days (29 US-dollar) it is worthwhile also. MetroSure, no problem. For seven days beginning November 2011 blue sky was Manhattan a dream. Transfer from the airport: on the way there by taxi (85 dollars including tip and bridge toll). Zurückzum Newark Liberty international airport by taxi to Penn station ($7) and from there take the train NJTransit ($12.50 or seniors $8.75) from Newark airport. Ran smoothly and interesting. Border formalities of everything without problems. Incidentally, it gives it for seniors (65 years or from 62) in the sale of tickets or eintrittsgeldern significant reductions. read more

Except for the low fixed shower head mounted on the room nothing complain about. Very quiet, comfortable bed! Room was on the 28th floor with clouds scratches view. A really very relaxing view at night... Just beautiful. Times square view of friends was great, but we would have to 'blink' former. Concierge good and helpful. For a club member lounge access with complimentary Internet computers, wireless, printer coffee, tea, water, fruit, game Console. Nice rooftop terrace seventh floor. Metro around the corner. Really recommendable. (price for the location okay) read more
