This hotel 'sands' offers the perfect ambience for this dream 'Maritius'. At the end a long road, and therefore verkehrslos and quiet, is a wonderful stay with a view of the beautiful bay of tamarin guarantee. The hotel itself is highly recommended. We have not a recognition of something we opposition could have been. Beautiful. The greatest it is, of course, the meals almost ' directly ' at the sea drives, because the dining rooms (open air or under roof) are just as. The sands resort was more of a bigger hotel at the beach of flic en flac. The hotel always seemed very tidy and clean. In the price included in the price wi-fi internet, the hotel offers half-or full board. Between christmas and new year's were mostly french families on site. read more

    We booked the deluxe suite with about 50 µm in a huge living room with a balcony/ terrace and a large bathroom is divided into. In the room is a pay mini bar with very good furnishing. A kettle and soluble coffee are also in the room. The very modern air conditioning ensures that a pleasant temperature. The excellent service is the room always very clean and well cleaned. A tv is available, but with only french channels.

    The sands resort features an the half board integrated buffet with changing themes in the evening, as well as two additional à la carte restaurant. The à la carte restaurant are not the half board integrated, but to compensate for the gesamrechnung per person a rabat of 500 rupees (~ 12,50 Euro) granted. As speciality the hotel offers in addition, a lobster menu directly at the beach at. The quality the more dishes typical of the country in the à la carte restaurant was very excellent. On the daily changing international, mostly european-influenced, buffets were again and again some very good special features are discovered (for example smoked marlin, tuna Carpaccio). Generally tasted us the starters almost always a little better than the offered courses. The breakfast, which also in the buffet is served, seemed after a few days however somewhat monotonous.

    The service was in every aspect excellent. Especially worth mentioning is the room cleaning (a daily times in the morning, once in the evening). At 17 o'clock is every day a complimentary snack, consisting of a hearty and sweet particles and a small rum, brought to the room. At the beach during the day free refreshments. Taxi-or ausflungsbuchung is always and uncomplicated by the concierge possible. Full permanent staff spoke very good english.

    The hotel offers in the price integrated some free activities. These are Tennis, glass bottom boat, water skiing, windsurfing, aqua gymnastics, sauna & hamman, beach volleyball, and still some more. The pay spa area the hotel offers all kinds of massages and beauty treatments. A special feature of the hotel, there is also the possibility a massage directly at the beach. During the dinner, and then plays a local band discreet music. The pool is very nice in the building of the hotel integrated. There is a somewhat deeper 'service' and a not so deep jacuzzi. At the beach are sufficient chairs and umbrellas available. The beach daily in the morning prepared (alluvial seaweed and corals will be removed). For swimming in the sea shoes were almost a must. The sea right on the hotel has a somewhat rocky soil and you can also park your car on sea urchins meeting.

An on-site, but not locked, beach directly adjoined to the individual houses of the hotel. From the door it is only a few meters to the beach. The nearest town with shopping possibilities, restaurants and bars is by bus or taxi in 15 minutes.

Hello, We spend our vacation over christmas and new year's eve 2012/13 here. It is a small, well arranged hotel, every wish was from our eyes and fulfilled immediately. Rooms are very spacious, bathroom very spacious, spa very good. Only during dinner with too much coriander seasoned. Sports facilities were very good, boat trips, water skiing, dolphin watching, horse riding and golf. Very nice hotel at a great beach-not 'new', but in good condition, is somewhat remote shopping bars and restaurants. Pleasant staff, very good sport-and wellness offer. But ( \u263a ) absolutely borderline incidentals for beverages... - here are the boundaries of the Adequacy exceeded. Itself the price for the water at the beach on the level of a Sternelokals in someone from germany city. Without taxitripps to the supermarket a genuine saßbremse -without would be the hotel not recommendable! read more

The hotel complex and the room are very nice. The ges. Facilities and the beach were clean and tidy. However there are also points: Unfortunately are some of the plastic for the beach area broken, also the cushions were not in a good condition. There is pent-up demand. By the pool are beautiful wooden pool chairs with comfortable cushions. On the few intact chairs on the beach, heerrschte the disturbing manned mentality! If you wanted a good space by the pool or beach like, should be very early get up. Perhaps here of the hotel-manager a 'towel-police ' (as it ... already in some kreuzfahtschiffen or good hotels gives) import. If this one with towel or other goods reserved sun lounger looks, the liege label. 30 minutes later controlled the staff, whether the liege still reserved, but without a guest. If that is the case, remove the towel and left the guest a communication. We enjoyed the very much disturbed. The food is also great. All of the staff is exceedingly friendly, accommodating and helpful. read more

Very recommendable - at the quiet end of wolmar, again at the end of flic en flac. Gift shops and restaurants about 1 kilometer from the hotel, good to walk. Hotel offers everything that you need, water skiing, pedal boats and many more included. Great flat beach, has the finest sand in comparison to the northern beaches in flic en flac. Great service in the hotel, the guest is welcome and appreciated. The size from 92 rooms is absolutely great, the October as travel time ideal. Just go there, vacation and 1000 own impressions to take home-) with this ... hotel one makes everything correct. The five stars houses in the neighborhood we didn't other beach and are not friendly, just more expensive. Definitely excursions with mautourco (the, jahn.) Book, circa 60 Euro, catamaran turns, excellent:-). Size of the room fantastic, for fourteen days absolutely great. Have fun! read more

We have september 2012 our vacation the sands resort and we can us hardly imagine, ever a nicer hotel with friendlier staff to find. We can see now how difficult it is a new holiday to book, because every hotel with the sands fairs must. The first impression was just breathtaking. You will be treated to warm, after flowers smelling damp refreshing towels and the lobby brought. Also here at any time an incredibly pleasant smell in the air. Right from the entrance from, the phenomenal view over the pool and right to the sea. It is really much nicer ... than in the catalog. You go from the reception of the koi pond shares the main building in 2 wings. Right comes directly the beautiful open bar area and left the restaurant. The rooms are on 2 wings spread, semicircular to the sea hingewandt. So every guest everywhere a wonderful view through the palm garden directly on the sea. Really priceless! The whole complex is terribly clean and tidy, daily leaves away, swept, poured, etc. But everything was very in the background, never you feel this maintenance work bother us. read more

    Restaurant/bar: Both beautiful, open and with direct view on the sea. In the main restaurant tamarind is breakfast and dinner for half-board guests. At the breakfast buffet there is the world's best 'eggs cook', the every morning smiling, and now on probably 7 languages eierbestellungen to take. Otherwise, everything was fresh and delicious, though perhaps not the largest selection. But the partly negative criticisms in offer for breakfast we couldn't understand. The waiters are always on the way and provide you with coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice, there is muesli, sausage, croissants and a small selection of cheese and sausage. Phenomenal as the hot counter, with eggs to order, sausage, waffles, pancakes, etc. In the resort there are 2 excellent à-la-carte restaurants (half-board guests receive a certain discount if they eat out and not in the main restaurant) we were once in the spices and had an excellent menu. However, this was' normal ' food every evening so tasty, that we not at all the need in one of the other restaurants to go. There was always another theme buffet, indian, asian, mauritian, american etc. Starters and dessert were as a buffet set up. The main courses were directly freshly prepared, here they are the food almost directly from the chef from. It was always fresh, very appealing served and never too busy. For some europeans may one or another food to exotic are, we again fly not around the world then pizza to food. At the latest after the huge selection of desserts, are satisfied to bed. At the bar there was all day snacks, as well as superb cocktails. We have every day at least one drink, sometimes more. The cocktails were always peanuts and super delicious olives. They were free and you could so many as one wanted. However, the the price of drinks covered, the were per drink in the cut between 8 and 10€. At 18:00 started at the bar every evening the entertainment. Every evening playing another volume, mostly, it started with 2 gitarrenspielern until 20:00 to the restaurant 'vorarbeiteten'. Then played then either on the stage a band or a dj.

    Service: The absolutely lobenswerteste was the service. I cannot imagine, that it was in a star hotel can be better. On the flight were our bags in Paris forget. Every in the hotel tried immediately regularly to keep, if and when our suitcase. We could also our rooms on the day of arrival already around 09:00 refer, so that we after check-in and champagne only one and a half hour by the pool waited. In the afternoon there was then a private tour of the entire area. The staff from the bar area spoiled the guests for the whole day at the pool and the beach. First thing in the morning at 10:00 came the first time someone around the sunglasses cleaning. Then there were during the mornings free of charge still a frozen drink and a small snack. In the afternoon then a drink. You could also all drinks and food the at the bar there was also at the beach and at the pool direct for the same price order. Food then small side tables with table cloths and cloth napkin serves. As the star restaurant! 2 times daily the room service, in the evening the curtains closed and a small bar of chocolate on the pillow. Our favorite on this vacation was Kevin, a waiter in the main restaurant. Every evening he took me by the buffet to me to show what food i due to my food allergies not could eat. There was indeed not enough choice for me, he had from the chef also a soup and a dessert for me to prepare. As a service i hadn't expected, but everybody was always trying, their guests a perfect vacation possible. To mention is still, that one in spite of the good services never hassled or observed and you the feeling gets the staff make the just like to.

    Sport: The sport possibilities were also great. You could kayak or pedalo drives so much one wanted. There was Boule, Volleyball or water aerobics in the pool. It is a trip in the glass-bottom boat free of charge. For a fee is' i leave me on a ring behind a speed boat, waterskis' possible. Spa: The spa area is not too big but very nice. There are altogether 3 'private spas', 2 times sauna and steam bath. Each area is little rockwalled and with a shower and beach chairs equipped. The areas must always be rented and are a for one and a half hour available (there was really very little going on, we could always something longer stay). Beside sauna/hammam there was also still different massages. These are quite bookable on short notice and definitely recommendable. Not very cheap but your money was absolutely worth it. Under the massagetischen are available on headroom small water bowls with rose petals. So you the whole time by also here a really great smell in the nose.

    Location: We thought first, that the location the long beach of flic en flac maybe a bit crowded. As the sands at the southern end directly in front of a bay, it was absolutely quiet. Only a couple few schnick schnack-seller, the but never pushy. (however, it was off season, it may be, that in the peak season it was different). Beach: We had definitely from all hotels the still at the beach of flic en flac there were, the most beautiful section. Not only as mentioned above, it was very quiet. The beach was in comparison to the other clearly wide, so that between the chairs terribly lots of space and you very much peace. Also the sand was not so nice as directly in front of this hotel. There were also always enough chairs and beautiful wood phloem-umbrellas, very nice in the landscape introduced. One noticed also here the attention to detail and the specific sense of aesthetics. While all other hotels in the sea a swimmer area with less decorative yellow buoys chains enmarcado was, had the sands its area with large black stones marked off. The sea very good for swimming. Bathing shoes are recommended as sharp corals and sea urchins on the reason to lie. Very it was a pity that also a special resort are with towels be reserved. There were enough (pool and beach), only by the pool there was from 10:00 then hardly people, but noisy reserved beach chairs

A absolute find is this hotel with his extremely very friendly and attentive service of the staff. Beautiful view of beach and sea. Very pleasant size of the hotel, excellent and varied kitchen, no ' battle of the buffet'. Perfect for the 'medieval' generation. The hotel The Sands is very quiet right next to the sea. Already on entering the hotel the front desk the view of the infinity pool and the sea overwhelmed. You feel immediately like in paradise. Later we got then we had a private tour of the hotel, the was shown to us where in the hotel which is to be found-so you just really felt good. The hotel is a four floor complex, the in terms of ... size just perfect. Were predominantly pairs there to have a vacation (many in the honeymoon), very few families. Most guests were from Germany, some from France, England and Italy. We booked half board, what the breakfast buffet and the dinner buffet included. Drinks during dinner you had to pay extra, the prices but were ok. The live music in the evening was great. Bewährend dinner there was decent, beautiful live music, from 20 o'clock - 22 ur played on the small hotel stage every evening another band also live - very nice. Particularly cozy it was if you are in the dolphin bar sat and the msik listened. read more

The bedroom and living room had a king size bed, a desk, a sofa, a mini bar (prices were ok), a kettle (with the coffee and tea making facilities-it was free of charge), a flat screen tv and (on the ground floor) on a small terrace with a table and wicker chairs (the other rooms at 1st and 2. the upper floor over a balcony). Such big room we had in any vacation.

    As i have already mentioned it is right a sea. Because it the final hotel the beach section is, run a few people of other hotels at the beach along, so it is very quiet location. A tip: take a walk through the adjacent forest... At the end a public beach, if se these go along is a kind of lagoon, in the sea -with the panorama you there a wonderful view. The 'centre' of flic en flac (where there is also a spar supermarket) you can on foot go, but the path quite dragging... Recommendable is the bus (departure Hilton Hotel - walk about 10 minutes). This is not very expensive, and it is really fun \u263a the spar Mark there are also many restaurants and bars, as well as a beach front on the locals have a vacation.

Altogether is this hotel definitely recommendable and well, has but unfortunately some faults. A very large shortcoming remains for me the cleanliness especially in the bathroom. I had in the entire vacation no only clean towel. I also had not the feeling, that the floor during our entire stay ever mopped. The 'walk-in wardrobe' rating in my opinion this name. It is more a wet shed with a massive clothes bar, but only! 10! Worn-out iron. So there were a guarantee for wet and storied smelling clothes. The safe however is very good. With the service we were very satisfied. ... Especially for dinner this is very accommodating and attentive ( for example is often the plates for capacity and the waiters already know after a few days the numbers by heart and what the drink of the individual guests are). Also when we one evening once had forgotten, our safe to conclude, we are personally during the dinner then directed (was of course everything-). The pool, the beach and bar, as well as the restaurant were very beautiful and tasteful, against the ubiquitous voglekot was however powerless (you should also on his plate eighth, since the birds otherwise self-serve). The chairs by the pool are very nice, at the beach however are you from weathered plastic and broken and dirty cushions. The service in the hotel is very, very good. We were on arrival greeted by name. Check in took place in the room. The friendliness and attention during our whole stay at the sands. We were just surprised in a four star hotel this finding. Some five star hotels in D-a-CH may as a lesson from. The hotel isn't very large, thus short paths to the pool, restaurant, beach. The food was excellent, we have several times at the buffet in the evening and once in the à-la-carte restaurant eaten.
