Very friendly and helpful staff at all level, everything in good and well maintained condition, the extensive pool area with two beautiful pools and large beach-area. Excellent service also there, very many loungers and umbrella available; the sand was fine and clean, the entrance into the sea very flat, the water clear and clean. Also in january approximately 22 degrees and so good for swimming. During the day outside also pleasantly warm to hot, only evenings it could cool, and at night time cold (no heating in the room - logically, at the site). I was but also really in ... the winter since; if you don't too hot wants, for the is the ideal time. Hotel area is centralmagnificently; countless skyscraper, lots of construction works - Dubai stop. You like it or not. Good is the right reachable pedestrian precinct 'the walk ' at the sea along (although usually the view of the sea of hotels or construction covered), with many restaurants and bars. Definitely in the hotel only with breakfast book the food in the hotel is super, but partly extremely expensive. However: alcohol there were only there; if you're a good wine for supper want, has no choice (but in the hotel several good options). Children had it also, but for my taste not too many; no annoying animation, only a few live music (in the hotel bar). In my room with a view of the sea, 2. floor, it was in any case always very quiet. Excursions you can almost only by taxi make; on buses i don't know. The next metro-station is around 20 minutes away on foot (however is the metro actually a top thing; modern, clean, fast and very cheap). Generally Dubai but definitely not a very cheap plaster; but if you have stayed in a 5 star hotel attracts, should so what can live. The taxi -service is however very good, on request there is as well hotel-private limousine. Can't really anything negative about the hotel find some small details there is always, but overall i can recommend it without hesitation. And would stay there again, just for pure beach holidays. read more

That was our 4. Dubai-vacation. Our summary for this hotel. Never again! What a clean(noisy) hotel room, if you couldn't sleep at night, if the own hotel until 3 in the morning:00 hours the music in 2 hotel's own discos bothersome (and every night). During the day construction noises (from its own hotel). Because in the morning at 8:00 o'clock directly at the breakfast terrace palm trees like. The service(for example turn down service) there was time, once again not! It smelled the whole day to food in the hotel and on the balcony. At our time were ... lots of russian guests since, not just silent behavior have. We would never spend another vacation in this hotel. It has its 5 stars does not earn. Last year we stayed at the ritz -Carlton. This hotel lies directly next to it. The is a difference as day and night. read more

We like international audience, allerdingsschlecht -behaved russians not. If this additionaly leads, that my wife and i the breakfast in separate restaurants to take, then the no experience that we need. Additionaly, if the front desk no remedy was offered. For example a reenter upgrading in the breakfast restaurant the guests with half board was not accepted. It is not for everyone, if you in the morning, afternoons and evenings the küchendunst of großrestaurants already in the hall, and the bar rather more loud than good. Fortunately nearby the walk good bars and restaurants in other hotels, the term top ... truly deserve. Mövenpkck, Sofitel, Hilton and ritz. Never again this hotel read more

A successful vacation overall - directly at check-in was our room upgegradet. Accordingly we had a big balcony with a view of the Atlantis & the famous sailing. The service was first class - our room was 2 times cleaned daily & the beds evening even 'turned down'. The spa & sports was wonderful! With the taxi one comes fast to all malls & also on foot one is fast in a long shopping street with lots of bars, restaurants & other shops. The beach was very clean & even there was a waiter, the the chairs at the beach ... served. In the evening there was then delicious canapes in the lounge area for the club members. We are already looking forward to it to come back again. read more

From 8-12-2012 until 16-12-2012 we are in the hotel le royal Meridien resort & spa in Dubai %blank%. Since we from 1995-2005 have been several times were there, we were very curious, as it has developed, or has changed. We can say: the high standard at the time is definitely have been kept. As well as the well-kept appearance inside as well as outside. Respect! On the first day we arrived after an overnight flight in the morning at 8 o'clock in the hotel at. We could our room immediatley, have a quick breakfast and were on the beach chair ... with the lawn under a palm tree to them. On the lawn next door had the company 3 meters a event: we are one family. The beschallungsfirma has for the whole day try, which the complex bear. So we are further drawn. There began after some time on the neighboring property undergoing renovations. So we are direction beach. At the weekend were still the parachute world championships and it landed again and again small aircraft on the runway sloping in front of the hotel in the sea. Then a group of young russians in our proximity always larger developed and there is also the volume always risen further. To end on a good note there were in the afternoon a flugschau with 7 düsenjets, the colorful strips at the sky painted, perpendicular in the sky flying, over head flew and various formations have been formed. Not very quiet but the half hour nice to see. The first day was calm not straight, but absolute silence you can't wait. Already on the coming day was the garden again fully available and only by the somewhere always construction work taking place 'disturbed'. A word about the russian guests: there was plenty of it, but no one fell particularly unpleasant on (except for the somewhat rustic eating). The rest of the guests were germans, english, french, scandinavians, americans, etc. There are loads of beach chairs, the spread throughout on the grounds is possible, so that no one early in the morning a little occupied, is also not practiced. By the events or by ' renovation measures' the lawns are the loungers already moved time. However the garden and the beach is so large, that we always a pleasant place. read more

    We had a club sea view room (number 556) with a beautiful view of the pool- and gardens, and the sea and a part of the palm -Iceland. Our room had the character and the size a junior suite. There is free wireless internet, a flatscreen tv and video-on-demand system (not used). The club -rooms have in the mezzanine lounge, in the for the whole day free drinks and light meals. In addition there is 18.30 – 20.30 alcoholic beverages (red and white wine, sparkling wine and cocktails) and cold and warm canapées. In the room there was every day different fruits and circa 1,5l of water per person. The club room from april/may 2013 deluxe room and then also no club lounge more.

    The breakfast in the main building is still very varied. There is a huge selection and everything is of excellent quality. An asian luxury hotel it could not be better. So we knew it from previous years and loved it, that it still is! Guests from the club rooms have a private breakfast downstairs in the Sea Breeze Restaurant, a little smaller, as the in the main building. Dinner we did in the hotel not taken.

    There is from the hotel a shuttle bus, the at 11:30 o'clock, 15:00 pm and 7:00 p. m. to the sister hotel großvenor house and to Emirates Mall goes. The großvenor house anyway every 15 minutes with a shuttle service. The Emirates Mall also has a ' pick-up service ' at 10:03 o'clock, 11:18 hours, 2:48 p. m., 4:48 p. m. and 7:18 p. m., then it drives the Sofitel and the Sheraton at, before he the mall. Back it goes first the habthoor hotel, then return to the royal Meridien etc. A taxi from the gold souk to the hotel costs that means 65. we are at 21:45 hours funky, very well come through, good 100 kilometer per hour and about 25 minutes. The hotel's location is unique. In the foreground the sea and in the background the skyscrapers. For a visit to Dubai unfortunately, there was no access to public transportation, but since the price for a taxi isn't much, it is always worth, to take a taxi. On foot can the shopping/restaurant mile are easily reachable. Or you can take a taxi to one of the large malls. The hotel is good choice for a little relax and still a bit from the fascinating city of Dubai to see. read more

It is one of the older hotels in Dubai and consists of 3 building complexes. The old one sees however not at (apart from it somewhat small is, as the newer giant hotel). It is located directly on the wide, sandy beach with a view of 'the palm'. The Atlantis, Burj Al Arab you can even from the beach from see. Near very good weather with clear view, you could even the burj khalifa notice. The hotel is very clean and made a very good and well-kept impression. Wifi is free available. Several times daily there was free shuttle buses ... to the einkaufmalls. We had a clubzimmen, which also access to the private lounge including. Posted food was half board (was free for everyone). The guest structure, as well as the age of the guests was mixed. read more

    Our club room was very spacious. It was a bit old but nevertheless very nice and clean. We had the possibility also the other building and were able to see that this was a bit were more modern. There was a balcony. Tv, wi-fi (free), air conditioning, mini bar (fee), telephone... Everything available. The advantage of the club -room is also the already mentioned access to the lounge. In this there are during the day soft drinks, afternoon tea time with coffee, tea, cakes and snacks and in the evening finger food, cocktails, as well as various alcoholic beverages (everything in the room price included, that means not paying extra).

    The service was excellent. Already on arrival we were the luggages decreased, we saw then in the room again ☺. After the formalities at the check-in done were, we were 2 rooms for selection shown. The cleaning of the rooms was done really well, there were daily several bottles of water, as well as fresh fruits provided. The service in the restaurants was very attentive, especially the staff in the lounge area are to be emphasized here. They make a great job, so the vacationer feel welcome. At the beach will occasionally small samples serves, cold towels doled out, and spray's with cold water. You can also a wine cooler with ice for its drinks (free of charge).

    As already mentioned the hotel lies directly at a very broad beach (the best time in the Google Maps and compare). The Dubai Marina, and 'the walk' (promenade ) is well within walking distance. There are therefore many local available, if you outside the hotel meals would like. The nearest metro station is 5-10 minutes. If that's too far, one of the cheap taxis.

The hotel and the swimming pool, as well as the beach is very clean and nice. There is free - shuttle buses to the malls. The staff were quite friendly, but unfortunately one has sometimes the feeling the mass processing. The president of the us to the room was a bit pushy about the tips. Very large game and fun offer for children in pinguinclub. The guests are mostly both tourists and families with children. Sometimes was something construction noises to hear, the view from the balcony was great. read more

    Size of the room was sufficient and matter of taste, by very early arrival at o'clock in the morning we to rash, a room in the first floor taken, there was the balcony very small. So, still rather a little, and then in upper floors enjoy the view. Also care should be, definitely not to the street take there could it was a little noisy :-). As a tip is also very good, an adapter forward, the electrical is not in every room 'european' furnished and one or another for us in need of renovation but everything was there, what a hotel room should be. Hair dryer and iron can confidently stay at home.

    There are noisy travel guide there 14 restaurants, however we have only little use it. The main restaurant brasserie is for breakfast lunch and dinner usable, there, there are everything in buffet-form but after 7 days it becomes boring, because it then repeated however there, everyone will be full. It is enough however overnight stay with breakfast to take, because in the walk, about 5 minutes path there are numerous bars, bistros, restaurants for little and for a lot of money. Al kaihma is very relaxing, there you can end the evening with a shisha and a mocktail.

    In Dubai you get along only with English, unless one speaks perfectly arabic :-) the staff are very attentive and incredibly friendly. The rooms were always very well cleaned and again and again tidy in the evening the slippers us at the bed and desires, as additional mineral water or ice or fruit or new towel, fulfilled immediately. Every morning there was the current daily newspaper of Dubai, free of charge. On the final day our departure we were very, very early (4.30) even to our desire a breakfast to the room brought, the cost of the hotel went.

    The loungers are a bit far away from the water, whereas it therefore is very recommendable, flip-flops or sandals to wear, because the sand to the water is at a temperature of 41° very, very hot ;-). One comes überball fast for little money with the taxi there, whereby also a abenteuter can be, because in Dubai hardly is a car the preset speed and a little composure is very advisable ;-) but also with the metro one comes fast to the malls or simply on foot to walk.

A great hotel directly at a very nice beach, which to the hotel belongs. Pool area very big and enough spaces for sunbeds also a bit out of the way from the action. Very attentive and friendly staff. By the pool are in any case ice and drinks offered. Small Attentions and at all times a refreshing napkin as the Wasserspray to chair stituents. Super great, very clean and luxurious hotel. It already somewhat older is you barely notice, all super maintained! The service is very, very good, very friendly staff, as we have never experienced before. On the beach, there was refreshment chilled towels and small ice cube from orange juice, water and fruit stood every day fresh in the room. The hotel lies optimal for guests, the Dubai as a city explore and nevertheless on beach vacation not do without want. The hop on-hop off bus fetches a directly from the hotel from. We had a safari on the hotel booked, was ... fantastic! With the taxi one is for about 9€ in Dubai Mall ( Fontains /Burj Khalifa ). Evenings you can wonderful on a boulevard with many shops and restaurants/ bars stroll. Friday evenings is worthwhile the especially for the price all car fans! We do indeed have a dreamlike vacation had! read more

We had our room on the eighth floor in the main building. Our view was to the Hotel Atlantis. The rooms were very spacious, very clean and beautiful. The staff were in the entire property very friendly. They were everywhere tried hard to please the guests. No wishes were left unfulfilled. Evenings there were at the bars live music with different topics. Overnight stay with breakfast is for Dubai sufficient, because you lots of possibilities outside from the hotel food to go. When you the hotel and to the right goes finds you the Dubai Marina - town center a ... very good Mexican (on the boarder ). The breakfast buffet was delicious and rich. It was one of our most beautiful vacation. We come surely in some years back-and to this hotel again. read more

We are at night at 2 o'clock in the hotel arrived and we got an upgrade for a suite with approximately 80 meters². We were very pleased and we could not explain. In the morning, al we on the balcony entered we had the explanation. We saw a construction site and heard it. There were 2 massive current generators (diesel powered regional trains) since, which day and night ran. The apology of the hotel i must say, that you in the morning asked, whether with the room everything okay would be. Since we only a week remained and the luggages ... already unpacked were we wanted to the room not. Change. We were always until late at night and the windows are perfectly soundproofed, so quiet we slept in. When you a room bay, you should definitely point 8., that it is not in the front or side is, since around the hotel is being built. Apart from that we can recommend the hotel without giving it a second thought, which condition, cleanliness and friendliness subject. read more

    We had a club room and got a upgrade to a suite. The furnishings same was very good and very tastefully decorated. 2 time tv,2 time toilet, kitchenette, corner bath with a view of the Hotel Atlantis and Burj Al Arab on the palm island.

    The breakfast was for a 5 stars hotel sufficient and the quality of the meals was good. In the restaurants everything was clean and the service staff was very friendly. I recommend the breakfast room under the clublounge and in the tower.

    I rate the location of the hotel very good (in spite of the construction, which eventually verschwiendet ) as it is probably the best sandy beach of Dubai has. As is with about 10 minutes walk to The subway station (a drive is definitely recommendable). Laterally in front of the hotel there is a street with many restaurants different nationalities. The Marina Mall is also on foot reachable, But if you in Dubai Mall was, you will be disappointed. Excursions we had over the internet and were very satisfied.

We had a trip for one night booked. As our dinner ( half board) not could take, we asked at the front desk the buffet in the evening at our last evening to eat can. This was confirmed to be safe, we repeated this on the following days and asked the tour operators to do this. Unfortunately arrived all Verschiebungswünsche not in the restaurant (Brasserie) at. Basically no large problem. We had vacation and were relaxed. Our friendly's please, the bill without the amount for the dinner newly issued was missbilligend commented. They let us sit and ignored us. After ... repeated Admonition in the staff we received a revised accounts on the table slammed. No word of either regret or apology. This has the altogether really positive impression very greatly reduced. In a hotel this price range not acceptable for us and therefore not recommendable. read more
